We don’t know exactly what the finer details of negotiations are but from an outsiders view, it seems like Zelensky isn’t the most motivated to end the war. He has personally profited from it very much. I think he may have to concede a bit of territory to get this war ended. If he doesn’t then this war will never end & if US stops funding him entirely then EU can’t afford to make up the deficit. Ukraine can not win this war without US support so peace must be agreed.

Trump seems to have made a bad prediction about the willingness of Russian and Ukraine to end the war. It seems more focused on the unwillingness of Ukraine to acknowledge they have permanently lost the territory that Russia has gained.

Your comment about one person being better than another is pretty much meaningless. Certainly the legacy media and their multibillionaire sponsors would have you think Biden is better at managing wars than Trump. But as Trump has said many times, the Ukraine invasion wouldn't have likely happened in the first place if he were the president. So, they'd be wrong in their propaganda on that point. And of course Biden's management of the Afghanistan war was quite obviously poor. So, I think your opinion on Trump vs. Biden is a product of legacy media propaganda.

It was the shart of the deal like always. There should have been peace in Gaza as well, people respecting USA more and all that. Reason we know those wouldn't happen, is because we know he doesn't want to make deals that benefit anyone other but him. His main goal is to desperately seek admiration trough power. So he demonizes and punishes anyone who doesn't admire him. Just like any old narcissist or fascist.

Trump's administration is definitely going to end the war, trust me. I have been following up the matter and progress is being made behind yh scene. The war will end soon. The statement in OP is Trump's usual way of threats, so that the parties involved will be willing to facilitate the peace talk. Hope you understood what I meant.

Remember that Ukrainian president already visited the US and had a close door meeting with Trump which we later heard it turned a disappointed to Zelenskyy, later we also heard about how the Russian president agreed to have a peace talk with Volodymyr Zelenskyy on negotiation terms in which we don't hear anything later form it, while if we could also remember that before the Donald Trump emerged office, there have been speculations that if he won the election, he will use the existing ties he had with Putin in solving the dispute between Russia and Ukraine, but as of this day, nothing has been fruiting over all these, because to shift a ground demands some certain condition to be in place in which non of the parties are ready or willing to comply on any of the laid condition, some of these may not be open to the public, but they are happening within.

This actually makes a lot of sense, since it is in everyone's interest to end this bloody, now-pointless war. Russia and Ukraine have suffered massive casualties, dwarfing the Vietnam War casualties for the U.S., and it's not in the U.S.'s interest to keep this war going, since it could spill out and involve more nations. Russia simply does not have the manpower to keep this war going, with the birthrate as it is. For the U.S., the war has been extremely costly. It's time to end this as soon as possible.

As usual, you have a childish analysis based on wrong and missing information, wrong analysis and basic logic flaws. The first of which is not understanding how Ruzzian government minds have work along centuries.

The trigger of the war is not EU and has never been, it was - according to Putin, because that is not true either - NATO.

1 - Firstly, let's speak about the cost for the US: It is even less than 1 GDP point (around 0.8%). It is a ridiculous cost compared to having Ruzzia wasting their arsenal - which in many cases cannot be replaced like for like.

2 - Putin has stated many times that the EU is not a problem because is an economic alliance. He has however stated he does not want to have NATO in Ukraine. Putin is not scared of Europe, he is scared of the US.

3 - Europe is perfectly looking after its interests - namely not having Ruzzia too close  (other than Konisberg) and with a good chance of invading EU countries nor getting too close to doing so. Having Ruzzia in that situation means spending much more money in keeping a big military deterrent and possible having Poland getting some nukes of their own.

Ukraine is the best place where EU can put the funds to defend itself preventively. Ukraine is a large country, willing to fight and now with years of practical experience fighting Ruzzia. That is an ally that the EU should gladly support - while getting the finger out and doing something about the EU military capabilities.

4 - Lastly, Ruzzia tends to use Ukraine as a "spare", this includes killing them by famine, sending them to fight Ruzzia's wars, using it as burnt land against invasions... It is simply the wrong deal for Ukraine.

I guess that this is Trump's plan A to end the Russian, Ukraine, war, perhaps the subtle threat can make one of the waring side to shift ground or compromise. It is easier for Trump, to make the underdog in the war to shift ground and it falls on Ukraine, to make that shift, besides Ukraine, is still standing in the war because of the US. I am not quite sure what Trump's plan B will be but if they stop backing Ukraine, the war can end sooner and Ukraine, will take the fall. I don't quite blame Trump, for this move because the longer the war lasts the more it will continue to cost America, and if mighty Russia, cannot shift ground, it has to be Ukraine, this is the way I see it.

the war is not fake. but it has been exaggerated to sound like russia is bombing everywhere and constantly. making it sound like all of ukraine is a warzone and how russia is next going to hit EU.... all for the purpose of making it sound worthy of non-involved countries to need to send funds to ukraine

however a majority of ukraine is actually "business as usual", people go to work, even kids go to school and go home each evening to watch tv or play outside..(just not so much in some of the eastern region)

to note:
this year the uk(my country(facepalm)) signed a 100year agreement to support ukraine and in exchange be part of many deals.. whereby the UK is sending £12bill to ukraine and a deal of atleast £3bill each year for as long as ukraine need military assistance

so the UK is not really helping to suggest the war should end but telling zelenski that the UK will basically keep handing it £3bill minimum for upto 100 years where the agreement is definitely set at a £3bill min until 2030 before they raise/renegotiate the minimum

This is a lesson that we shouldn't trust what politicians say mostly during campaigns. They will always say what people want to hear and not what they can really achieve. Trump knew it would not be easy to end the way but he used his 24 hours war ending promise to end the war to gain support.

He had been able to arm-twist Ukraine, forcing them to accept a resources management deal for war expenses repayment. Maybe the problem now lies in how to handle the occupied territories. Both are tired of fighting but it will still not be easy to broker a deal in such a complex situation. The war will definitely end but nobody knows when.
