3 things to learn form my 1yr journey.

One important thing I learn here long ago is to be genuine. There's no point trying to form what you're not or trying to present yourself as intelligent. You're in no competition with anybody. When you try to force people to see you as a very intelligent person, you'll only end up embarrassing yourself, and you can't learn that way.

Another thing is to be open-minded. Don't have the idea in your head that you know it all or know more than everybody. There are people from different fields of life here, and you can't know everything more than everybody. Just be open to learning, unlearning and relearning things, and you'll grow.

It's amazing to see how time flies because staying up to a year in this forum and achieving quite a lot is not an easy job; rather, it's a remarkable journey. Not everyone who started this journey with you or before you in this forum has achieved or reached the heights you have reached in this forum, not to mention making an impact that most people will take note of you for being a regular poster whose impact has been felt.

I will want to use this opportunity to let you know that the little things you do in this forum, which you think that most people don't take note of, are being noticed. Someday, you will be rewarded bountifully to a greater height for being a good buddy who is honest and consistent in the forum

1.) Be honest, everything is secondary. If you are not an honest person it will reflect in your behavior somehow (despite your attempts to hide it) which will make your journey impossible here.
2.) Be consistent, make a habit of reading and writing daily. You will be amazed to see the domino effect of small consistencies in your daily life. 
3.) Be fearless, Don't be afraid of speaking your mind or accepting your mistakes.

These three are enough to make someone succeed here but people tend to shy away from them especially the beginners. In fact, you don't need to apply these only in your forum activities but even life outside forum. There is this popular saying that "truth shall always set you free" but we prefer to keep ourselves in bondage with dishonesty. People can create all sorts of lies here just to get merits or other advantages without realising that it represents their personality.

Consistency is like a fertiliser to growth. You don't necessarily need to be expert from beginning before you can thrive but with determination and consistency, you'll conquer the challenges and create a name for yourself to be proud of. Even if you are good in whatever you do and you're not consistent, you'll probably lose that potential in the long run.

I do come across your name and from others comment here, I can only encourage you to maintain the same energy and continue in the right path. Happy one year anniversary to you!

To be very useful: your usefulness on this forum is what makes you to grow. The more you will also understand this forum as you grow and continue to post, you will have more experience about this forum.

Well done mate, I think this is even the most important on the list of things users must be or have here in the community. The community is a space of learning and growing with little privilege attached as you are here and in all your level of importance in the aspect of impact made speaks a lot in your growth journey because you can be honest, consistent and fearless without contributing and you will still end up stuck at one point.

Congratulations OP on your 1 year crypto journey, not everyone can lasts longer like you do, but you did it. And yes, if you are just genuine on your desires and goals in the forum as well as in the crypto market, you will always end up with a positive outcome.

This is a good advice. Choosing your boardhof interest will help narrow down your niche and concentration and your contribution to the forum will increase. You will definitely be grounded in things about the board in a very short period of time.

Very true, the forum is called Bitcoin discussion forum. Which means you have to engage in active discussion and not to have one response and leave, whether people quote you or not, you don't care.

Yes, I have a different view. Almost everyone in the forum wants merit. Try to earn merits but don't make it a priority.

The truth is, there’s no competition in the forum. All started from scratch and eventually grow as long they don’t stop from learning every single day. It takes patience and yes, being genuine of course, but I think the best thing to learn here is to recognize that we grow as one here. You learn from others, as well as others learn from you. There’s non-stop learning as long as you stay being open-minded to what is more relevant and useful to you.

Today I have completed 1 Year of my journey here. I know it is nothing compared to the majority of reputed members here, I can make this post quite long with some amazing names (very tempted  ) but this time I will just briefly give some experienced suggestions to members who are starting their journey recently here;

Congratulations to you for 1 year together on the forum even though you don't greet each other but know each other because of the posts you read.
There are still further years that we will go through here and hopefully the next year to year can be even better with positive changes.

Points 1 through 3 are good and important. Putting honesty in the first point is very appropriate because this will pave the way to go far. However, the fearless point for me should be the point placed at number 2 and then be consistent.
Being honest and not afraid to speak your mind and accept mistakes is part of the learning process.

OP your topic would have been more suitable in this thread Announce your rank up, merit or any achievements that makes you feel great! or in the reputation board but since you are kind of sharing your experience, it will also help newbies be motivated and for me, among the three things you stated, the one i like most is being fearless because the reason why some people in this forum have not been able to grow further is the fear of being criticized but i only see criticisms as a way to help one improve instead of looking at the negative side of it because if you are doing something and no one complains about it that means they don't care about you and your success but when they correct you and give you advice on how to go it is better than when everyone is clapping for you even when you are wrong. Inasmuch as you are not breaking any rules in the forum and don't think there is need to be afraid.

Try as much as possible to connect with your local board, once in a while, communicate with them and have some connection, you will feel among in the Forum more when you visit only the general board. Like in my local board, they did a competition about Christmas food, though I miss out and I was overwhelmed how other communities troop their to reward them in their one way including the forum founder, there are things you don't expect which are very social happening in this forum.

Though, the way you present your points might not be general for everyone because there are some members that are just their self, they don't involved their self in any form of drama but when they drop their inputs in any meaningful thread, you will know that such person has something upstair, they don't force their conversations and they drop it as their head tells them to and not because other people want them to do it even if they wear signature, they write on their own will and accord.

Welcome to 1 year forum cycle, this is an important milestone achievement and through our the period of the time, you have faced alot of challenges and overcome them, that make you to be in the best position that you can advice other's and all that you have mentioned are all within the range of that fairness and honestly plus consistency are key bedrock to your success here in the forum.

I think all the things discussed here are very closely related to reality. In fact, this is the reality of every work, in every field, where you are loyal to your work, you are honest, you have no fear that you will fail in this work. If you are giving your full time to your work, as you have thought that you will have an output and accordingly you are giving your input, then no power on earth can make you a failure. You remain successful. You are giving time to your field, your profession and you are loyal to it, then the fear of failure is left far behind. If you are giving best in this matter, then success is your destiny. If you remain loyal, then you will remain successful. No matter what field of life it is, whether it is a partner in your life, or the relationships in your life, you will always be successful.

I think he is just like his name, a hunter which means someone who is ready to do his best to achieve the target he is hunting. I feel that people in this forum need to learn a lot from achievements like this, especially for beginners. You have indeed achieved a lot in just your one year in this forum, or let me say you’ve learnt a lot since you can be able to reiterate on the things you’ve learnt so far you joined the forum. It is worthy to know that this forum is full of knowledge and knowledgeable people. During your course of staying here, if you’re not able to achieve anything or even get to learn somethings here that will help you in your crypto journey, then you’re just wallowing your time here without having any significant use to your stay here. Opportunities are everywhere but if you are not able to practice well all those you’ve mentioned above, I don’t think you can be able to cling on to those opportunities for your own good use. Always focus on what you tend to get to achieve in a new place you find yourself and when you’re able to practice good behavioral and good relation /communication skill there, you’ll be well positioned more for those opportunities to reach you faster.
