Few days ago as I was browsing through social media I saw a lady lamenting of how her parents never planned their life and just gave birth to a lot of children and the worst part is that they don't even bother taking care of the children in terms of education and their welfare, stating that the parents shifts their responsibilities to her since she is the older one and is doing well for her self, everything her siblings needs she provides the lady was so bittered.

1 so I want to ask is it right for parents to shift responsibility of taking care of their family to their own children

2 or people shouldn't get married if they are not ready financially?

For me I think if you are not ready financial you should not go in to marriage and also you should have family planning with you partner not to come and be giving birth to children you know you would not take care of by then increasing the crime rate of this country, I also think if you have the capacity to take care of your siblings do so even do your parents caused it.

I really think that the Nigeria government should make a law that disallows any man from marrying a woman when either of the them do not have a job, and in addition to that a restriction should be placed on child bearing, which will make it quite difficult for 1 family to give birth to like 10 children. One thing I noticed about Nigeria most especially those that are not really doing well is that they love giving birth to more children than even rich people in the society. And the consequences of this doesn't just strain the family alone, it also spills into the society, and this can be seen when the offspring begin to engage in all sought of criminal activities just to fend for the since their parents couldn't cater for their needs.
Family planning is very crucial before any marriage occur.

It is very wrong in the part of majority of parents for not being able to take care of their children by providing for them the basic needs of life.it is so alarming the way most people give without control as if they are in competition with someone in terms of child bearing when they don't have what it takes to take care of those children. I think if government can come in here and enact a law that will regulate the rate of child birth in the country it will help in reducing crime rates in our country.
