@zasad@. What are your speculations on these new additions and wordings on the draft of the Clarity act? I reckon the reaction of the mr. bald Brian Armstrong of Coinbase will certainly be warning sign if this is negative. We can be certain that Brian Armstrong is only protecting his business, however, what will protect his business is also what is protecting the cryptospace.

I'd rather refrain from commenting I told you at the very beginning that this law is needed for the US, but it's difficult for me to judge what the final content of this law will be. It seems there's consensus on the main points.
I think this law will be passed in the last session before the Senate changes, around December.

Similar to what I have been mentioning before, this was some years ago, that banks and other institutions in traditional finance will fight over the control of inflows and outflows of stablecoins in and out of the cryptospace. However, what is unexpected is the entry of Samsung hehehehe. It appears that they will have some partnerships with companies in the cryptospace and traditional finance in the next years.

I predict that in the future stablecoins will have a bigger market capitalization than bitcoin.



Samsung’s recent announcement that it is adding stablecoin support to 800 million new smartphones could position the tech giant to become a major stablecoin distributor, experts told CoinDesk.

This is not Samsung's first venture into cryptocurrencies. Samsung, the largest company in South Korea, has been actively involved in the crypto industry for several years, having introduced its digital asset wallet in 2019 through Knox, a hardware-isolated vault with fingerprint or PIN access. The wallet allows users to store and manage crypto including bitcoin, ether and tron, and supports connecting external hardware wallets like Ledger's Nano S and Nano X directly to a Galaxy device. Samsung is now arguing that it can make payments easier, using a type of cryptocurrency with a consistent value.

“Due to this strategic move, Samsung will emerge as a dominant distributor of stablecoins such as USDC,” said Joseph Goh, director and head of Asia Pacific at crypto investment banking and advisory firm Areta, in chat messages with CoinDesk. He said one of the most significant issues holding back greater adoption is reaching potential new users. “Distribution is the scarce asset here, and Samsung owns a great deal of it.”

I tested Knox on my Samsung and didn't like the implementation. Criminals and police will check this protected user folder first.

I like the security implementation on the Xiaomi the most, on this phone, it's not clear whether you have a hidden folder or not.
But to interact with DeFi projects, you will have to install wallets like MetaMask.
