Recently, I noticed there have been an influx of threads being made about luck in gambling. They might be a bit different in context but it still comes down to topic of luck. I only gathered the recent ones but there are still a lot and those are already locked.

I feel that we have already exhausted all kinds of discussion about luck. I have yet to find a new discussion about luck that is actually new. Can this be avoided now or will there always be a wave of users making discussion threads about luck in gambling again?

There can never be anything new about luck in gambling, it will always be a argument between gamblers, some will always accept that luck plays a huge role in gambling while some will always believe that gambling with luck is minimal but strategy plays a bigger role.
I guess many future related topics will show up, it's never going to end, the locked threads have no conclusion in the end, it just seem like some are finding their ways through strategy they claim to work for them while others rely only on luck.
The argument will be back, new users are on boarding gambling space every week and some will lose money, to find answers to why they keep losing will bring up topics about luck, it is what it is.

Well Luck is a big topic, it plays a massive part in gambling whether actual or preception so
I think there will always be people looking to make threads on the topic itself or their personal
experiences.

Going forward what is the goal for anyone creating a new thread about luck, everyone knows
what it is and everyone who is involved in gambling has experienced it.

Its a very simple topic, it doesnt need to be explained, there isnt anything new to add other than
everyone's personal stories.

I would say that topics and discussions on or about luck will still emanate in the future. Why?  because as time goes on, topics about it would be on pages far behind, and nobody would want to raise old issues again, but to start up a new topic. Not only that, people who have no idea that such a topic existed would create a new thread for such discussion, and sometimes the content of their thread would somehow convey a new message quite different from the previous ones already in existence, and that might be their own experience, which would also attract more engagements with other members sharing their recent experience and contribution of knowledge to the discussion. Note that in every discussion, there are people who learn from them, so no topic of discussion is a waste of time, because what you see as a waste of time might be something new to learn from by other people with little or no experience.

It is better such thread is avoided for now. I mean people should not post such topic, but if there is a thread like that, people will post there to fulfill their weekly signature posts. But I am tired of such threads for now.

If you ask if such topic will continue to be posted on this gambling board, yes it will continue to be posted. Even if they stop posting about the topic now, they will resume posting about it later.

Luck is a key factor in gambling and it cannot really be overemphasized even though a lot of topics about are already on the discussion board doesn't mean that all the things about it has been said. As time goes on people would still have more ideas to share about it, more questions to ask and more points to be added to the existing topics on luck. Luck in gambling is a side topic and because of how inseparable gambling and luck are it would always be talked about.

I can agree that of recent we have exhausted different angles and areas of luck and gambling discussions, it think that it'll be nice to give it a breather. But we shouldn't expect that threads that centers on luck and gambling wouldn't always come up sometimes because they're part of gambling discussions. I think that we can expect more of similar threads from newbies who might start a topic without knowing what it has been extensively discussed. I think that it's best to ignor such topics if you feel that it's not worth your time and perticipation in the discussion.

Luck and Addictions are very essential topic to regularly discuss over here, and you can't talk about gambling without including these two things, and of course it's a two major factors that makes gambling discussion interesting. Okay, when talking about responsible gambling you must end the discussion with addiction or luck so I don't see any reason why discussions about luck should be limited, and if you look about all the threads apart from leagues discussions all are almost the same.

I mean its a topic that has no clear cut ending because of how luck is in essence something you believe in for it to exist. If you don't, then it's just a never ending goose chase of discussions around it. And even then since luck itself is a reaaaly vague factor, it's a topic that's pretty easy to talk around with

Gambling can't be talked about well enough without including luck, the discussions about luck can't be exhausted, it would always bring up constant threads and debates in the future. As people start their gambling journey in the forum they would be curious to know some certain things that haven't been explained in all the topics you highlighted. Definitely more discussions on this important aspect of gambling will surfice. The debate between luck and skill will always be brought up.

I understand people bringing up a topic that may have been posted in the past but if you see the threads I have included, two of them were posted in the month of april and one is posted during the month of march. At the time, we may not remember that it was already posted but then you see people replying to the past threads and realize that it has been discussed already. So now we have two or more threads where people are discussing about luck at the same time. I have no problem if someone discusses about luck as long as they have additional information that has never been discussed before.

In my view luck is a very big rollercoaster. If you keep riding (playing) the train, you will eventually hit big wins but there are also many losses ahead. Isn’t life itself similar? We all have our ups and downs till our last day on earth which is a permanent down day… That’s why I think are making a big mistake when they get obsessed with winning. If you want to win all the time start a successful business instead of gambling but people often don’t like this idea because it requires real work. Everybody wants something for nothing.

There will always be discussion about luck because it is associated with gambling due to its randomness and unpredictability. Whenever you see a post about discussing how to profit from gambling and how to gamble responsibly, the subject of luck will always come up, so get used to it.

We always have to remind new gamblers of the risk of gambling and the way to remind them is by pointing out that gambling is a game of luck and casinos are a platform of entertainment.

As you said luck will never end to be discussed. Regardless of ending in the same conclusion but some small details when distinguishing between playing with luck or playing full in skill-based gambling. Because in gambling the 2 categories will still be able to mix with each other as long as the gambler does not have the ability to position themselves. We cannot control those who come to express their luck or skills when opening a gambling discussion.

The idea that luck is the most essential factor in gambling is still not universally accepted. More discussion about luck will be brought up in the future because it is believed that luck in gambling is in a timeline of myths and hypothesis. Every gambler has his or her own believe in gambling across different country and ethnicity.

Generally gambling outcomes is out of randomness, at some point we might get a winning streak out of random luck and at that time our perception about luck might change as well.

Well, there is nothing wrong with expressing oneself if it looks similar to others, though, because if there is, the moderators would have gotten it deleted so fast, as I noticed they are very much active lately. Besides, each of the luck posts comes with their perspective and personal experience, which I would not hold against the OPs of those threads, as it is natural for such occurrences to happen, and I think you should know that as humans, we would want our topic to be a subject of discussion as the case may be. This trend is something we can hardly get rid of on this platform except if a fine is attached to it then it would reduce but the truth is that many people would still be a victim of it.

Luck is always incorporated in every possible way on gambling while this is a gambling discussion board so we can’t avoid discussing it in repeat.

Same logic on sports discussion. Why do we need to open same sports thread that only varies per league, Answer is there’s a different scenario being discussed on each thread despite having same sports topic.

I think this post should move on Meta board because this is already related on the forum not on gambling.

I wonder how we active in the gambling section are going to do that; even if there's no topic or thread about luck, it will always be mentioned here in the gambling section, unless the admin censors the word luck.

As long as it's a different topic about luck, I'm sure our imaginative mind will come out with one or more times. We have to admit that that the word and discussion about luck contribute to a normal discussion; it's associated with gambling and a reminder to be a responsible gambler.

And you forgot to include this thread, or is this one any different from those other threads you mentioned to be discussions about luck? What then is this one about bud?

Anyways, all I have to say here is that discussions are never exalted in any topic, many of the people participating in that discussion may likely be saying the same thing, some in different context, but then, there will always be some one who makes that meaningful comment regardless..
And besides, this is a forum that is with very active users, it is normal to expect such things on forums like this, topics coming up for discussion doesn't have to always be 100 percent fresh, there will always be times when many people will talk about that same thing in different mode and from different angles and perspective, it's absolutely normal if you ask me..

There's always a bigger picture about luck and strategy that we can almost not explore them all in our living duration and gamblers are always trying out different patterns to elude dependence in luck which it's sustainability on a long-term proves it valid or just narrows it down to luck.

Yet it's always good to discuss the variations to create an avenue to inform those yet to explore it about the experiences of others so they can learn and also create a kind of community support for those currently stuck and those recovering from the negative effects of their experiments , or celebrate with those who kind of succeeded while we evaluate their success stories to either luck or sustainable strategies.
