The world markets are shaking as an effect of the the decisions made by Trump. Are you enjoying and buying more?



The market is crashing since last week. The trump effect!

However, my personal portfolio is not yet red because I had invested a lot of money during COVID. So I feel the current crash is an opportunity to buy more good stocks and hold them for early retirement.

Same goes for Bitcoin!

It is actually not expected that the price of bitcoin will keep going down till this time since January that Trump was sworn in. The hope for recovery came with the strategic reserve order but that seem not to have made positive impact yet. The price of bitcoin gave a recovery sign few weeks ago but last weekend and this new week has been on the fall for bitcoin unfortunately, hope that we won't enter bear despite the positive news around bitcoin.

just check the charts but zoom out from a 1-5 day view and look at the 1-2year view

notice the numbers are not really "economy is broken" [fear].. but more so "corrected to last years value"

much like bitcoin after a ATH whom is crying fear of the correction.. who is shaking.. most people are instead excited for the discount opportunity of the correction

for those that are afraid and shaking, you are just reading media clickbait emotional triggers, you are not actually looking at the numbers independently to see the opportunity.. dont just take medias advice to fear the market. media have a reason to make readers fear the market. they dont want normal investors buying the opportunity until the elites get their fill first

Even if you just buy last 2 years you’re portfolio will still in profit because the current price of the market especially Bitcoin is still above the previous ATH.

As for the stock market most of them is still above during the COVID time.

I’m still not buying while there’s no clear sign of market established for the effect of current tariff set by Trump. There might be a harsh repercussions from heavily affected country like China. This is just the tip of the iceberg for the looming economic war against US.

In the financial markets, there are only two trends, up or down, and when the market is flooded with red like this, it is clearly a golden opportunity for all of us. But the irony is that not everyone has enough money and always has a reserve for unexpected situations. Even billionaires and top investors are suffering heavy losses, small investors like us can hardly be satisfied with the current situation.


This is only an opportunity for those who still have money and will be a big disappointment for those who went all in earlier and believed that Trump would help Bitcoin reach $300k this year.

Many people may hate him because he doesn't like bitcoin but it's clear that Warren Buffett is completely different from the rest, and he deserves to be a legend in the financial field.

Exactly. Not so long ago, there was a little news item that Buffett was going into cash and had already collected a record amount of dollars in his accounts. Well, now he's going to buy. Indeed, this is the most successful investor who knows how to predict well.

This is another correction period and a discount price period, for those that have no extra cash flow they can continue holding their assets and for those that have extra cash flow they could take advantage of the current discount prices are the major assets in the market.

I am confident that we will see Bitcoin rise again. The main question is when exactly will this happen? So far, we have seen a steady bearish trend.

Donald Trump has completely destroyed the entire previous system of globalization and international trade with his actions. Probably, his main target was China, which he sees as his main geopolitical adversary and which he perceives as the main existential threat. Perhaps Donald Trump would like the Fed to lower the key rate now, but the Fed does not want to do this, as it rightly believes that inflation in the USA will rise.

At the same time, if we take a hypothetical trader who took Tesla shares on long leverage and is now facing the threat of liquidation (and really needs cash to avoid this threat), will anything stop him from selling his Bitcoin ETF share? And will such a sale lead to a further fall in the price of Bitcoin?

And now, cash is not only needed by traders. It is needed by real business owners who are facing the threat of bankruptcy.  In this situation, will they not sell their Bitcoins?

The situation of the market right now all depends on the individual perspectives; either to see it as an opportunity to stack more portfolio, or a situation to get panic about the crash. In as much as we don't like seeing the reds in the market it creates an opportunity for those who missed the previous buying opportunity to now take advantage.

Yeah, perhaps we didn't expect this bleed so early especially not in this very quarter of the year but that's why the market is said to be a speculation market nothing is certain. Economic events will always set in and it either makes the market rise or fall.

And the question implies, I am not enjoying it as the system turns disasterous with the market on frowning and bleeding in the red carpet.
I don't feel good seeing the value of my assets falling so bad.
Even though I am buying on the circumstances, it is because I don't have a choice rather taking chances of the opportunity for crying out loud without buying and accumulating won't make good difference.

There's a recent upward and a quick downward for the S & P 500 and it's a clear indication that there's a manipulation that's happening. As if this news is shocking for all of us because we knew it even before. The tariff war is now getting more serious when the other countries are trying to negotiate and retaliate.

Perhaps Donald Trump would like the Fed to lower the key rate now, but the Fed does not want to do this, as it rightly believes that inflation in the USA will rise.

According to the news, the Fed will meet behind closed doors today, and this meeting was announced 1 day after Trump announced tariffs on all countries (April 3). We'll know what the meeting says when it's over, but Bob Michele of JPMorgan Asset Management predicts the Fed will likely have to cut rates before its next meeting in May. Because if interest rates are not lowered, combined with the impact of the tariff war, it will push the US economy into recession, and that is even scarier than rising inflation.

I keep seeing Trump urging the Fed to lower interest rates on truthsocial, I guess the main purpose of Trump's tariff war is to force the Fed to lower interest rates and confront China. He doesn't really want to balance the trade deficit or boost domestic production as he claims, IMO.

In place of this effect there could have been any other, since markets react to any news background.

There is nothing to enjoy but there is a lot of drama going on in the media at the moment. As soon as the US market opens, we got the news on the social media that Trump delayed the tariffs by 90 days and at that time stocks and the crypto markets pumps. Soon after that we got the news from the white house that it is fake news and market dump again. I think it was all planned to punish the late shorters and also who longed on this fake news got rekt

Stock markets have the tendency to recover after falling sharply, we have seen this trend so many times in the past and I am sure stocks over the world will recover soon. The key thing which successful traders do during such times is they don't participate in sell off rather when everyone is selling they are either holding there stocks or adding more stock to there portfolio at discounted rates.
Bitcoin has also taken a dip and likewise it will recover soon. No need to worry about Bitcoin price fall, just HODL.

Know that as the market is shaking, not everyone is shaking because apart from the Trump's effects, we are used to the price of bitcoin experiencing corrections over the years. Some time last year, when the price of Bitcoin first got an ATH of $73k, it fell and got a correction to around $51k, and it seems it later went below that price but i can't recall again then the price movement became so sluggish till when it was nearing the US elections, it now started moving forward gradually till when it skyrocketed after the elections.

The only thing i can say its that the corrections mean a time to buy more bitcoins. Trump is a very controversial president so don't be surprise that he can come up with policies that can make the price to gain back strength again because if the price keeps falling, it will make a lot of bitcoiners to criticize his government and i don't think he would like to see such thing happen so he'll still find out  ways to make things get better after these tariffs war. However, Trump's actions are just mare short term volatility, the major things that cause volatility in bitcoin hasn't even started so we just need to be calm and see how far the current market downwards trend will go. I'm enjoying the DIP prices right now because am buying more at DIP prices, if the price reaches $109k again, i would have made a lot of profits. I even wish for the price to fall more, i really need to buy more DIP prices.

The markets are very volatile now with 3 days in a row of roughly 5% drops each day, it is doing immense damage to the world economy and you should be careful because it might dip much lower. He is quite stubborn, has not really outlined what his objectives are in negotiations and refuses to reverse these obviously damaging tariffs. It is going to make everyone a lot poorer and break supply chains that have barely recovered from Covid and the invasion of Ukraine. It continue to drop for some time, especially if you see we are barely past where the market was in 2023. Most presidents would have not made such foolish moves and on identifying the economic damage being caused, would have changed course. Be careful buying right now.

I won't really say that the market is shaking and I won't say it's the Trump effect, the market has always been like this even before Trump made his way to the white house, this is just a correction and we have seen it before so no need to panic, I'm not shaking because I see this as an opportunity to accumulate more and more because the market will surely recover from this dip as it has always in the past, I have predicted that Bitcoin's price will fall even more before it starts to pump up again so those of us that are shaking and panicking about the fall should brace themselves for a long rollercoaster ride.
