I'm betting that digital betting becomes more popular instead of Las Vegas popping out in many countries. It's easier and faster to play at a digital casino, and people love fast things nowadays. I don't think we'll be seeing this era again because we aren't moving towards the physical machines anymore for gambling but going digital. What most casino are doing is adverting their casinos so more people can download their apps and when they get the download, they have a better chance of more people playing their games and making a good revenue for the company. Not many people enjoy socializing anymore, people prefer to stay out of the public while still enjoying the same benefits from the comfort of their mobile phones. Banks are installing ATM  because cash is still a big part of the society but gambling isn't and not many people like it when others know that they're gambling because of the way some society treats gamblers.

That depend on how the acceptance crypto in your country. If your government allows crypto, you may see it in the casino. Casinos will install a new machine with crypto available for bets. No, it will not work that way, if you want to relax, just go to physical casinos and not those who are just found in the corner with only some few slot machines. I doubt though that crypto casinos are willing to go to this length. Because if they are then we will have seen it already. But so far they wanted to distinction that crypto based is online for now and let those physical casinos do their part, brick and mortar and land base is for them.

This depends on the country and the local gambling regulations.
I guess that those slots machines were installed in public places, because the slot machine owner got a permission from the authorities.
I don't believe that such permission would be granted in the USA or any European country. Where is this picture from? Asia, Africa or Latin America? Some countries have liberal gambling regulations while others have strict gambling regulations(or gambling is completely banned).
Placing slot machines near drinking spots seems like a great idea from a business perspective(and also it seems like a pretty evil idea). Lots of drunk people spending their money on gambling is a recipe for ruining lives.

When I was much younger, slot machines were quite common in bars but I don't see them again, I don't know whether it's due to government restrictions or it's no longer profitable for the providers. I think that it is ok to have slot machines in spots where adults gather to have fun, they might get excited to try their luck in gambling. But I won't support the idea of having slot machines in relaxation centers where kids visit, they are very inquisitive and it can entice them to want to try their luck like the adults. It is silly idea as for me. Gambling is not something that you need everyday. Also it has some restrictions that we have to remember about. For example age of gambler.
PS. In my country there were slot machines on the streets about 30 years ago. I don`t want to see it again.

It looks like a refrigerator with various types of drinks inside. If a mall visitor is thirsty, just insert money and a bottle of drink comes out of the machine.
I just see it as a convenience and freedom provided in public places. If visitors want to play, just put money in and enjoy the game.
But not all countries provide it like that because of legal and illegal issues. For countries where casinos are legal, it's in.

I don't think this will ever be possible. Because physical space needs more money than a virtual one.
Crypto casinos have their business online and they are earning a lot of money avoiding useless expenses.
It could be possible for some live promotion - yes of course. But switching a business that has already a clear setup is likewise impossible.

I think when I was young, we had era when slot machines were installed everywhere, most typically in bars or small cafes'. Its not "will we see?" but "will it return" era. And I think NO, because gambling and entertainment laws strictly forbid that. Its similar to covering or hiding cigarette in the shops to hide it from kids.

And I think that ATM are placed in public places to make people withdraw on the go. They are placed in strategically important places, where ATM is demanded. Not placed to make people withdraw on purpose, but in a place where people really need cash.

But the ATM machine is used to make it easier for people to withdraw money or access banking services easily, while when slot machines are made in more public places, it is to make it easier for people to play slots?? that's just a little wrong in my opinion, because the more slot machines in public places it will only increase the potential for gambling addiction in people.

It will probably happen when Bitcoin and other digital currencies are starting to get accepted as means of payment like what's happening in El Salvador right now, till date there is no single store that's accepting crypto payment in my country, once US used BTC as reserve its possible that other countries will join.

Thank you for getting my point, I saw some people calling my reasoning stupid probably because they do not get it, If I do not have a thick skin I would have been intimidated. They missed the entire point of the discussion.

Someone even mentioned that it was something that has already happened and the world has progressed passed so, but they forget that if cryptocurrency is really to go mainstream, then this is actually still possible because Crypto casinos can still establish this, and people can still use their cryptocurrency to play in these machines.

With how the world we are now is, the government are only looking for money. So far they allow gambling in their country, they can allow the machines just like how bank ATMs are now. It might even be worse than that. What I think more is that the gambling platforms are the one in one reason or the other the people that are not interested to run the business like that. All they will do is let the machine know how to know under 18s and not allow them to gamble using the machine.

Maybe depends on the regulation or law implemented in the country since if they are not so strict towards gambling and they allow that on public places then provably that we could see it on anywhere we go.

But I didn't see this one yet anywhere in the country which I currently stay since maybe they regulate well this machines and they don't want it on public places since somehow this is easy to be access by minors. Usually they only allow it on license physical casinos.

I'm curious if that is legal in your country? Also hopefully they won't allow minors to gamble using that machines.
