I recently watch an anime which he was given a chance to do over his life. My imagination works on what if I experience this in my life and how can start my Bitcoin journey knowing that the price will sky rocket in the future.

I belong to a poor family when Bitcoin was introduced so I don’t have any access to computers or internet that time because we can’t afford to buy one.

So everything is still very challenging on how will I acquire my first Bitcoin and how can I secure my Bitcoin on secured wallets without losing my private key from hacker or floods(my country experience a lot of typhoon every year).


I want to know what’s your do over plan in case you have a chance to do it. Will you invest on altcoins or you will just focus on Bitcoin investment including mining.

1) 2010–2013: Grind faucets, trade labor for BTC, mine with borrowed hardware.

2) 2013–2017: Secure keys physically, hold through volatility, allocate 10% to ETH/XMR/DOGE.

3) 2017–2021: Take partial profits in bull markets, reinvest in BTC during crashes.

4) Post-2021: Use hardware wallets, diversify into real estate/stable assets, and live off staking/BTC appreciation.

But this is just day dreaming. One important thing is that we learn from the past, we can still plan our future knowing what we know now, it is easy to say what you would have done in the past knowing what you know today. The real question is - what will I do from now on, what will I do tomorrow?

If I was opportuned to know about crypto earlier before my initial discovery, I would still have stick to investing in Bitcoin rather than any mere altcoins. Because we definitely can't compare the growth rate Bitcoin has had for the past 10yrs to any altcoins nor memes coins that still exist today. And as such, Bitcoin will still stand to surprise every other coins in all ramifications, both in terms of price value, market acceptability and ease of use by investors and individuals who wishes to preserve worth over longer period of time. As Bitcoin remains the best asset for future worth establishing tool.

In this case, you need to focus only on Bitcoin, I do not recommend investing in altcoins at all. I think that only Bitcoin is worth investing in, because it has never been hacked, unlike other altcoins. Also, its creation is shrouded in mystery, which means its price will never fall, and the meaning will not change, as it was with Ethereum. Also look at the price, from ATH, look how much the prices of other cryptocurrencies have fallen, and Bitcoin has remained stable, and it looks really strong.

I am feeling I am a bit late but still very long way to go and currently investing with strategy and having good plan surely going to work for peoples those missed early age of this revolution even many are dreaming about good price, but now things are not going like few years back.
Recently few celebrities use their influence and done some good things, but their tactics have never been ideal for common investors just keeping faith in bitcoin and going through with solid way is going to be good for bitcoin investors now I am also using few strategies and digging into this for long time.

No matter how fast or slow - as long as bitcoin performs well as a long-term investment asset, then I will invest in it. It is true that some of us are late to this financial innovation - but bitcoin does not only offer returns as an investment asset, but also offers a variety of other advantages as a means of payment.

Regarding investment assets - of course we can take advantage of various assets that have the potential to provide profits including altcoin. Not a few bitcoin holders also have altcoin in their portfolio - unless they are bitcoin maximalis who are anti-altcoin. I like some altcoin and I also have them in my portfolio - that's how I diversify my investment assets rather than just having one asset. Regardless of how other people's things is - we are fully responsible for any investment risks involved.

I would have bought way more Bitcoin at the very beginning. I remember first coming across Bitcoin when it was under 100 USD but I did not think of it much then... I considered it a fad but I did not really understand how it worked or that it would be so important in the future.

And I would have registered on this forum back in 2012~2015 instead of lurking around occasionally and registering in 2017 finally. I missed out on some fun times with the community.

What everyone wants to get has always been difficult to get.

You can store it on hardware wallets. It is safe if the manufacturer is not from France.

If you have problems with physical storage of the private key locally due to typhoons, then you should think about remote (online) storage of this key. Yes, I realize the danger of giving similar advice due to the risks, but the risks of losing the private key due to annual typhoons are higher. A good option may be to store the private key in different bank safe deposit boxes in different banks, divided into parts. I hope that typhoons don't take away banks in your country.

If in altcoins, then only in some of the top ones. Again, the positions of the tops change every year and those that were leaders turn out to be almost uninteresting and necessary nowadays. Bitcoin was number one and remains so. Why buy a secondary product?

But actually if there were still possibilities of me going back in time, I will have to mine bitcoin and also buy a whole lot of it with every penny I get and by so doing, the reward would have been so much by now and maybe the story would have been something absolutely different

Are you implying here that if ever I have the chance to wake up in my younger body with full knowledge on cryptocurrency, what wiill I do?  Well, I would grab all the possible opportunities for profiting.  So I think I will be investing in both Bitcoin and altcoins but I will be holding BTC and selling altcoin when at profit to be able to acquire more BTC.  Since I have the memory of the future, I think my plan won't fail.

But it’s funny how someone would imagine going back in time because technically, any change either in the pass or future would affect the world significantly and in case of owning bitcoin, the case with bitcoin will be worst because a lot of people would have messed the coin up if they knew it will ever get to this price, thus making it a floppy project.

BTC may be also even more scarce and valuable than it is now.

I would want to be in a more optimistic timeline.

If we know Bitcoin will be like this and increase in the future, we do not want to waste our time but directly buy Bitcoin without taking too long. We may be use much money and keep that Bitcoin in a safe place without telling others.

But all things already happened so we don't have to feel bad. We can still have much time to buy Bitcoin and accumulate it before the price increase.

Maybe I will playing for some altcoins but not take too long because after the price increase, I will sell the altcoin and move to the others. But Bitcoin will be my main investment.

How do you see it being a floppy project? Eventually, BTC would be still as appreciated as it is now.
