OP, you talk of Bitcoin wen price touched $40k like two years ago and you dey feel bad sey you nor buy then. How you wan make those of us wey meet am at less than $800 in 2017 com feel na 🙈. Anyway, I nor feel bad then not investing bc d block nor dey dat time to enta Bitcoin. I just bought a few altcoins then take hold body. Most of dem did well but my naivety nor let me cash out then. I dey wait make dem lambo like Bitcoin but na lie.  Na so dem crash for my eyes to almost zero.

D wan wey I dey feel bad not keeping na BNB, not Bitcoin. I bought BNB wen e dey around $0.3 in 2017 but sold off wen e touch $3. Chai! I nor wan even think am again sef. D thing dey headache me anytime I rememba am.

You don’t have to wait till the bear season before you’ll begin to accumulate bitcoin. You can start buying using DCA method and by the next bull run when you’re expecting for your investment to have grown, you would have gathered a reasonable amount of bitcoin by then. If you don’t want to buy now and wait till the bear season, you may have used part of the money or all, as you won’t be able to save those money and keep till that time.

Am talking about myself here, I feel no regrets because I started my Bitcoin investment very late, because it would be stupid of me to invest in something I have no knowledge on, and base on the fact that the opportunity is still there to be utilized, why would I feel regretful?
I have a code of conduct when making a financial decisions when it comes to investment, and one of those code is i must have a very good knowledge of what am getting myself into, so if I didn't invest them because I lack knowledge then, I don't think I should be regretting because I knew nothing about it then, so I did the right thing by not getting involved blindly, the only way I will feel regretful now is if I do not invest in it after knowing all the benefits attached to Bitcoin investment.

There's no doubt about that. Yes Bitcoin is a new technology that people should take advantage on in anyway they could possibly understand better, either investing or trading.  Although the investment aspect of bitcoin is better than trading but the fact that everyone doesn't want the same thing, some people will not invest in it, they will rather trade it and few others will not join cause it's volatile.

Whenever i see someone suggesting Bitcoin trading/gambling, my advice to them is always the same, and that is to avoid trading by all means. Yes there are people who are professionals in trading and are probably making good profits from it, but that doesn’t mean that it reduces or eradicates the potential risks associated with trading. Yes even Investing has its own potential risks, but it’s in no way associated with trading/gambling.

And the sooner we start to realize that Bitcoin as a long term investment is more than just an avenue to make quick profits, then the better for us. A lot of people who had the chance to buy and trade bitcoin in the early days of Bitcoin are probably still probably doing the same thing today. There’ll always be a huge difference between a long term HODLer and a short term trader, irrespective of the fact that it’s the same asset, the result would definitely be different.

Those your friends are lucky the price of Bitcoin appreciated after they bought it because reverse would have been the case because Bitcoin is a volatile asset, we can not easily predict what will be the next movement direction. Moreover, it appears those your friends are traders or gamblers because buying and selling within a short period of time is recognize as trading perhaps they should have hold and keep on investing to grow there portfolio so that in 4-5 years time they will have something great in return. Anyone who do not want to regret while investing in Bitcoin should invest for long term because profit in a short term is not certain.

It’s normal to feel regret when an opportunity is missed you begin to question yourself “why didn’t I do this, why didn’t I do that?”. A lot of people regret not investing earlier especially those who knew about it in the early stages who didn’t believe in the project for one reason or the other. 100k could just be the tip of the iceberg.. the past is gone focus on building for tomorrow. Same input as everyone, never too late to do all this things, but yeah it could be painful paying more for coins you could have gotten cheaper earlier but don’t forget you could still pay double to get same coins in the future, better late..
That being said said, it works along with patience and believe, for something to be great, you just have to believe in it .. Hold and contribute to the bitcoin’s growth, without patience and belief you might end up selling, it’s your choice and your investment anyways but never feel regret over your past decisions, just find a way to correct it

I never regretted not Investing into bitcoin earlier because there was no money to that then since bitcoin investment is not what we should invest with the money we can't do away with.

There is no point killing or worrying yourself why you didn't buy Bitcoin in it's early days when it was cheaper. No time is too late you can begin to buy at any given time. If you regret why you didn't buy Bitcoin when it was $40k then what will you say about Bitcoin price in it's early days of less than $1. So  don't keep thinking about the past but focus on the future because the future HODLs more opportunities. You should start accumulating now, and stop thinking about the past.

 

Sure, Bitcoin is a great coin and you can't predict it, so i think they is not regret on not investing in bitcoin dose early days. the price will always increase and you will get profit anytime you have enough funds to invest. Many people don't really know about Bitcoin when the price is low, so don't think you regret. just invest now and leave it in the next 3 to 4 years am sure will get profit over it because bitcoin always raise for the long term.

You can remain there and continue to regret or rather start today and take actions in getting your self enough bitcoin. With the current status of bitcoin, in a couple of years thats when people will begin to regret. It's still very early to begin asking your self why you hadn't invested. Again bitcoin has proven it's self times without number that it's the best cryptocurrency out there. It doesn't matter how much you start with right now. If you can stay consistent with your investment and continue to add more to your stash in a couple of years you would be happy you did.

One can only feel regret whereby they have the resources and ignore to invest when it was way too good or you had a knowledge about Bitcoin and refuse to pay attention but all the same you can never turn back the hands of time, ,you can start investment at any time and not do well in the past full of regret , there is no point of getting worked up over the past , it’s an experience that have shaped you to the future and thought you how to embrace every opportunity, so start now and hold and it’s never too late to start Bitcoin investment ,  the price will alway increase and one can still get a tangible profit , so there is no need to panic or feel regret .

A lot of people regret why they refuse to invest in Bitcoin when it is still in the lowest price range. That’s why even those who still invested with a little amount of money are also regretting it, because they were not expecting that Bitcoin would be able to reach this kind of price point since all the time the market was red they didn’t see any sign of a pump.

But those that invest with the little amount of money they have during that time, I still do not blame them since they say we should invest with the money that we can afford to lose. @op My situation is the same as yours. I heard about Bitcoin in early 2023. But I didn't have the courage to invest in the new situation. But to be honest, when I saw Bitcoin, everyone told me about it and regretted it. Because at that time the price was only 29 thousand. At that time, experts advised me to invest for a long time. But I didn't start investing like a fool. Later, when the market started to grow. That's when I realized what I had lost.

I learned from my own experience that good times don't come often in people's lives and when they come, 80% of people don't understand. And people's regrets about the price of Bitcoin will last forever. In the future, new people will come and say one day that I saw the market at 107 thousand. Regrets If I had started investing then, maybe I could have gotten good returns today. So in my opinion, there is no point in wasting time regretting.
