Nigerians that invested in CBEX Ponzi scheme should not be happy yet because there is no assurance of getting their money back even as EFCC has intervene and are interested to make their investigations about them.
What kind of intervention? The money is gone. I hope EFCC will prove me wrong in this corrupt Nigeria.

Our govt no dey try at all,why Dem no shut Dem down when they were still operating becos I hear say Dem even get physical offices.
Why you dey blame the government, ponzi schemes dey happen in many countries around the world, the government agencies in charge of things like this cannot take down all of them before they steal from people, but there is a general warning that people should avoid schemes like this and protect themselves.

Cbex had a physical office in Ibadan, Oyo state, i wonder if the people who worked there knew they were working for scammers, or were they basically offered employment, but they didn't even know that the hierarchy in charge are scammers waiting to disappear with people's money.
A ponzi scheme can have offices. People should differentiate between ponzi and pyramidal schemes.

I will agree with you here that a Ponzi/Pyramid scheme can have offices everywhere just to pacify prospective customers to invest in their Ponzi. CBEX had an office and  today what happened?, where are they now?. The truth is that people are just being cajoled into doing things because of what they see and they forget to understand some certain principles as it bothers around investment.

Years back in my city there was an organisation that came and they had branches in the state, they claimed to have multiple investment stream to sustain their existence and guess what? It was a family member that brought them and to her consciousness she wasn't in the know that the organisation is a Ponzi with unrealistic promises but after we visited their office and I heard from them directly, I wasn't convinced to go any further. It wasn't upto a month she called me and told me what happened, lucky for her, she has already recovered her capital and it didn't bother her when they absconded but some of her downliners wee be trapped.
