There will be no single answer for this, I mean, some will say they are just lucky, some will say that they have a strategy that works, some will say just good at gambling, some will say that they follow strict rules, etc... in short, people will most likely have different answers to this question.

First, put your expectations on the minimal level, bear in mind that gambling is a game of chance, be aware that your strategy would not make your bets profitable all the time, play with just a minimal amount that is specifically allocated for gambling. Before you place a bet, don't just make fast glance selection, take your time and make analysis with valid datas and while staking on your selections it should be done with any amount that is more comfortable for you to lose. I just practice those habits and it makes my gambling journey peaceful for me. When I was dealing with this my weakness was chasing my losses, that was the only thing that triggered the urge to gamble more. The more I lost I would continue losing more until I came up with a way to solve this addiction problem. I always divide my bankroll for the month into the amounts I would stake daily, some people lose their entire bankroll in one day which is bad, I divided it and made sure I don't touch the rest after losing my stake for the day. This gave me a lot of control over it.

Actually this is true because if the gambler could know that the game is a game of chances whereby if they are not lucky they might not win their games ,so they will probably stake wisely so that they don't lose much if they are not lucky.
However the kind of strategy we implying on our predictions also matters but it gets to a point where by those strategies wouldn't work anymore.
Actually, my weakness is nearly winning, this happens when I almost won a bet, like anytime the last game lost the whole ticket or a single game on different tickets. But this days, no matter what, I hardly chase my loss cause I know the consequences.

This actually happens everytime I wager. As long as I play the game, I'm expecting a loss -- a win is a bonus to me. That's how much I try to remove my focus on the outcome, and that's exactly how to build emotional balance in gambling.

Winning is strictly by luck in casino games and in sportbet, luck plays a major role than skill in order for you to win your bet. There is no way that you can succeed in making profits in gambling based on the reason that I stated above. The only thing that a gambler needs to do, is to limit his losses by quitting the game after some losses. Don't get it twisted gambling is for fun and not to make profit.

I spend more on sports betting than casino games. But my weakness is still betting with many matches in the parlay bet slip. Too many matches added allow for bigger Odds, but the risk is also bigger. I know that but still often do it. If the losing situation continues then I will decide to switch to single bets with good odds. Making several bets will not be a problem.
In gambling, no one really succeeds in winning consistently. Sometimes we are lucky, but we also have to be aware of accepting the reality if we lose.

I can only answer this question based on my experience as a gambler of over 3 years. My formula for success in gambling is guided by the principles of which I use when gambling. It is the money that I can afford to lose that I use in gambling. If I win once, I am leaving. It is also the same when I lose too. I don't try to continue playing in both cases. All these ways helps to keep my loses down. I only take calculated risk and I am very loyal to the gambling site I play one. Not too much of an adventure seeker when it comes to trying new casinos if the ones I play at are perfoming well and treating their customers right.

Bringing this to reality is one of the weakness we all have at some point in time, because not everyone of us managed to make a win when we gamble, it also happens in some situations that the more we are eager to win then we don't see it coming until when we are less expectant of it coming before we see the winning opportunity when we gambles, we can try on our own in combining together series of strategies for use and make sure that things aren't going towards the same direction we have wanted from it, but we keep trying until our own luck comes and we make a win.

In the end, it's just playing and trying again and again. And if you get lucky, that's it. It happens to some people, but many never score a big hit! There is no secret plan, no perfect strategy, no sure bet, and whoever offers you anything from this is very likely trying to scam you.

If after all these years of gambling I could say what the biggest weakness of all of us gamblers is, it would be patience. We don't have patience, and that's why we often fall into stupid things/situations... good things take time and research, those who dedicate themselves to something have better results.

It is not easy to make money from gambling and betting. 95 to 97% of gamblers and bettors are losing. So do not think you can make money from gambling.

How did you know they are making money? Just like I meant, people at losing money while gambling. Also because someone make money from gambling today, that does not mean the person will not lose money while gambling tomorrow.

There is absolutely no unique pattern to unlocking gambling difficulties and challenges, as it differs from one individual to another. But however, when I was facing challenges in constant loses in gambling on Sport betting, what I did was to take a break off gambling that moment and then make a detailed research regarding alternative patterns of sport betting. Because initially when I started gambling on Sport betting, my usual pattern were to bet on either "Home, Draw or Away" team to win, which wasn't always favourable, but after making research I was able to get a variety of betting patterns, such as placing a bet on Over 2.5, corners, BTTS, red or yellow cards and e.t.c.

Truly 100% winning isn't something we get out of gambling... And about the 10-30% there could be some gamblers that are getting such winning percentages but that isn't a success to me because of you're getting about 70% losses then 30% wins doesn't look attractive. And it's not surprising because we're dealing with a lucky base activity here and not on individual brilliance.

Expectations could be very destructive to a gambler if he fails to control it. Gambling was designed for our pleasure  and when it's going in the opposite for us then it's because we're engaging in it in the wrong way and with the wrong mindset.

Well for me, when I am on a losing streak I tend to go on a break, I completely get off gambling and let my mind forget about it before I go back and on my first game I usually look for games with a high probability of winning and then I’d bet on them and make sure I use it to break out of that streak.

Dont know on where you do get that 10-30% of gamblers are making money or profits with gambling? Just like on what others been saying, any source in regarding about this information?
To know that gambling industry isnt something that could give out gamblers that assurance to win up and most of the time gamblers are on the losing side and thats why gambling business or industry are really that profitable due to this reason. In regarding about weaknesses then everything will be that pertaining about gambling addiction and on the ways on how it should be controlled and thats why most of the time on which gamblers do suffer huge loses because they cant be able to control up their greed on which it causes up that bad decision making in towards their finances on which this is the main thing that being affected when you do gamble. I don't know when you can call it weakness as gambling is testing the unknown, and we don't know that the outcome will be. If you are regularly incurring loses then maybe it's time to stop simply as that. If you try to force everything it's not only money will be the problem, you might also have a mental trauma after that.

I think for "successful" gamblers, this as the person that have a lot of money or have deep bankroll that they can absorb a huge lows in a day and then comeback strong and hope that they can bounce back and won what they have lost.

It's all about discipline and always knowing when to stop...I stopped trying to make gambling a source of income and just gambled for fun only, this is one of the easiest way to overcome this addiction..I reduced my activities in casino games and started focusing more on sports betting, I find it easy to control myself when playing these games but everyone has their switch all you have to do is identify your triggers and find a way to tackle it because if you don't you will keep on making the same mistakes over and over again.
