That's what I’ve been thinking lately because it seems really hard to win in gambling, no matter what game we're playing. In the long run, we still lose. So, I think this is our fate, instead of aiming for ultimate happiness through winning, which seems almost impossible, what’s achievable now is just making our bankroll last longer than expected.

So how about you? Are you happy with that, or are you ambitious enough to aim for a big win, and maybe long-term success?
Sorry but I am not happy with my bankroll just lasting longer, what is the essence of this or benefits aside playing games for a longer time? And bankroll lasting longer also depends on a lot of factors, like....
1. How you deposited
2. How much you are spending on each bet
3. Whether they are winnings coming in from time to time to improve your bankroll with.

If for example, you deposit $10 and decide to bet $0.5 on each game you play or bet on, without any winnings to improve this amount, you will lose out the $10 even before you know it.
So, for me, I prefer to look for the big win, doesn't matter how long or short my bankroll last, I gun for the big win and that's just it.
To get a big win, you have to take a lot of risks, but I'm not ready to do it quickly. Of course, you can go to the casino and bet the entire amount on red or black, and if we lose, we'll go home sad, and if we win, we can also leave happy, but will we be satisfied with the game? I think no one will, so I distribute the bets so that my deposit is not lost very quickly, even if I catch a series of several losses, but at the same time the win should not be too small, so I find a balance for the bet that will satisfy me. In addition, this allows me to enjoy the game and the process, and this is one of the main things for me in betting.

My first big win came a few years after I first started gambling. Can you imagine how long I had to wait? How many losses I had to endure? Not everyone can go through that. No, it’s better not to wait for a big win, but to enjoy the moment spent in the casino. This is, of course, my purely personal opinion on this matter. Everyone has their own vision and understanding, as well as financial opportunities, which play a key role.

My worry is how the big win disappear in a twinkle of an eye, as though it was used to pay off for all has been lost and then everything returns to normal. The gravity is just too tough to control, it could be balanced.

Realistically, (unless that big win he is talking about was something out of proportions) then such a win would likely cover the losses he had for a long period of time since he started to gamble actively. In the majority of the occasions those wins are not proportional to the losses suffered from the beginning (since the moment of the first session till' today), so still the casino holds a positive balance against the gambler.
Honestly, I am okey with people who get excited when they get a pretty good win on their favorite casino, even though they still are in red numbers in terms of their whole history with gambling, it is better to be oblivious of losses and just enjoy the experience and the thrill gambling can give to each one of us in the form of entertainment.
Being aware of always being in red numbers is something which would definitely discourage anyone and even push them into loss chasing. Exactly the opposite one is supposed to do on a casino.

I believe that expecting less and being thankful of small things is one port to happiness.
At first glance it looks like it would clash with idea of "manifesting" something or aiming high, but i don't think it does.

It's different to feel entitled to something (for example) than hoping (or manifesting) for something. When you feel entitled, then you feel like it's robbed from you when you don't get it.

But in short, if it makes you happy, just enjoy from it. I know the feeling, because i sometimes just want to play, even though by risking all with one bet, i probably had bigger changes to win more. There's a change that fun is over with one bet as well. If i gambled purely for money, it would be just more efficient to place only few well thought bets.

How to be entitled in gambling?   Smiley

Well, I don’t really think that way. Maybe you meant being overconfident? When I was new (and a bit naive), I used to think like that too. But after losing enough, I realized it’s never easy to win in gambling.

Even the pros are happy with small wins, as long as they’re wins. The problem is, most of us aren’t realistic. We dream big but have a tiny bankroll not exactly a winning combo. That’s why we end up losing

I am happy if I can see I still have some money in my account. That means I can continue gambling in the other days without depositing more money. That will save me from spend more money in gambling so I can hold the money for other things. No, I don't feel too ambitious to aim for a big win because I know that will not easy for me. Rather than chasing the win, I feel it is better to enjoy the games and have fun with my free time. That keep me aware with the problem that may occur in gambling so I can avoid it.

An effective bankroll management can make your bankroll last for a long period...this is because you are staking low and not using the martingale system, one way that you bankroll can easily be exhausted is when you start chasing your losses.. having fun with the game is better than being obsessed with winning, gambling most times is based on luck and we must always remember that luck is something that cannot be forced to happen.

Managing bankroll in gambling, means, you know when to stop and proceed with your games. If you already incurred so much amount of losses, you may consider stopping before you lost it all and regret for playing. As you are only relying on luck, when you are playing on casino classics, you know for sure, that if luck is not on your side, you will be on the losing end.
And besides, a certain amount of bankroll can only go a long way if you will bet small and you are not in a hurry to finish up your game. With the set-up in online gambling today, you can really bet very small but that is, if you have the patience to play as it can indeed extend your stay in the casino. Otherwise, bet big and it can easily wipe out your bankroll.

For me, it is not enough for my bankroll to simply last longer than usual. I do not gamble for fun, I gamble to win, or for research purposes. It is possible that this is some special form of gambling addiction, in which you even enjoy losing, provided that this loss occurs under much milder conditions than before. But let's be clear: you still lose. So you like losing? This is exactly what I have never understood and most likely will not understand. This is what my logic refuses to accept. If you understand that you will lose anyway, then what is the point in continuing to play?

But what is the logic to gamble anyway then, if on distance or statistically all (ok, majority or almost everyone) gamblers lose their money? You say that you dont gamble to win, then I wonder if your all time gambling career total is positive. I am not sure that during your gambling career you have won more than you have lost. So if you keep on losing, what is the point of continuing to play? Or lets suppose your nett is positive. Then if you compare time spent on gambling with time spend working, isnt it that job is more profitable? Then why you still gamble? Maybe because its fun or people love to have feeling of a risk, without having really endangering themselves physically?

For me, a game (any game) is an exercise that makes me better, develops me in one or another area of human activity.

For example, I like to flirt with girls - this is how I improve my communication skills and learn to control my emotions (I learn to smoothly move from one resource psychological state to another resource state).

I also like to play football, volleyball, basketball, I like to ride a bike and swim. All these sports games develop my body, help me to maintain good physical fitness.

I also use gambling for self-improvement - the fact is that in real life I am not very inclined to take risks (I do not like risk). Therefore, gambling helps me learn to love risk. I take risks by gambling and at the same time my behavior patterns in the real world change.

This feeling of risk, excitement and emotional roller coaster is what millions of players want to experience again and again because they like it, to think that they have a chance, even if it is too small, to change their boring life today by winning the jackpot. It excites the mind, even when we want to act rationally, we can give in to emotions and do things that are not typical for us. Even I fully understand that in the long run we are doomed to lose, but I bet for a little fun, but I never allow myself to lose a lot, because for me it is just fun, like any other for other people.

We all just think that betting small amounts will take more time before our funds run out. Keeping this style will not just help to keep our gambling more entertaining, but also be a way to help control emotions. Chasing big wins and losses is the biggest reason why many gamblers find gambling to be stressful. The more they urge themselves to win, the more they suffer losses. And many people don't understand and find it difficult to accept reality because they assume that they will surely get money from here.

Should we for any reason be unhappy at our bankroll when it does not last longer, since we are the same person that have been using it to gamble on varieties of games, or may be we can from now henceforth always consider the way we can effectively manage it to last us longer, when we plan ourself out, it will be sufficient enough for us to use for gambling before the ran out of it, which i don't expect us being unhappy for the same reason, since we have the same right to manage it well more effectively.

On the one hand, reducing the rate prolongs the time of the gambling session for which you can spend the bankroll, but on the other hand, it also reduces the pleasure of gambling. Therefore, every gambler must find a golden mean. When gambling does not cease to bring pleasure and the bankroll does not disappear after a few bets. I have experimented a lot with this but never found the golden mean so sometimes chaotically increase the rate in order to give gambling more risk and therefore emotions.

Yep, you are right. Bankroll management doesn't only mean you should make smaller bets, but it also means you should know and realize when it's time for you to stop and when you should continue. If you are making small bets but aren't stopping even when you have already lost more than 50% of your bankroll, that's not proper bankroll management, but even if you are making bigger bets, but you stop as soon as you lose 20% or maybe 25% of your total bankroll because you know you have been constantly losing, then it means you are doing it the right way.

So many people lose more money than they should in gambling only because they don't stop at the right time, even when they can see that their luck is not working and they are constantly losing money, but they still keep going, with the hope that they might get lucky and get some wins but it doesn't work that way in gambling, sometimes stepping back is better.

Having our bankroll last longer has a lot to do with how we have been effectively managing it, because if we failed to control the emotional behaviours been exhibited by us in some aspect, we could exhaust on everything within a short period of time.

Some gambler indeed don't have issue in managing for their bankroll while some were unable to achieve having maximum control and management, which is part of what differentiates us from each others as gamblers, we all have various challenges when it comes to gambling and managing our bankroll.
