Could not find by bet in my bets history

I placed a future bet on the Barcelona Vs Inter Milan and Arsenal Vs PSG championship match which was played on the 29th and 30th of April, I was not bothered tracking the bet because I don't want to be tempted on the cashout odds but then, i was following up the matches live which at the end I lost it according to my prediction.

Due to the fact I played several games same week, I was glancing on my bets history for other games outcome which then prompted me to just take look on the concluded Barcelona and Arsenal games.
As the case maybe, it was my major game for the week because I wagered it with a very large amount but "I was unable to find the bet history" (Barcelona and the Arsenal) match in my bets history while recent including older games history were all there.


This strange act prompts me to bring this up here asking... If is it possible for an online gambling site to rebel it players by deleting specific bets from their bet history to avoid proof of evidence against legal cases?

Note: Don't ask me what site it is because I won't tell it and as said, it was a strange one of this site and would not want to cause a demarketing for the company on this one course as far as I am aware that I lost the bet.

This incident as I may call it has also ignited me a hard experience that it is necessary to copy and safe my bet codes somewhere else if Incase such scenario reoccurs probably when I wins and the company tends to play over me but other question still stormed into my head "questioning the reliance" of the bettor in a similar case if provided the best code, what is the possibilities that the gambling site will be sincere recognizing or decodes the existence of the bet code in it site?

Well, that is definitely strange and something I would not expect to happen on a casino which have a reliable server and does not need to delete the history of their gamblers for the sake of saving space in their system...
Perhaps you encountered a glitch which affects bets with a significant amount of money, because I don't see other innocent explanations on this happening to you (and could be happening to others) without them realizing.

Though, I would not be surprised if this happened to be the kind of tactic being used by shady and scam casinos to deny their victims their money after having a lucky win in their sport-betting session. But I will assume you don't frequent shady websites at all, so it is likely a bug. Why not try to report it?

well, the first question I'd love to ask is -- was this game wagered on a single ticket? Or was it part of other games, all in one ticket?
If the former was the case, then the whole ticket should have been missing as well since they can't leave an empty ticket with other estimations, without the game on it. But for the latter, I've never seen or heard anyone complained of getting their games erased from other group of game on a ticket, so this feels totally weird to me.
However, just like you said, you lost the bet. What's the reasons why a casino would alterate a lost bet in avoidance of a legal case? What legal cases are we talking about here? It'd make sense if this was a win.

What are you talking about? Do you not know how numbers operate? Seems like this is more of a trust /anxiety problem than a real event.

There’s an issue in the past that some bets was deleted on the betting history although all the bets was recovered in the end but casino sometimes deleted some bet but due to maintenance and not for specific reasons against the player because they have nothing to on cheating with players on lose bet already.

Having a screenshot of your bet slip is always the right choice to do so that you can assure that your bets will not be modified if ever you will play on casino that do shady things on players bet.

Expect always the worst and do have copy of your bets.

By all jntents and purposes a betting platform should keep records.

My personal opinion is they should keep them forever. But at least they should keep them accessible for the longest possible.
How else are they going to justify user balances if not keeping records?
Casinos that don't keep records or change their terms retroactively only to get some money out of user balances are not to be trusted in my view. How would they prove their solvency if audited for instance?

Banks keep records forever for this reason. Digital transaction records are costing close to nothing. Long term storage for small amounts of data is a negligible cost for a profitable operation.

Yeah I will call it a trick if I was to win and this tends to happen and you know... In a case of legal justice to such disputes, i will be doomed when I am not able to provide proof about my claims of the game in the case that I can not provide the bets code or history since it was an online gambling.
But for now, let us call it a bug with the likely that I did not win the bet when this was occured.

I think the first is most likely what happened - assuming it was a bet that the Op won I would have understood the reason why the casino would want to try and erase every evidence that would prove that the Op really placed that bet but since it was a game that was lost then no need to delete it.

So, the two most likely scenarios would be either there was a bug that led to the deletion or the Op never confirmed the bet and thought he did - but which ever the case was I still think he should reach out to the support and see if they can log at their end and check if he really did place any bet like he mentioned.

I have not seen a casino doing this. I'm would be surprise if a reputable casino is deleting history. But if they do I might distance myself to such casino, so should you OP.

I am curious to know which casino is this but because you already said you are not revealing it then, its all up to you. There are plenty  more casinos to sign up, you you suspect your casino is a scam, there are popular ones in here.

If you lost the bet there's no need to stress yourself over it but sometimes glitch normally happens with some casinos and bet sites, I'm sure that you are not the only one having that issue with that particular issue on that site. Some people might have the same issue and perhaps they haven't noticed it or probably less concerned about it. I think it's going to be restored back to your history after some days, you can communicate with customer care and lay your complains.

It must be a problem with the server or something, but if you lost the bet it shouldn't be much of a problem. Some bet sites usually have little issues with things like this especially when they upgrade their server. If it's not rectified after a few days then you can lay your complains. Just because this happened with your lost bet doesn't mean that it's going to be the same with your winning slip.

I know you don't want to give the name of this specific casinos or bookie which may be having this kind of issue with their bettors' history. Still, I would be glad if you kept us updated on this situation and whether the bookie offered some official explanation to what happened to your bet and what could be going on the bet history of other gamblers in the same platform.
It is not a small deal, after all, many bettors rely on their history (provided by their bookie) to evaluate their future strategies and correct mistakes done in the past, as well to calculate their monthly or yearly profitability.

I am leaning to all of this being just a bug which you found, hopefully they will offer you something for disclosing this problem to them, at least some bonus or something for you to continue betting. That encourages people to responsibly disclose bugs and vulnerabilities .

I think you're right, the op may not remember what actually happened, may be the site of the particular bet company he use to bet was having issues and they may still return that particular slip back to the history later that's if he is very sure that he actually place the bet just as you said,  so I don't think such is actually a problem, I have had an experienced where I placed a bet it was actually in sportybet I saw your bet has been submitted pop in my scree,  just for me to refresh and find out that my selection was not submitted then I tried to resubmit back and it went through successfully.

We can consider it like that, but still you should contact support to get an explanation. because I have never had such an experience, even for a fiat betting site that is not very popular.
You should limit the amount of your deposits and also your bets in the future with that betting site. Your experience can also help other bettors to be more prepared if the situation you experienced might happen to someone else, either on the same betting site or another.

A notification like that should make your bet guaranteed place. I don’t encounter an error that a bet is not successfully placed after submitting it and a notification was already issued.

An error like this from a casino is a big issue especially for those bettors that place a huge number of bet.

It’s easy to check if bets is missing even if the bet history doesn’t show it. There’s always a bet history on the account profile page that shows all the bet done inside the casino. This is an alternative way to check your bet records because it should tally to your total deposit amount.

If you lost the bet then why would the casino intentionally delete your bet if at the end they benefit from your bet? It could be that there was an error in placing the bet. Maybe it did not go through and the casino failed to inform you properly or you overlooked the warning. Maybe it did go through and the casino themselves had an error in their system. Anyway, I can’t think of a reason that would want them to delete your bet.

If the casino is regulated, they are gonna have to acknowledge your bet code and check in their system otherwise they could be investigated by the authorities. But if you are using a sketchy casino then don’t expect anything at this point.

I think this has happened to me before and just like you said it's not appropriate to mention the name of the bookmaker..To cut the long story short I placed up to 5 bets and all were lost but I notice that only 4 was in my bet history, I began to check to everyday because I thought that it wasn't properly settled or maybe there was some kind of delay but after four days when I was going through my history I found it there...so if you are still curious to know why it happened keep checking it for a few days.

this sounds really strange to me, and the first time that I am finding something similar since bookmakers even avoiding to pay just one bet or few bets can't realize a "business" on this.
how many bets they need to void before to realize a decent amount? unless you're playing in some "grey" bookmakers/markets, well...

Have you tried to reach their support and ask if they can try to retrieve your history?
Moreover, have you tried to verify your navigation history if it is appearing something related the match? Likewise if you know at least when you should have placed this bet...

Logical reason, you thought you placed the bet while you haven't placed the bet or the bet is void then it may not show in the history tab. But the former is the most likely occurrence in my opinion, why would a casino hide the bet from history which you acknowledge is lost, there is no logical reason for them to do that.

Some of the casino games won't be recorded like live games or specific games that is only because those bets are not eligible for wagering as well as rankup rewards.

Just heard the first time the previous bet was not in the history of the casino, because it has never experienced this kind of thing before.

Could this be a bug? Because I saw in the Barcelona and Arsenal bet in the champions league before that it was still there even though it lost and still the history was still there.

Yes maybe some people think this will not be unexpected fear of the casino hiding something, or whatever it is because if the bet loses then there is no need to worry even though in the future this can happen again, maybe this problem can be conditioned by asking direct support.
