Having $300 to invest in bitcoin is good and if you can continue buying more bitcoin overtime using DCA strategy will be better. Maybe, you shouldn't lump sum all yiur $300 once into bitcoin.

It might be wise, if you scatter your $300 into various weeks using the DCA accumulation strategy so that you can buy at various price intervals since we don't know how the market will be in few months. Just my own suggestion and I am not an expert.

Its kind of pointless to ask questions like this, dont you think?  Nobody has a crystal ball to predict Bitcoin's price. "Holding on" generally means believing it will go up in the long run. If someone needs to spend $300k worth, they will spend it when they need it. There is no set "wait time".

If you dont really need the money right now, why not split it and sell just half of your bitcoins? That way you will have it both ways, sort of.

To hold on to bitcoin is an expression for me which means to never doubt bitcoin and won’t sell anytime soon since I have high hopes that the price will still hit its new all time high. If that's the target that you have, it's already a lot of money that you'll able to live a better life so why not sell?
