This isn't usually the case, especially with psychedelic drugs. If any drug's patent has expired, as most drugs are, then big pharma does't benefit much from it and care much if you take it. So, big pharma only benefits from you taking patented drugs for the most part. Very few psychadelic drugs benefit big pharma.

Marijuana in specific is a good way to help someone learn to meditate and is a plant created by nature for humans to do anything they wish with. Granted, it should NOT be the only way in which one meditates. Certainly you could benefit a lot from meditation because of your very obvious anger problem.

But yes without specifically understanding that the helpful purpose of phychadelic drugs is mostly for meditation and contemplation of life's mysteries, personal issues, and that sort of therapy, then one may not get any benefits. You can't just take a psychedelic drug without any form of self-reflection and expect a benefit.

I don't understand the attitude of "psychadellic or illegal drugs are bad".
Look. The people in the USA are fucked up pieces of shit because they are taking prescription medications because medical schools are fucked up places that teach doctors to drug everyone up. Universities are extremely unprofessional. Universities promote violence.

While you have some valid points, that is a lot of talking past me you're doing there. I specifically noted benefits of non-prescription drugs for meditation purposes, and you never acknowledged that. You have a message that you expect me to hear about prescription drugs. Do you ever meditate (including prayer)?

The mainstream media will not tell you to take Ivermectin to cure a cold because the patent has expired, nor would anyone take Ivermectin to cure a cold because even though its a ~$10 USD medicine, the doctor appointment is expensive. There is someone I know who had a cold recently. They took a moderate dose of Ivermectin, a prescription drug without any prescription in combination with Zinc, Melatonin, Vitamin D, Vitamin C, elderberry, and green leafy vegetables. Four days later, they had no more cold symptoms with each day being and improvement. The only side effects noticed were from their store-bought symptom reducers.

The important point though is that because you are quite bitter because people are evil, meditation is quite important. Whether you do that with the aid of plants or drugs is of much lesser importance. I also believe that the world has many evil people, but I focus on the positive people who are generous and virtuous. But yes, just taking drugs alone doesn't help in many cases, it merely can put life on pause while the actual problem is worked out. And yes, the problems are often related to evil people in the world existing.

props to van damme making me laugh out loud

but caroasi has a good point - instead of relying our well-being, our health or wealth to others, we should take responsibility and make it our own personal goal to develop skills and knowledge to attain these attributes.

Dude. We do not need to cure the common cold at all. It is just a cold. Get over it. Just eat healthy, exercise, expose yourself to the cold and heat https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26147760/    https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32562562/, eat hot peppers https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23298960/, go outside and get sunlight, and have plenty of friends as a support system (this is not going to happen since humans are fucked up), and stop working for people who hate you (this is really hard to do because most corporations are hateful, so start your own business). You don't need weed or ivermectin or anything like that.

Regards,

-Joseph Van Name Ph.D.

P.S. I do all of those things I have mentioned except for having friends and social support because everyone is a fucked up piece of shit and I hate them.
