https://superquantum.io/qubitcoinHighlights- QUBITCOIN (QTC) is a quantum-accelerated Proof-of-Work cryptocurrency, powered by a novel consensus mechanism called Quantum Proof-of-Work (qPoW). Miners must solve quantum circuit simulations to compete for blocks, pushing the limits of quantum simulators and quantum computers while securing the chain
- The Qubitcoin mainnet has been public and live in alpha since October 29th, 2024. (original blog post, original launch event)
- Qubitcoin supports GPU-based quantum circuit mining via CUDA SDK. Its design aims to fuel both the crypto and quantum industries by merging incentives from blockchain with cutting-edge quantum simulation
- Today, you need either a Linux machine or a WSL instance on Windows with an NVIDIA GPU (with compute capability 7.0 or greater) to run a node or a miner
- GUI wallet is only available on Windows
- All code is open source on cutables are available on https://superquantum.io/qubitcoin
- Developed and supported by non-profit Superquantum with members from universities like MIT and Vanderbilt
- Develop your own miner and quantum simulator software, or quantum computer, or use the stock version of the miner.
What QUBITCOIN brings to the tableBitcoin demonstrated how strong incentives can create hardware breakthroughs, going from CPUs to ASICs in just a few years. Qubitcoin leverages this same competitive drive to upgrade quantum simulators. With qPoW, each miner must complete quantum tasks as part of the mining hash. The tasks simulate a 16-qubit circuit of parameterized rotation gates and CNOTs. Qubitcoin acts as a standardized benchmark for comparing simulators and future quantum hardware. GPU Quantum Circuit Simulation with cuQuantumQubitcoin mining uses NVIDIA’s cuStateVec for GPU-accelerated circuit execution. Simulations rely on 128-bit complex floats and are precision-normalized to fixed-point for hash integration. Developers can plug in their own simulator backend via Bring Your Own Solver (BYOS). This flexibility opens the door to custom GPU kernels, CPU optimizations, or real quantum processors. More: GitHub - Qubitcoin NodeTechnical Summary- Built with Bitcoin Core as a starting point
- Uses SHA256 and SHA3 hashing
- 16-qubit quantum circuits, derived from hashed block data
- Quantum circuit gates: Ry, Rz, CNOT (with parameter angles from hashed input)
- Output transformed into 256-bit hash via expectation values
- Verified in under 1ms on RTX 3060 Laptop GPU
- Block time and difficulty dynamically adjusted via ASERT
- Custom solvers supported (CPU, GPU, quantum hardware)
Useful Links Mining Packages- Qubitcoin Full Node (with cuQuantum)
- BYOS-Compatible: Create your own miner by modifying qhash_thread_init and run_simulation
- Examples in Makefile.am show how to link alternative solvers
Roadmap Highlights- Optimized quantum simulator in development
- Talks with quantum hardware companies and ASIC makers
- Custom wallets

thats moving now. İ admit that im suprised.MIT guy who is founder of this project is followed by kaspa founder and btc foundation guy on X. Also sir Vitalik write something about qPOW at past. Mikhail Shalaginov and his friends may write history. https://x.com/MYShalaginov/status/1949499989052228024i will ape if hit 30m cap.thats my terms for them.

I have studied this project and I do not think it is a scam for at least two reasons
1|>. They introduced an interesting update to POW by redirecting mining energy to solve quantum related simulation problems
2|>. They have reputable scientists in the team

Greetings all, It is great to see you guys taking interest in Qubitcoin. Superdense Consensus details can be found here: https://github.com/super-quantum/qubitcoin/tree/refs/heads/sdc-testingTestnet scheduled for Q1 2026 I believe. I share your sentiments, very neat project and keen to see how SDC could possibly lead to new frontiers for PoW / qPoW. Watching closely also.

THIS IS SCAM BE CAREFULL THEY ARE REPORTED ON REDDIT ALSO
THE ADMINS steal other coins on OTC and then ban all members who talk about it! Have all the proof from transaction details to screenshot with the admin involved. If you join the group and try to ask what's up with this accusation they ban you 100% SCAM

This topic was openly discussed in one of the channels. All accounts which were banned were suspiciously appearing after 5 month of hibernation and clearly belonging to the same actor. Some of the accounts were related to a scam group which did some otc scams at the beginning of the project.

This has absolutely no relation to Qubitcoin
The recent comments above alleging a scam have been written by the same person - and they also kept re-joining the telegram after they were banned for repeated spamming due to a dispute with a community mod who is not a member of the core team.
The person who says Qubitcoin is a scam here has also confirmed on the Telegram QTC Price Channel that their grievance is nothing to do with Qubitcoin or the team... this was before they got banned from the telegram, so I do assume this hate campaign is, in part, revenge for being banned from the telegram chat.
What is more, it has been alleged that a telegram mod (a volunteer chat moderator) 'scammed' the complainant for $1200. In a counter argument, it was said in the community chat that it is actually the complainant here is the scammer, but ironically they got 'scammed' themselves by a vigilante for reasons currently unknown.
Personally, as this has nothing to do with Qubitcoin I don't really care, but it is wrong for this person to now maliciously target Qubitcoin on a feeble effort to try and seek revenge. It is a bit desperate and the allegations from said complainant do not offer a comprehensive breakdown of what happened, and why Qubitcoin holders should care.
What is fact, and publicly verifiable however, is that at least 20 telegram accounts, all of whom had miraculously not been active in the qubitcoin telegram since August 2025 but suddenly appeared again yesterday, one after another, and as the predecessor accounts were getting banned - one by one - due to the Qubitcoin chat becoming a platform for wild allegations...again nothing actually to do with Qubitcoin... Who scammed who is largely irrelevant (bluntly but truly), this has nothing to do with Qubitcoin or the core team at all - they are in fact a team comprised of academics and students from MIT & Vanderbilt, with Harvard educated advisors.
If someone innocent has been scammed, that is awful, but I haven't seen a shred of evidence to show this is the case. If it is proven that the community mod has acted badly, they need to be removed as a mod. That is it.
As to why the alleged victim had so many telegram accounts... who knows... most people have one telegram account.
Anyway, for anyone interested in Qubitcoin... this of course looks chaotic and Qubitcoin should rightly be scrutinized but Qubitcoin's team will soon be at iquhack 2026 at MIT, it will be worth looking into the outcomes.

I actually forgot to mention the alleged OTC scam from the aggrieved. There is a screenshot of their original telegram account offering some kind of inviting bulk OTC deal... possibly legit, unlikely to be. There is verifiable but circumstantial evidence that the complaint is a scammer. I cannot be 100% sure but there is no smoke without fire.
