What does this website do?
This website can be used to monitor if your system is working and is connected to internet. In case your system freezes/ gets disconnected from internet/ crashes and shuts down etc. you will get an email alert to check your system.
How does it work?
Just enter a system name and your email address where you want to receive alerts if your system goes down and press 'start monitoring'. If this is your first time you will receive a email to verify your email address and system name. Click the link in email and your details will be verified. Now press 'start monitoring' and monitoring will start. Do not close the webpage.
When do I receive alerts?
In any situation when your system becomes disconnected from the internet you will receive alert which may be due to system freezing/crash/internet disconnect etc.
How do I stop monitoring?
Just press the 'stop monitoring' button or click on the link received in the alert email.
Can I monitor multiple systems?
Currently only one system can be monitored through one email address. We are working on monitoring multiple systems through single email address and will be available soon.
Can I change system name?
Yes, just enter a new system name and press 'confrim' in the displayed dialog box. A email will be send for verification, just click on the link in email to verify and start using new system name.
