I think the Clarity Act will be passed next year.
I see political differences in the US as one of the reasons why the bill's passage has been delayed.
The US needs a law that would distribute powers between the SEC and the CFTC, otherwise companies won't be able to operate in the US market.

It might be passed, however, when will this be passed and how certain that it will be passed on 2026? I reckon that this will be a question that will create much uncertainty, speculation and doubt on the cryptospace.

What will be very headshaking for this is if it will be passed it will be treated something similar to a sell the news occurrence by the market and dump hehehehehe.

If the US government wants the country to become the world's leader in cryptocurrency, they need to loosen regulations.

I'm not familiar with all the nuances of US policy, but I believe the lack of legislation and the recent SEC rulings are also having a positive impact on the crypto industry. While there's still uncertainty, many companies are afraid to invest in crypto projects.
The US is a money-driven country, so I'm confident that lawmakers will eventually reach an agreement.

I see that the CLARITY Act has several versions, and the SEC and CFTC are still battling over authority. But the most interesting thing is that all high-profile cases have been suspended to avoid setting precedents.
The CLARITY Act is just the beginning of crypto regulation; in fact, the law in its current form raises more questions than it answers.

There are people that are beginning to become bearish on the passing for the bill on the clarity act. It appears that time is already limited. If the bill will not be passed before the midterm elections in America, it appears that the SEC can use regulation through enforcement tactics again.

It is speculated that there will be more Democrats that will win on the midterm elections next year. This implies that more anticrypto politicians will be in congress and the senate.

I don't want to make predictions because my analysis is based solely on the news. I don't live in the US and don't understand much of it.

I believe that for the crypto industry to develop in the US, the country needs a fundamental law. There are too many regulators in the US, and their interests overlap due to the lack of legal regulation. Therefore, this law is needed as soon as possible.

It's good that you agree with me that such a law is necessary in the US. Therefore, I believe the Clarity Act should be passed, but how it will be achieved is a completely different matter.

If the main points of controversy are removed from this law, it could be adopted as early as the first half of 2026. This is very difficult to predict.

Also, if the next president is an anticrypto democrat, we should very much expect another administration that will be very much similar to the Biden administration. There will be another operation chokepoint 3.0 hehehehe.

I've long believed that there's no such thing as a Republican-Democrat divide among politicians. They're friends, have families, and get married. There's a certain conflict of interest that needs to be resolved. There are a lot of crypto users in the US who would then vote against the Democrats.

However, on a professional relationship, they cannot let their personal biases affect their decision or they will be removed from their party. Also, in America, these party members donate money to their party. This is something similar to an investment in the party heeheheh. I agree with you, but if Democrats vote against Republican bills and vice versa, the laws won't pass. So they'll have to negotiate. They have a lot of disagreements, but they can pass amendments that don't have any disagreements. I can only watch this circus.

Senate Democrats haven't fled the negotiating table for the legislation to finally regulate the U.S. crypto industry, but frustrations are evident as a new draft is being speed-written as the weekend approaches.

People familiar with the negotiations have said that a resistant Senator Cory Booker, the New Jersey Democrat who has led his party in Agriculture Committee talks with Republican Chairman John Boozman could end up delaying that panel from next week's plan.

Either Trump and his partners can reach an agreement with the Democrats or they can't.
