A fake news story is circulating on X claiming that Satoshi Nakamoto moved 500 BTC. This is false. The wallets attributed to Satoshi have been inactive since 2010 and have never shown any movement. All Bitcoin transactions are public and traceable — if this were true, blockchain analysts would have confirmed it by now.
Many old wallets are often mistaken for Satoshi’s, but they have no real connection to him. Any real movement from Satoshi would have a major impact on the market, and it’s unlikely he would do it silently.
Experts in the community have already debunked this claim. Don’t fall for sensational headlines — always check reliable sources before sharing.

Satoshi Nakamoto can have many wallets and used addresses and it's impossible to know exactly which addresses belong to Satoshi Nakamoto. It's just our assumption that addresses used in very early Bitcoin blocks belong to Satoshi Nakamoto. A good one for sure - people do love to crave more info anything Satoshi, but what would it bring for them?
Only the knowledge and the fact that they can talk about it on the same socials these questions are asked.

Good point made but I am still trying to understand how this message relates to what you titled this thread, but anyways, thats not so important, whats important is that your message is passed. We all have to understand that there are many newbies in this industry who are yet to understand the real use of blockchain scanners in tracing bitcoin transactions and telling accurately where the funds are coming from, just as you have said, many easily assume or believe that any bitcoin coming from an old wallet that's been inactive for years is Satoshi's, but on the other hand, they may not be wrong too because it's also very possible that Satoshi owns more than one or two bitcoin wallets. Or is there any where Satoshi said or listed the number of bitcoin wallet(s) he owns? And if there is which I doubt, how true can we believe it to be?

People hate mysteries and being in the unknown. You will understand why people are so desperate to know about Satoshi if you look at bitcoin enthusiasts as christians and satoshi to be God. They believe in him despite not seeing him themselves. They all are hoping that someday they will see God while they are alive. This is how a lot of followers of satoshi think. The very existence of Satoshi will give bitcoin more legitimacy and credibility. Obviously this is quite a flawed argument because even without Satoshi, bitcoin works just as fine. Maybe some are also hoping that they will be blessed by Satoshi if they ever find his identity and get an opportunity to talk to him. There is no use. I am putting Satoshi off my mind until he actually shows up (if he ever does).

That's completely right on the part that BTC doesn't need Satoshi as for now - it is its own thing, and it should stay that way, for Satoshi's and BTC's sake alike.

Fake news indeed Satoshi has been away from transaction for a while does not mean satoshi can not move funds from a wallet, moreover, satoshi has wallets which may not be recognised to his identity.
Aside the address used in genesis transaction, can anyone point out transactions relating to Satoshi? No!
What am saying is, in as much as fake news should be debunked, unconfirmed news should not be relied upon, but it is still possible that Satoshi may make an unidentified move too and no one can confirm it was Satoshi's move

Do people still believe that this (or any other similar platform) is a reliable source of news? Even if that news is true, what the hell are you so afraid of when it comes to Satoshi coins? It would be better to worry about coins bought by various companies and rich individuals who don't care about BTC even a fraction of what Satoshi cared about.

We don't need an expert analist to see if satoshi coins move, the blockchain is public data, and if something like that happens the community will know for sure.
And the fact that those coins moves doesn’t mean that satoshi is alive.

So, what’s the connection between Satoshi being alive and something else if it is not confirmed that it is his?
I mean, I don’t know why it would be so important, but we all know that we are thankful for what he did and that he can enjoy his life the way he wants to. I don’t think there’s a benefit to talking about it. It’s just that there’s no sense, in my opinion. It's just a discussion, I guess.

There were clear signs in many early blocks that indicated that Satoshi had mined them in the first X months. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Satoshi continued to mine at least until early 2013 (when ASICs started coming on the scene - assuming he didn't die at some point in there) it is just that no one knows which blocks he did mine. So I would bet that there have been plenty of blocks that Satoshi mined between 2011-2013 (or even 2010-2013) that have been moved and perhaps some sold.
To me, anyone who believes that after Satoshi "went away" that he completely stopped being involved in bitcoin by mining (among other things) is naive. It is merely that any of those blocks could have been mined by anyone so no one can spread FUD about it. :-)

I am happy to see beginners like you are not provoked by issues or slanted news on Satoshi, more beginners should think like you, it looks genius and healthy thinking. Indeed, lately a lot of news about Satoshi, news about the transfer of Bitcoin, Email News and so on, all in Publications in X are not rational if seen, I think Satoshi has bequeathed Bitcoin For humans in this world and I assume he is not on this planet anymore, maybe on the planet that we did not meet, for that stop provoking about Satoshi and Bitcoin.

Same with the "pizza bitcoin" man Laszlo Hanyecz. When you developed or engaged in something cool, saw its growth, how did you can stop your addiction with it entirely. We know Laszlo Hanyecz is still alive but we don't know anything about Satoshi Nakamoto status now, but I aggree with you that if Satoshi Nakamoto did not die, he would have less likely stopped doing things related to Bitcoin.

You have no idea how many people still don't know that Bitcoin transactions are always public, if they know they won't defraud people using Bitcoin, hackers won't stress themselves stealing from a strong centralised exchanges. Many know Bitcoin but failed to understand its features and capabilities, I still believe that Satoshi made the ultimate sacrifice for Bitcoin to work, if the Bitcoin in Nakamoto wallet moves then it is possible that his identity can be compromised. There will be people who will want to know the real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, they won't hesitate to keep tab on his wallet.

I think the title of this thread should be something like "is Satoshi nakamoto alive"? Because the topic of discussion doesn't correlate with the body. From my observation and research I am convinced that Satoshi nakamoto is anonymous which means he may be alive or death. And during the early days of Bitcoin, many people receive alot of Bitcoin in their wallet. and it is possible for someone to send 1k to 10k Bitcoin and may not be Satoshi nakamoto. It's just unfortunate that people go as far as thinking that any larg Bitcoin transaction is done by Satoshi. Many old wallets are often mistaken for Satoshi’s, but they have no real connection to him. Any real movement from Satoshi would have a major impact on the market, and it’s unlikely he would do it silently.
Yes people mistake Satoshi for any large transfer, but if it happens that Satoshi comes out to sell his Bitcoin, I don't think it will have any impact in the market, because Satoshi as a kind of sensitive person, he will not sell all or large number of Bitcoin to dump the market otherwise people will notice his present in the market.

Propaganda usually spread faster that truth especially on social media where people say anything want without any real fact or data that proofs the authenticity of what they are saying. How are we even sure that Satoshi is still alive, that he has a family or that he is very old right now and not keen on the millions of Bitcoin in his various addresses. Satoshi didn't create Bitcoin for himself alone and the possibility that he will wake-up one of his wallets any day is rare. He knows that if he does that, it will dump the market and cause the government to shift attention to him, that's what I think.

This seems to me like an attempt by manipulators to influence the market by spreading false news that Satoshi is alive and moved 500 BTC. We all know that the Bitcoin market is very sensitive; as such, news like this, whether fake or authentic can have a significant impact on Bitcoin's price because there are always some immature traders or investors who FOMO and experience some degree of FUD evertime there is a news circulating.
I'm glad that people are no longer moved by the Satoshi identity or existence narrative. If not, there would have been fake narratives flooding the internet by now.
We don't need Satoshi for now, and we don't need to help manipulators spread fake news. Let's always verify the information we see on any platform before sharing it with others.

I have recently made up my mind to debunking any news about Satoshi Nakamoto because with so far news has been speculating about him here and in the media especially in the X platform, non of the rumours had been made hold proven. So I have literally given up to informations about that address "Satoshi Nakamoto" while the credit of him for inventing bitcoin is undeniable.
