Has anyone else noticed this unusual behaviour?

As the title says, has anyone else noticed this? I'm confused because the user, Bitcoinsummoner, has posted applications in almost every single available campaign thread in the Services section, even when they clearly say they are CFNP; and, he didn't even spare the ones that are paused or suspended.



Is it desperation or what? Even a newbie would be able to notice that the campaigns are closed or paused, and they aren't supposed to apply, but he, being a Hero member, is behaving strangely.

Unless the original owner of the account has given direct access of his account to someone else to use it, but the odds for that aren't that high, imo.

Maybe the person just want to troll because it is not a woke up account and he has been posting since he woke up in January 2024. Or maybe the account was hacked.

What I think more is that the account may be controlled now by someone that does not know about Bitcointalk and being in haste of making money.

You do not necessarily need to change passwords to sell an account, it can be given away without changing the passwords to reduce suspicion, but you and I know that a newbie activity in the forum wastes no time to manifest, since it is almost impossible for a new guy in this building to attain maturity in propagation just out of the blue. Maybe account was hacked, but my greatest suspicion was that it was sold to a total newbie.

I think something strange is happening with that account, which the real owner of that account is not aware until the hacker commit something that will make the account to be tag or ban, maybe is desperation to see what will come out from the managers of the campaign, because this kind of behavior should be coming from newbie not hero member, that know the meaning of CFNP in every signature campaign.

Well, I don't think there's anything wrong with him applying on a signature campaign but the fact that he applied on a closed and paused campaign means it's either the account is not controlled by the original users. However it's obvious that the behavior is unusual because the account is a hero member which means he knows 80% of the forum if it's to be rated. But at this stage, the managers know what to do about that.

As we see increasing rate of scam, someone can also be foolish not to change the email and password after he bought an account. And also he may not know he should tell the seller to... Do not let me post it for it not to give the buyers complete clue.

That's the confusion. No signs of the account getting hacked or changing hands, but just a strange posting behaviour all of a sudden.

Or maybe the account was hacked.

Maybe account was hacked, but my greatest suspicion was that it was sold to a total newbie.

I'm thinking: wouldn't the first thing a person who manages to hack an account do is change its credentials? You can't even use an account with 2FA unless you change the email because it can be reset using the email, unless someone has used an invalid email for the account.

The reason I would not agree to this is simply that if this account was given to a family member like you suggested, then it becomes the duty of the giver to control the activities of the new owner and not allow him to make a mess of his account, But this new user is busy posting freely without pause nor caution. I think the real owner isn't even concerned with the account. I just checked and saw that the account has only a merit in 120 days, so it's as good as abandoned.

POV, I think it's not appropriate to give out your account to someone even though it's a family member or a close friend your Bitcointalk account to make a post while you are busy because it's against the forum rules and if caught you will be tagged. The truth is that the amount is not controlled by the original owner because I don't think the owner of the account will apply on any of those campaign when his current one had a higher pay and long lasting (unless his just wearing the avatar and signature), just checked  and noticed he was removed last week.

Have you noticed my reply title? I added OPEN during the reply on this thread. When I have been visiting his post history, I noticed everywhere he applied for a campaign was marked OPEN. I'm just surprised how all these campaigns together become OPEN. Then I discover he has edited the title during his reply. This means he intentionally applied there by editing the reply title. He is very clever, though managers would blacklist him due to that behaviour.

However definitely this is a unusual behaviour. A hero member should know how a signature campaign works. Either he became mad or he is trolling. Managers would report to moderators and add him to the blacklist as well.

What if that's actually the intention behind these activities? Someone got access to the account and decided to end the account's potential like some kind of revenge?

We had see similar cases, when the hacker accessed the account didn't change the email or password but went straight for the loan and flew away with the money, then the real account owners came into aware of this when when they got tag for default loan...

I think he did not edit it because going through his post you can see that all those that are having OPEN has a part it their last page having open for new participants before they were either paused or are closed now, because the user reply at the Shuffle sig campaign thread has the  CFNP.
For this reason I think the account did changed hands, one way or another that doesn't necessarily require the new user to changed the account password or email.

Another fact is that the last time this user made an actual post was on the 25th of this month before he was removed from the Betfury sig campaign, going through the spreadsheet I discovered he is no longer on the campaign and the fact that was the last day the user made a post then the account change of hand might be an intentional act.

Really can tell what exactly I wrong with the account, but my sure guess is that the account is now controlled by a nobe who may have been convinced into buying the account that he get a certain amount from signature campaign asap.


But brt if that is the reality with this case, that means ops have gotten things ready wrong, and in no time the account may get banned for spam and other related offenses.

Earlier on I noticed the same thing, though it was still just with two campaign threads. Little did I know that he would go on to apply in more threads using the same tactic. Just like @The Cryptovator, i noticed that he kept editing the title of the threads from CFNP to OPEN, probably thinking that it would unnoticed.

Campaign managers should probably blacklist his account so that he learns a huge lesson. I don't know if a neutral tag on his profile can do just for future reference.

He is clever indeed. With his level of cleverness, he should be competing with Elon Musk and not to show it in the forum. Many unthinkable things happen in the forum. Does he think that by editing CFNP to OPEN, slots will automatically open in the manager's spreadsheet? What da hell gave him this idea of editing the thread title?

I can't stop laughing over here. It would be hard to convince me that the account is still in the hand of the owner, unless the owner suddenly went mad.

I noticed that too last night. I was actually planning to make a thread about it, but I got sleepy. At first, I thought he was just drunk because he kept applying to campaigns that were already full or even paused.

But now, seeing those "password changed" -  it’s starting to look like he might’ve been hacked.

Saw this as well a few hours before I go to sleep. There are only 3 possible things that I'm thinking why the user did that.

1. The user is desperate enough to spam application posts despite the campaign being either CFNP or PAUSED/FIN.
2. The user is just trolling just to get attention although I don't see the why the user will do it.
3. The account got hacked.

I'm thinking that the 1st one is the more plausible reason, but whatever the case is for that user, it's pretty obvious that he will not get accepted anytime soon. He didn't summon Bitcoin, but he summoned himself just to spam on the "Services" section.

There’s probably a script or the person who hacked or possibly purchased that account just wants to get his ROI back and is unfamiliar with the rules here, showing that it has probably changed hands.

I don’t think he is clever because he doesn’t understand the current situation on a campaign.
