I have a different version of who the real gambler is and unfortunately is not as good as the one you are describing here. For me the true gamblers are those who play with a lot of money, are heavily involved and they feel what they are doing, best example of this are the streamers on different streaming platforms together with people that deposit a lot of money, this is the true definition of gambling for the simple reason that if you look gambling in dictionary it says "dare to be bold and challenge your fortune" something of this sort and people who play little money are not challenging anything, they are just having some fun.
