Welcome to the first Bitcoin Penny® BitcoinTalk Community Contest of 2025!As most of you know, The Bitcoin Penny Company’s 10th Anniversary is this year. Since early 2015, we’ve been supplying the BitcoinTalk community with thousands of our little copper collectible coins which have become an icon and flagship product for our company.
But for the last two years, our small company has faced immense struggle through severe financial hardships, numerous production challenges, and customer orders that ship shamefully late.
However, it is with the most sincerest pleasure that I may announce, as of this week, The Bitcoin Penny Company only has three (3) outstanding orders remaining to be minted and shipped, and those are our pre-sold Special Limited Edition
Bitcoin Penny® 10th Anniversary 1 Kilo Silver MEGA Coins! And as those Silver MEGA Coins are finally beginning production, we plan to simultaneously release a limited number of matching one troy ounce (1ozt) and ten troy ounce (10ozt) 10th Anniversary Silver Coins!
As for now, we’ll spend the next week or two playing with (ahem…rigorously and scientifically testing) our brand new, custom, one-of-a-kind, made-to-spec, 200-ton, professional coining press that we had commissioned from an engineering / machining company almost two years ago! (As we’ve discovered, R&Ding an idea of this magnitude takes an unusually long time.)
And while we’re rigorously and scientifically testing (and definitely not playing with) our brand new, in-house, professional quality minting capabilities (dubbed
One Cent Mint™), we’ve decided to host a fun little BitcoinTalk community contest.
RULESThe rules are simple.
Post a quote from any movie in the genres listed below, but change part of the quote to read “Bitcoin Penny.”
Contestants may submit as many quotes as they wish and in any genre categories they wish.
No more than one submission per posting. (Have two great quote ideas? Simply submit them separately in two distinct posts.)
The contest runs thru April 13, 2025 @ 11:59PM EDT (UTC -04:00).
On the following morning (April 14, 2025), we will review all entries and choose one winner from each genre category.
