People like excessive prediction without having any fundamental or technical analytic reason. I am expecting bitcoin not to go more than $150000 but this is from my analyses and not just prediction. Although I think slightly lower in price than that. I noticed people predict too low price for bitcoin when it is falling and higher price for it when it is rising.

Bitcoin is expected to get to $200,000 with the rate its going. Although it has been dwindling, a time will come when the ATH will might even surpass the $200k benchmark. it all depends on the institutional investors, traders, whales, new investors and old ones as well. Bitcoin is becoming more global by the day and even third world countries are really keying into this. Also, it is Bitcoin against the rest of the cryptocurrencies that is, the altcoin. its actually going to get to that price and i am looking forward to this.

It really depends on demand since supply is fixed.  At each price there are people willing to sell, but as more and more is purchased to hold (e.g. such as a treasury asset) the amount available at a particular price will decrease.

yo op digging up this old thread huh wild how back in april we were all hyped for 200k by eoy and now with just over a month left were sitting way below that after the dip sucks but hey markets volatile af always has been

thing is predictions like dave the waves sound dope when everythings pumping but reality hits different no one saw the fed drama or whatever else tanked us this hard end of year profit taking plus weak hands panicking on every fud rumor yeah 200k aint happening this year imo but who knows btc loves surprising us could spike hard if some big catalyst drops like more countries stacking or etf inflows going nuts again

long term tho still bullish zoom out and its clear the trends up dont chase highs just dca and hodl through the noise thats the real play not these yearly targets classic prediction vibes

Yeah, the answer is - and always has been: no one knows.  It is all guessing and when enough people are predicting a price of X, surely some will be right at the right time, solely due to dumb luck.
