How do you use the forum?

I have a job that makes me to be too busy and whenever I close from work I feel so tired, and I don't even have the energy to login my forum account. The only time I'm free is on weekends and my family is large, if even you want to do something else you may get distracted.

I want to know how you use the forum. Can you engage in forum discussion when you are in the midst of people that your attention can be called at anytime.  Or you use the forum when you are free alone, like in the midnight when every where is quiet.

Because I know some forum discussion needs critical thinking and if you are distracted it can decline the quality of your discussion.

Well, I think everything about this life is decision. Once you are determined that this what you want to achieved despite any place you are can never stop from achieving your goal. Because to be honest with you each and everyone of us here have different types of works aside this Bitcointalk forum, but we still make out time and contribute in the forum. However, I think is left for you to take a decision because everything about this life is determination, person most work hard first before thinking of earning money, more especially in this Bitcointalk forum.

The forum shouldn't be treated like something that you have to do, even if you don't have time. It's a place where you come when you have time to spend here, and that simply means that when you are in the middle of something, or if people surround you, you are not supposed to be here, making posts or taking part in discussions. If you think you have the time to spend on something, you can visit the forum, read around, and make some posts if you think it's necessary. Remember, it's not important for you to always post unnecessarily.

So, no, you shouldn't be using the forum in the midst of doing something else, you shouldn't use the forum if you are spending time with your family, and it will make things easier for you if you don't treat this forum as a task that you have to do. Make it a hobby, and you will have more fun learning and taking part in discussions.

It actually depends on you OP nobody can in real life application tell you how to manage your time. It's actually up to you to ration everything you wish to engage in to fit your schedule. Of course priority does differ and that should help you infact in setting up a proper Schedule.

I don't know about others but for me technical questions I answer and render assistance for isn't something I rush to research first and requires time for me to spill the beans except I'm busy and don't have the time to answer.

You can stay online but not make posts just do your reading, if anything warrants your write up in a thread, then you can keep your draft open with little chance you get put in some text, it must not be in a straight go, your drafts can be open for long until you complete all your write ups.

Posts that require critical thinking can be kept till you have free time to spare, as long particular thread is open you can share your opinions on the subject when you get home or during your break hours. You don't need to spend your working hours wrongly, especially when you're being paid by your employers for your services during those periods.

Op life is all about priorities. If you truly wish to learn from this forum I believe 30 minute a day isn't gonna be a problem for you to create. Sometimes the brain plays its tricks by giving us signals to abort studying or reading resourceful things especially when you're not getting any external at the moment from what you're doing. If you  can get enthusiasts about bitcoin it'll  be easier for you to relate and find the forum Interesting to interact with by creating a spare time even if it's less than an hour a day. U don't necessarily need to make post before your learn from the forum, you can spend 15 minutes in reading a resourceful post that can help better your understanding, the only draw back is expressing your thoughts back to the post which will require  writing.

I'm so used to the forum that it's the first page I go to whenever I use my PC 
In fact, I've been using forums for at least 22 years as far as I can remember, and it's always been the place I spend the most time when I'm online (I started with game forums)

When I sit down to use the PC in the morning I already check the forum, and then at work I always keep a tab open with the forum for practically the whole day
As I work on a PC (or laptop) I'm always online and I'm always here hehehe

The only time I use the forum less, or can go a whole day without using it, is when I'm traveling because the mobile experience is a bit difficult to post on
But it's something that should never be a burden, or that you have to be forced to join, I'm always here because I like to talk about cryptos which is what I like and enjoy doing the most

It takes a lot of reading to be more active in the forum. If you’re easily distracted, you’re not likely to learn much here, to be honest. You need to make some changes, maybe use your mobile phone, find a quiet place like a library, and focus on reading. As a newbie, that’s very important if you want to become a valuable member here.

The forum actually offers a lot of opportunities, so just take your time to dig around and discover things for yourself.

As you said, I use the forum more often when I have free time, and it is true that it is more often at night or in the middle of the night, because it makes me feel calm without any disturbance, especially the calmness of the sound is much better than during the day. But I think it all depends on each individual, because someone may feel calm and not disturbed in the morning or afternoon. So for yourself, I think you know better when the right time for you to use the forum, and it should not interfere with your work time either, because I think work requires professionalism.

I don't think any of us follows an instruction manual to use the forum. We just do casually whenever we are free or whenever we feel like. It's not that we have to be present here at all the times, no! Just as many of us including me uses social media sites like facebook, twitter to read something or get updates, the same goes with the forum. Personally speaking, I'm so used to the forum that the first page is bitcointalk. I have so many tabs open related to btt that sometimes the browser starts to lag! And it's just how it is.

Well I face this tight schedule because of work even down to a Saturday
I post when I'm free and feel comfortable
I can't force myself to post if I don't feel like or found no topic that interest me.

Just take it like you online with friends on whatsapp, so you have no need to sleep in it.

Our busy schedule prevents us from spending time on the forum. It seems that almost every user has such a busy schedule. I spend time on the forum at the end of my busy day or at the beginning of the day. There are many important discussions about Bitcoin investment in the forum. I get investment ideas from these discussions and try to move forward with my future action plan. I am a Bitcoin investor and accumulation regularly. My plan is long term so I have to spend my busy time at work to build the future. I believe that the value of Bitcoin in the future will be higher than investors expectations so I continue to accumulation from my disposable income every week or month.

It will be interesting to know how other users use the forum. In my case I have the rule that I won't write in the forum while I'm at work, even if I usually have some free time that I could use to post without anyone surrounding me knowing it (my colleagues use WhatsApp, read the news and even social media).

So I usually post when I'm on my way to or from work, or when I've already come home and can relax. That's why I sometimes use my smartphone, which is not the most convenient, but I can write longer and more elaborated posts when I'm at the computer keyboard.

However, everyone with their own stories, so even if you hear others stories you might not be able to be like them, like you said earlier that your family is large. Actually the point is, even though everyone tells you how they do it, you still need to make your own decisions on how you make up time for the forum. I also close late from work, but how is do it is that whenever I get free time I use it wisely.

Definitely we all cant have the same time on engaging the use of the forum, we definitely have to attend to other things about life, such as work, family and any other thing that may require our attention, that been said, we also have to understand how we can manage ourself and time, this makes me to recall of scale of preference and how we can itemize all our to-do list in their order of priority, which makes it that anything that is of value to us, we are going to create time for it, no matter our deep schedules except we have no interest in such.

You have to create out time for the forum if you really want to be active here. I could remember when I just registered as a newbie, I was finding it difficult to create time to surf the forum. Later, I became eager to learn here about bitcoin and how things are done in the forum. At midnight, after I have eaten and lie on my bed, I give myself one hour extra to stay awake and surf round the forum. As time passes on, I became more addicted to the forum. I cannot read and understand when my siblings are distracting me.

The fact is that nobody has enough time; some people only spend a little time in the forum. Many members here are very busy out there but still make time for the forum, so you too. I feel like that should be what you can do. As long as you are here to make a contribution and also learn in the forum, you will create time for it. You can’t say the full 24 hours; you are always busy.

Even if it’s part of the time you want to rest, you can still create at least some hours of your resting time to engage in discussion in the forum, and I think that is how it should be because if you say you must have enough time before you can engage in the forum, then believe me, you will see it is difficult to engage in discussions here. So it’s something you like to do. You can create time for it.

 It's not easy, I'd admit but then again you can make it work. I'm sure at your place of work, you aren't just tasked with one job but you tend to carry on others, so I feel the same way you compartmentalize at your real job is the same way you can do here and you'd see it isn't as hard as it looks.
 Another thing that makes you somehow tired to come here is the fact that there's no real motivation to be here because I'm assuming that if you were in a signature campaign, this sort of issue will not be experienced since you'd definitely find a way to work around it.

Most of us are busy with jobs on weekdays, while on weekend there is lot of stuff already piled up. If you are determined to make full use of this forum then you have to spend some time daily on this forum, without that it's difficult to progress here. As OP is saying he is too busy to spare time on weekdays and on weekends, in that case he should try to give what maximum in a day he can spare for the forum like 15 to 30 minutes. There is lot of quality stuff available here to read or follow, once you get familiar with the forum it becomes an addiction to see this forum daily.

On my previous job, I had plenty of time to browse and post during work hours, being in front of a computer also assisted in that. Now that I've changed jobs and I don't have this convenience, I'll mostly access the forum in the evenings, after 19:00 or 20:00, when I'm cleared of most of my personal jobs and have time available. This forum shouldn't pressure you, browse when you have free-time, there's no need to rush things, I'm also way more active during the weekends, but weekdays aren't as easy.
