At cost of giving up on your freedom and privacy, which are no longer features to be promoted by this industry, since they have become empty marketing.

At least we can still choose how we do our transactions. I also hope that we'll get more tools like coinjoin to improve privacy for most users. That being said, better privacy tools mean nothing if people end up sending most of their wealth to CEX IMO. Then again, those tools are there for people who care about privacy to begin with, who probably use other means to liquidate their coins if they need to.

Therefore, in past times this environment was better, more authentic and genuine.

The way you write this makes me think you want the scam to keep existing as part of that authentic and genuine experience, which is probably not, but it's quite funny.

This statistics has just shown that fraud is a universal thing and crypto currency or Bitcoin is not the cause of crime or fraud online before the inception of Bitcoin there has been a lot of fraud that has been going on using different means and sources so anyone attributing fraud to Bitcoin is doing that out of ignorance because one thing that I have seen is that people are only using the potential that Bitcoin offers to deceiving ignorant people are are not well informed about Bitcoin.

Bitcoin wasn't invented with the intention of encouraging scams but to strengthen the need for privacy and a decentralized currency. Without the invention of Bitcoin fraud would had still been a big problem in the world hence people have to stop blaming Bitcoin for the increase in fraud. It isn't the fault of Bitcoin but the fault of poverty and the greedy mentality that humans has because if we're being contended with what we're earning and living below our salary, we won't be greedy and unsatisfied with the lifestyle that we have. Bitcoin isn't the main currency being used for fraud because fiats still has the highest number according to statistics. Bitcoin though can't be isolated from fraudulent activity because of its features that encourage privacy which is what every scammer is in need of.

That would have been the worst scenario, which we are all aware of and they also know as well, but they will always want to project that of crypto than fiat because they are the ones in charge of it regulation and things were more worse there.

When you can't fight it - you discredit its reputation, that's how it is, with BTC or something else new to the world.

For how long are we going to keep being in silence over these, because they are the same leaders who will come out to be for the masses and yet implement what will be in thier own favour as against the people, not supporting bitcoin by government is a display of depriving us of our right, because we are in an era of freedom and should be able to control our finances instead of them doing that for us, the bitter truth is that government don't want anyone of us to progress in using crypto, instead remain tied to fiat system.

FUD is only temporary, but it can create chaos. FUD is meant to be used as a strategy to create a situation of doubt or worry.

I agree with the op, and it's great to have data to support the argument about Bitcoin. Of course, Bitcoin is not the reason for scams — it’s just form of money, and not even the most popular one on the chain for scams.
The real problem is people abusing Bitcoin, just as any kind of money or, more generally, any kind of tool can be abused. We should fight the crimes itself (and deal with their root causes), but not Bitcoin or other systems that give people more freedom and transparency.

There have always been different types of ways that these scammers have been using to scam their victims; what I only see now is some of them just divert their attention to the crypto side, which is where they can find new victims who are not very familiar with their old scam, and maybe they also now have better options to create and scam people with fake tokens and money-doubling options, which were also there when fiat was the only thing.

BTC is just a thing to be backlashed at by those that don't see further than FUD about it.

I also wonder if what he was saying was intentional or intended on someone as a form of attack or so, i don't know, peradventure he finds out this bitcoin community is no longer trustworthy, yet he still remains in an environment like this, or maybe he found out that bitcoin privacy and freedom for every user is not required, we still need more threats from scammers and government, then why still here, why being a community member, or why not embrace fiat as usual and let other lovers of bitcoin, privacy and security rest.

I don't know, but it seems these charts can't stand against careful scrutiny. Most probably, there are leaps and hasty generalizations involved here. Moreover, Chainalysis doesn't have a sterling reputation.

Anyway, looking at the figures in the "share of all crypto transaction volume associated with illicit activity" chart, it appears the propaganda that crypto is a currency of choice for criminals, especially cybercriminals, couldn't be farther from the truth. If that's really 0.14% and not 14%, then it's negligible. It probably isn't worth the resources necessary for government authorities to even look into it. It's a speck of dust compared to fiat's involvement in all kinds of crimes.
