People are getting wiser, and this time the scammer used a different approach, which was not like the regular money-doubling scheme where they hack a high-profile account and post or promote a scam token.

They made that little but big amount from just asking people to pay to get promoted in the X account. The amount might have been bigger if they had used a different approach, but from the way X accounts are now easily being hacked, people should learn how to treat any suspect information from high-profile accounts with caution.
