Everything you have posted is very true. VPN is used to change your location and nothing more than that. Some newbies will use antivirus to protect themselves against malware but that is not 100% guaranteed. The best is to know how to protect yourself against malware. For crypto wallets, you can use airgapped device or cold wallet for storing high amount of coins while still making sure you avoid all possible means of downloading malware.

It is important for people to learn how to avoid malware and not just by using antivirus.

Oh really, I am just coming to hear of this for the first time and this looks really like a joke and they don’t mean what they’re actually saying. Is this another method to get people’s attention divided and newbies trying to get NordVPN used for their bitcoin storage, I hope those YouTubers are not pulling up something incentivised to them through this means. VPN that we know of and their work is to change the location from which you’re accessing the internet from and nothing much. Talking about antivirus, they can be installed into your PC to protect you from virus even though they don’t guarantee an 100% safety of your PC been infected.

If you lose your wallet private key or mnemonic seed, you will surely lose your coins to hackers. You can not be safe with any VPN software if you already lose either your wallet private key or mnemonic seed.

You did not post the YouTube link where YouTubers say that NordVPN can save investors from hackers; you may have taken this out of context. All VPN features can only change their location to avoid being tracked; there are no special features that can make a VPN protect you from hackers if one of the apps of the hackers gets into your system.
But I will consider using a VPN to protect my identity and to strengthen my privacy so hackers cannot trace my location. If what you're saying is true, then that YouTuber channel should be reported for misleading information.

I saw some hackers can able to access a PC like on one of the youtuber if you know Scammer payback he can able to access even the scammers company CCTVs. So without masking your IP they can easily hack your IP and look for open ports. The help of VPN is to masking your IP because if anyone knows your IP they can possibly trying to access your PC and export all files from your PC including your crypto wallets. Having a VPN can avoid them and encrypt all data sent to the internet it would also give a hard time to find your real IP if someone is trying to hack your PC.

The last time I checked VPN's were used for changing the location only. So they added a new feature that detects malicious codes? Lol (being sarcastic). Only a newbie, or someone with zero knowledge regarding VPN's would fall for that! I mean it quite obvious, it is only used to protect our privacy but not our devices!

You are very correct in everything you said and answering the question of who are we to believe now? It is not longer new that informations gotten from media should be filter, compared and contrast before believing, YouTube influencers can overly emphasize or exaggerate stories just to get the traffic and the attention they needed, you are right doing personal research is the way head out of not being misinformed and carrying wrong information. Getting information is one thing and validation is another big thing the we need to attempt to or consider.
