In my view part of them failed in their gambling affairs while other part is from the class of armchair experts who never gambled themselves. Everyone should speak for  themselves and not for everybody, if they can not win in gambling then I can win as a matter of fact this week I have won a lot of money and if not for the fact that I played with what I can afford to let go, the money would have been so big. This not about theory but realistically speaking, any experienced gambler knows that gambling is of two ways which is lose and win and the lose is greater then the win but people just ignore the losses and continue to gamble because they believe that one day they are going to win a big amount from gambling. No it is not about discouraging people but some people have gone through such experience. I have gone through that myself and I believe most gamblers have too. I have had loses and the most painful one was a particular game making mess of my three bet slip which made me lose much of the bankroll. There are times of winning true but that winning can go back in a twinkling of an eye. However, I don't make people to lose hope in their games , every gambler should know what works for them.

In my estimation, the right thing that is said is that in gambling you cannot beat the house. There is a permanent house edge that ensures that the house must 9 over 10 times win. And even the one percent possibility of you winning cannot be predicted with any strategy, formula or algorithm created. It is very random. It is not mean to sound discouraging but actually it is encouraging so that you can gamble responsibly. When the thoughts of chasing loses or revenge gambling comes into your mind, you can tell yourself that it is not worth it because of the house edge.

I wouldn’t advise anyone to go into gambling if they do not really understand what they’re venturing into. There are a lot of things involved in gambling and it’s important to at least know a few things before starting, I’m not saying you’ll need to be an expert or know everything about gambling before you start gambling, but knowing and understanding the basics of gambling is very crucial in order not to go in with a misconception and using a wrong approach.

Personally, i always say that you can't win in gambling because it takes more than it gives you. Gambling is a game of luck and winning happens on rare occasions, I'm not saying it impossible to win but you can't beat the game when you are a constant player. Those that are actively involve will keep losing, it doesn't matter how many times they win the losses they incur would be much more than their wins. I believe that most of us here in this forum that gambles have experienced more loses than wins and when they say that they can't win, it must be from personal experiences. From my experience when a gambler says that they can't win, it doesn't necessarily mean that they don't win sometimes but if the loses are so much more than the wins that is when they say they can't win. The phrase helps us to understand that we shouldn't rely on gambling to survive, it also tells the risk in using huge amounts to gamble. Knowing that you can't win most of the time in gambling is telling yourself the truth, so you will not put all your hopes that you must win.

Yes, I experienced by myself. But if that is a small winning, I still get it but not big win. We tell that we are difficult to win in gambling because we face that by ourselves so we warn people to be careful in gambling and not spend too much money than they can afford.

It's in the long run okay? Context always matters. It's not about individual games or sessions that's just dumb since it can be disproven with literally a few games lol. It's just a saying gamblers say that no matter how much you gamble, you can't really "out profit" a casino. At least most of the time and yes, by most peoples books, that means enough to define it as a "can't win". Forget about gambling, isn't life a sum of yes and no possibilities!? You either win or loss, there will always be a 50/50 chance on these thing. I believe the people who says you can't win in gambling never gambled in their whole life. They just don't like the concept of gambling, hence discouraging others that they can't win. Also, we shouldn't just forget gambling is about luck..!
