Yes I agree with your sentiment here mate, trading is not for everyone, but that is one thing most people haven't come to terms with, they actually don't know that patience is one key trait all trader must have, but the sad reality is that not every trader has patience.

BTC is now 90902 usd, 0.0035 BTC is 318.16. I have BTC 0.0036294(329.92/318.16).

My investment return is 3.70 %. It could be above average return (for ca 4-5 months, on average) if we were in the stock market, but in the cryptocurrencies context it is really not worth mentioning. Here the significant returns begin from 200%.

I found the "Bitcoin rainbow chart" that is an excellent idea though I am not agree with its implementation - the angle of the curve. He has extrapolated the angle of the BTC price rise curve from the past but this is not correct. I calculated the angle by myself using the BTC nowadays adoption rate (that is 0.5-2%) and the BTC price with 100% adoption in nowadays USD purchasing power (that is 500 000 - 2 000 000 USD). I exploited the prices of the USA dollar and gold as the assets with ca 100% adoption rate.
(In 2010 Hal Finney estimated that the maximum price of the Bitcoin could be 10 000 000 USD/BTC if all the  world assets (worth 100-300 trillion USD at this time) would be converted into the Bitcoin. I admit that in the case of this scenario I am wrong.)


As a result I made my own Bitcoin rainbow chart where we are with ca 90 000 USD/BTC in the darkest orange ("Sell. Seriously, SELL!") territory. 126 000 USD/BTC was even outside the red ("Maximum Bubble Territory"). The "HODL!" territory would be in about 30 000 USD range.

I got 0.001 BTC (worth today about 100 USD) from www.freebitco.in and I plan to make a small experiment with it. I will try, is it possible to increase this initial BTC amount (0.001) with trading: selling then BTC is overvalued and buying then BTC is undervalued.

I believe that Bitcoin will be worth at around million USD in 2040, but meanwhile it will be much much cheaper than today (hundred thousand USD). Is my holding then worth 1000 USD? Or more? Or less?

What I know about bitcoin investment is that it’s less risky compare to when you are trading. If you are holding bitcoin for long term, then the risk is less because you don’t have to be doing any analysis before you invest in bitcoin, if you want to invest just make use of DCA strategy, you have to be investing gradually and you don’t have to monitor bitcoin price before investing.

You're still in profit despite that the market has dipped so much today.

Trading is riskier than investing or holding because what you'll have to do is nothing when you hold. It is interesting that the size of my portfolio (330 usd) is at the moment exactly the same as if we divide the whole crypto market cap by the number the world population. Therefore this crypto portfolio size is the most suitable - not too big, not too small.

We are watching cryptocurrency which is best of all currencies and we are watching AI future and many people are trusting on AI because AI will be powerful in the future and all people will take work from AI but Bitcoin price estimation is not an easy for anyone. People are that BTC will be at the 150k in this year but AI is not supporting that fact and that is looking not real but we saw huge pump in the market in last year but Price decrease is due to wars between different countries and when World will be stable we will see huge price increase and BTC will touch 200k$ . AI is controling all countries and many countries are trust on the AI and artificial intelligence will not be genuine because it is not ideal for many people.

You are right, experience is the best teacher as they said, in which most people learn faster from experience, as it’s important for one to learn from their mistakes and make every necessary change that will support them in achieving their success in trading, because it’s not something that works through magic but by researching and understanding the risks involved and how to also manage them.

It would be more acceptable for a deposit if a trader learns from the mistakes of others rather than his own. But apparently the way a person is built is that he remembers his mistakes better when he has to lose money at the same time, naively believing that this is a tuition fee.
