Merit source application

I sincerely wish to render my support in the merit source application of "Mia Chloe", because to be frankly speaking, I'm quite surprised how he seems to have grown so fast on this forum in less than 2yrs and now wishing to be a merit source to reward quality posts, both in our Nigerian local board and the technical discussion board specifically. Which is quite impressive. Because he is an active member of our Nigerian local board and likewise contributed immensely to active meaningful discussion. Which I'm sure he will definitely make good use to reward posts worth meriting, but lacked it.

Without being a merit source Mia Chloe has received a total of 372 merit in the 120 days and has sent 235 merits to other user same 120 days.

This is one user i trust and in support with to be a merit source. I vouch for his ability to be fair and responsible. Distributing merit to quality posts in the Naija local board and specific areas of interest in general board.

Even without being a merit source you have done so well for naija local board, you have been generous in giving out merit right from when I knew you. Kudos for getting the courage to apply even though there has been lots of disappointment from previous applicants but I believe yours will be favoured. I have come in contact with Mia Chloe posts and they're not only impactful but also well organized and I have no doubts he's going to become a good addition as a Merit source to our local board. Theymos has done well for the local board (although I still haven't received an increased after asking several times but I know he knows what's best for the forum). It'll be a thing of joy if our local board gets more additional sources so that the quality posts not getting merited will have a good chance of being merited. I remember your appearance on the forum. Newbie who knew nothing about Bitcoin. Two years have passed, and now you are a Hero Member. A good role model and example for all those sad newbies who reject learning and strive to quickly take a place in a niche they do not want to learn anything about.

I found your expression that can serve as motivation for learning.

Newbies aways try to be inquisitive and take necessary corrections, remember that the easiest way to learn something is to believe you know nothing about it.and hence try to practice it..No one is perfect we all are just trying to get better subsequently.

I support your desire to help the community. As I see it, being a merit source is not an easy task. Finding useful posts that carry knowledge is helping not only the one who creates them but also those who read them. I think you will cope with such a "position" perfectly, although we all must understand that being a merit source is a volunteer job, and we only need to thank people who can and want to give most of their time to the forum, separating the wheat from the chaff.

Being a local board merit source entails reading the local board more and devoting a few hours of your time to reading through all topics.  I noticed you last year and am impressed with your growth and efforts on the local board in such a short period.  It takes a quality poster to determine what makes a quality post.  I fully endorse your intentions to serve as a merits source on the local board..

Mia Chloe is a quality member of our local community, that is the Nigerian local section, Mia also expertly organized a cooking contest in our local community some months ago, which shows a desire to engage actively in the community. Mia Chloe will make a good merit source, as his merit distribution is also good

In reference to the food contest hosted by Mia Chloe during the just past Christmas holiday was such a blooming which collectively was a glance of fun and most admirable event in the Nigeria local board.
The user has also been a generous forum member in a general overview (solution to other members problems especially when it involves bitcoin or blockchain technicalities).
Either he or she as maybe specified has also earned amiable reputations with a good sum of earned merits and so also distribution of Smerits in the Nigerian local board and diverses in the forum at large.

This post needs someone like you who doesn't only think of herself but also the well being of the other members, checking up on members who haven't been active on the Forum for sometime is something I haven't seen done by some of the other applicants but you have it in you just exercise patience and let @Theymos do his thing. I think that there is a need for multiple merit sources according to the activities of the Naija Board so that everyone in our local board gets merit for the deserving posts. In that regard, I think you will be a good talent and will try your best to help deserving people. I often feel your contribution in this forum and in our local board. Especially the competition you organized on the occasion of Christmas was very enjoyable and fun. Although I did not participate there due to religious restrictions.  Mia, for me is a typical example of "consistency pays" and I'm not gon lie, she came into the scene and started showing how much talent she's got and I think that it's not just about applying to a merit source so she can help merit posts that are worthy but I feel her application will also inspire others who feel that this place is very difficult and favors a particular set of individuals to strive to do better.
 I've not been a beneficiary of her merit giving but I've been privileged to work with her on some of her competitions she organized in her local board (Nigerian Local board) and this also shows that she is resourceful. I sincerely support you on your application without being so biased on whom to be given first or not, and if I could remembered correctly, Charles-Tim and Upgrade001 have applied years back and till date we seen no results of approval and of course we took courage to apply as one that doesn't mean we are in anyway competing to each others. However, I am a strict person who doesn't hold anything in mind and like I said I strongly support you on your application and good luck.

Now this is childish. Hell, you make it sound like this was the only thing she did to make herself enter the position she is at now and not as a result of hardwork, resilience and dedication. Is it bad that she was innovative and brilliant enough to create something for the local board to enjoy and benefit from?
 See, this place is a platform where people can come and share their ideas and also learn new things and I've also discovered that the users here and not just book smart but creative as well. It is as a result of this application I'm beginning to notice competition. @smartgold honestly you should try to speak out your mind and not hid them in words. The forum is a free platform, no one is going to bite anyone. I actually don't expect any of both applicants to be on a competition. I still remember the Op @Miachloe being already in his 800 or more merits, if I'm not mistaken before he hosted those contest on our lb. such member literally to me would do quite well in earning even more if he had not hosted such a wonderful event. You both hosted amazing contest on the lb which we are all grateful.

Trying to point out such makes no sense at all.. let's all be moderate here at least, everyone expects a merit source applicant to act like one, which I'm expecting from both @SmartGold and @Miachloe

OP is indeed active on the forum since I always saw op's username most of the time in the forum when I go online. No matter what others may have said but still, you do what you think is best for this forum and for yourself. The decision will be up to the staff if op will become a merit source.

It is possible when you already have learned about bitcoin in another platforms or websites before you joined in the forum. I have seen newbies that does have knowledge about bitcoin. So it's not always what you have said when someone joined in the forum although there are some people who really don't have knowledge about bitcoin who found this forum and started from being a newbie until he/she gains vast knowledge about cryptocurreny.
