If someone would want to play omaha I would be down, with not so high buyin. If I lose the winner would need to wait until Monday/Tuesday though when the campaign payment hits. Totally good for it.

Well, at some moment I felt like these games are not about the money... they are, but we play with small amounts and we can afford to have more fun & really enjoy the play, at least I think so.

I am partially free tonight, and if anyone is up for a game, I am here... I will add $50 on top of the buy-ins if we manage to find 4 players (including myself).

Ah come on, my man, don’t ever let money get in the way of a good time. I thought I made that clear in my last comment, it's not so much about the money... If it's urgent, I will cover you and you can pay back anytime you want, but I am sure that is not even necessary, others will wait as well. And who knows, maybe you will win and we will have to pay you.

As I said, it's not all about the money, but we can deny it's an important factor... we all play to win. But in any case, I think there is some level of trust among us for a few bucks...

I’m thinking Limit Omaha Hi-Lo instead. I’m in, and I think MV is too,  — we’ll put bounties on our own heads.
The tournament will probably be just 3–5 people, and for those who know how to play Omaha — like me and MV — we’ll put up a bounty equal to the buy-in. Though we can still discuss the exact bounty amount. Not sure if AHOYBRAUSE plays Omaha, but I think he does. Anyway, the idea is that anyone could win — that’s what the bounty is for.

Here is my input. First of all, I think pokernow only has normal Omaha, not sure if they offer hi/lo actually. If they had it, that would be cool since I like to play hi/lo, mostly I play 5 or even 6 card Omaha though, which they definitely don't have. Also, not a fan of limit, it should be at least pot limit which is normal for Omaha. Maybe you meant to say that though.

Anyway, I am definitely open to play, if the buyin is not too high.

Hi guys, as we have had amazing sponsored poker rounds, everyone knows we will have times when some of us want to play some poker, but effort and money is due to organize it ourselves. This thread serves as a discussion board about the formats, the buy ins and the schedules that would work for us, and feel free to chime in with creative ideas. I like to play whenever I have time and I am open to pretty much all kinds of poker. While I am ok with higher buy ins ($50 or more), I think for the more frequent rounds we should find a sweet spot in order to have as many people on board as possible. We can't please everyone and I think we all want some thrill, but if it turns out that several people would not pay more than $20 for instance, then let's go with that and organize additional rounds for higher buy ins.

I suggest a little format to get an overview of the specific interests everyone here would like to be considered. I'll give an example:

Poker variants: Texas NL hold'em, Omaha NL hold'em, Stud poker. I prefer NL, but if enough people like to play PL, I am in. 

Table variants: From heads-up to 3-10-player games, to any kind of MTT.

Buy in range: $5 - $100 (open for requests beyond that, depending on terms and conditions)

Schedule: Preferred weekend (forum timezone), but not only.

Please use this format because I will collect everyone's details in the next post. That gives all of us an overview and the possibility to extend or adjust our own format if we see what others like and whether we want to be part of a certain category.

The right amount against you, IMO, would be at least $50 and you have to send first.

That $50 is for him (@UGADawg), for you any buyin would be fine and we can settle later on, no issues at all from my side  . Just let me know a date and time when you will be comfortable, we can go headsup or 3/4 way but not more than 6 players. I can understand your wish to play OMAHA, 'the game of nuts' 
Against you I can play NLHE as well if you agree on that.

The $20-$30 buy-in range is the most realistic for keeping these rounds regular. Anything higher might shrink the player pool too fast

Ahh, the game was not setup by me it was @mv1986 who set up the game so only he could have approved. I told him explicitly that I will not be available for that time but he can play with you and I will be playing HU later on. I guess there was indeed some serious miscommunication lol.
When you wrote to me I thought you guys were already playing, as I provided your tele to mv and he said he will be ready within 15 minutes.
Damn, I am so sorry that you have to wait, my apologies, sometime you just cant avoid these things.      

Edit: After going back to the chats with mv, it seems I missed something very obvious. It was my fault.  He also wanted to play 3 way. My bad, was on the road the whole time, thought, I conveyed myself but I was wrong.

I'd be up for poker in about 1.5 - 2 hours. I got brutally sick last time and was more or less knocked out for quite a while. If you or @memehunter or anyone else wants to, we could go for a little round. Prize money, you can decide ($10 or $20?).
