Here we go again seeing the correction coming in this week. But we should not worry because it is just temporary. We will see another increase from Bitcoin perhaps a few days more or next week so we can use this time to buy back at a lower price.

We never know when the price will rise and how high the price will be. So when you want to be a long term investor, you should use this time for your benefit. It will be good if you can buy Bitcoin at a low price like in this situation so you will see your Bitcoin investment grow once the price reverse.

I wouldn't call it a correction, as for now, it's only a dip Grin

A correction, a dip, what's the difference (at least, in a bull market)? A correction in a bull market is a cooling down of bullish activity, which entails a dip Roll Eyes

I would say that a correction is when we go deeper than 10% of the price or so in a matter of a few days / week at max, whereas a dip is on a smaller scale than that.

But Donald Trump wasn't the kind of person who was in favor of Bitcoin from the beginning. If you think about the last election, you'll see that the price was never in favor of Bitcoin. He said "I'm not a fan of cryptocurrency and Bitcoin "

Source - https://finance.yahoo.com/news/trump-i-am-not-a-fan-of-bitcoin-and-other-cryptocurrencies-105950093.html?

But this time he has adopted Bitcoin to attract young people in the election. Not only that, but he has also campaigned with Milan Musk to increase his popularity. If Donald Trump were not there, then Bitcoin would have taken off on its own.

Saylor and Larry Fink were not early bitcoin supporters, they have also been negative and openly critical of bitcoin in the past. But now they are the biggest influencers in bitcoin, they inspire many others to invest in bitcoin.

Trump is now president, but he still stands by his stance and declares himself a big fan of crypto. This shows that he did not use cryptocurrency as a tool to serve his political career, he changed his mind and became a real crypto fan.

Bitcoin could still grow without Trump, but thanks to Trump or Saylor or Larry Fink, things have moved faster, we shouldn't deny that.

I really hope that this one is different from the previous cycles, and we could experience a stable and healthier growth.
If the market continues to move this way, we might actually be able to see a new ATH soon.

Who would've thought Bitcoin would go as high as $100k? If it achieved that, it can achieve anything. I believe $1m is possible in the future. Long-term speaking, BTC will reach a new ATH. But I'm not so sure about the short-term. After all, there's some level of uncertainty surrounding Trump's tariffs. Any worsening of the situation, and BTC will immediately go down in price. Volatility is still an issue, so it would be advised to proceed with caution.

Thank goodness the US has a pro-crypto President. It could've been worse for Bitcoin with Kamala in power. Things will be sailing smoothly from now on. At least, within the next 4 years. Just keep holding BTC and forget about the rest. Cheesy

I think BTC would be gud in the long run anyway, we would just switch from bear to bull instead of midway movement now into the true Bull entering the stage.

But hey, we don't need to think much about what could of been, the history is made today Grin

Trump being the fan of crypto doesn't mean that we remain bullish throughout his tenture.

I think he has damaged the investors confidence and there the risky markets stocks and crypto dumped during his first few weeks after he becomes the USA president. Anyhow in long term Bitcoin is bullish , no doubt about it.

lol… ain’t no way we was going to remain bullish for a quadruple year, Bitcoin has its own season if we must resound on that and it’s far different from what you’ve got in politics and governance. In as much as Trump might have means to influence the decision of others and affect the market, sooner or later, the cryptocurrency population would get bored of him and it just wouldn’t matter anymore. Let’s just ride him out for the while.

At least with the current conditions no one will say that bitcoin will die as it has already happened Cheesy
We are back to the price of $100k and indeed it is a very good thing but to release bitcoin now does not seem to be something that tends to be right even though all decisions are in the hands of each but reflecting on the past as long as we still have no needs that are considered very important and there is no reason to release ownership then in the end why release a very valuable thing.

I will still continue the hodl that I am currently doing because for me now even though the profit is definitely felt but at this time there is still no reason that can really convince me to release the ownership that I am doing now so I will not do that because my goal is still the same where the long term is always something that I do not want to just disappear from the investment goals that I do in bitcoin.

I would put percentages because one is the bigger one, and the other - is smaller in nature. But we never know to how far we are going to fall when we are doing it already..

We shouldn't expect too much but at least having a pro-crypto president is still much better than having a non-crypto president. At least when he becomes president, crypto regulations will become clearer, policies will also be more friendly...these are factors that will benefit the crypto industry in the future. If he hadn't been president, we might not have these things.

There is no denying that he has caused short-term panic in the markets with trade war. But bitcoin and the stock market quickly recovered almost completely before the trade war broke out. Everything seems to be back to normal so we don't need to continue blaming or complaining about him.

I really hope that this one is different from the previous cycles, and we could experience a stable and healthier growth.
If the market continues to move this way, we might actually be able to see a new ATH soon.

Even though we've been seeing a lot of positivity in the market lately, I don't think that it's going to keep going in the same direction without any correction or pullbacks, because market sentiments keep changing over time, those who are bullish right now won't take any time turning bearish if they see a small decline, and we know that the market is dictated by how the traders and investors react, which means that if there are more bearish traders and investors, the market will keep going up, but if that trend changes, the market will experience a decline.

Those of us who trade for the short term would love to see the market have a bit of a decline before it goes beyond the previous all-time high, because we will get to have some more profits before the final wave of this bull run, and after that, who knows? We might see the market moving towards the bear run after that.

This cycle has surely been different than others; we have seen a new all-time high even before the halving, which alone was enough to make this cycle different.

I think it is not quite right to say that this cycle will be different or different from the others. In my opinion, it is quite possible that the further movement of Bitcoin price will not depend so much on halving. Most of the Bitcoins have already been mined. Despite the opinions of many skeptics, Bitcoin is firmly entrenched around the world. It seems to me that the Bitcoin price is now more susceptible to the geopolitical situation in the world than to halving. Therefore, if the world economy continues to thrive, Bitcoin's price may rise despite some cycles.

In the past there was mostly a drop on sundays (european time), we called it the best day of the week to buy bitcoin. There were not many days like today, they were rare. Today we are back above $105,000. Maybe it is because Michael Saylor has posted another posting for another bitcoin buy on x. Capitol one maybe sees that too and i think, they will soon buy again. Bitcoin will often be “back” again the next years, I think it will never be different.

Bitcoin is doing well at the moment, I hope Bitcoin starts another pumping movement, and this time Bitcoin will create a new ATH. Bitcoin is currently trading at $105.5+, there are less than 2 weeks left until the end of this month, I hope this current movement will last for a while, and Bitcoin will reach a new ATH before the end of this month, but there is a high possibility that Bitcoin may see something good in the last week of this month. Let's see what happens, but there is a high possibility of positive movement ahead.

By now, those who doubted the comeback will be regretting why they didn't take the opportunity to buy more. Only those who still hold on to their Bitcoin or precisely added more to their portfolio will understand the feeling of the price going back to $100k and, in no time, hitting a new ATH. No doubt the price will go up even further. Many will sell to take quick gains, especially the traders, while some will hold for a longer time. It depends on which type of investors we are, whether we will be willing to have more patience for the bull run.

Yes brother I agree with you, however Bitcoin's journey has been moving forward since 2011 to the present day and it is also moving forward in terms of security. Due to this, Bitcoin has now become the most valuable and respected cryptocurrency in the world, and no matter how much government opposition, Bitcoin remains steadfast on its path.

FUDsters are going to FUD, but Bitcoin is going to prove them time and time again. And there will less and less of people doubting the future of BTC.

Bitcoin always show love and pumps to make investors have profit, with how bitcoin is moving smoothly am sure he will pump very soon and get profit. Bitcoin don't used to fail like other coins, so we should continue investing on it and be getting better profit when the market is going well. Nothing will stop bitcoin he will continue breathing and no coins can over power it currently. We can't predict if bitcoin will increase some time or decrease is volatile but you as and investors, you will definitely be thinking positively, that the coin will be increasing anytime.

but sure the bitcoin can decrease because of the volatile that is why is unpredictable but everyone that have the necessary experience about bitcoin, will always beleave that the coin will mostly raise when the market moves well. Every year bitcoin price change he can probably increase in price or decrease so we can't really know if he will pump next year or decrease, but everyone want the price to pump so that you can achieve our target. Just know that bitcoin will not always favour every year, they most be a hard time and a easy time.

Bitcoin ETF has always seen good inflows from the past months but now that bitcoin has gone above $100k, I assume that investors must be going crazy driven by fomo and still wanting to get their money into bitcoin.
Yes, all investors must surely be crazy, because what they anticipated for a long period of time is given a sign to happen, and with the way Bitcoin takes the journey, if it can continue in that way, a lot of investors can gain huge amounts of profits from the Bitcoin, because some of the people invested in the Bitcoin since it was still at its lowest price, and they were able to patiently not sell it.

I had the opportunity in previous months when the Bitcoin price dropped for me to purchase it with the little amount of money that I had, but I kept waiting, and after a while, the Bitcoins rose again. If not, by now I could be among those who will be crazy driven by FOMO in a few months later. 😎

That is true, if we push above all time high, then there is a big chance that we can push even further. That has to be a very important day and we need to make news headlines so that they would know all around the world that we are making a profit.

We get headlines of bitcoin crashing all the time, it's boring, it's bad, they think it gets views so they do it but we need to make sure that we can make it even better. So we need to remember, it could be done and it could grow further. If we do not do it, then it's going to suck and we are going to make a big mistake. So get to over ATH, and hope that all news shares that and make it known all around the world. Even non-bitcoin people should be hearing it, so we can be promoted even more.

A dip reflects a drop in price. A correction reflects a cooling down of bullish activity back to a consolidate level, which entails a dip. Both are the same in a bullish trend. There's no set percentage on either, as a dip and correction can apply to markets other than Bitcoin Smiley

I would put percentages because one is the bigger one, and the other - is smaller in nature. But we never know to how far we are going to fall when we are doing it already..

I suppose where I was coming from was that depending on the time frame it can be the same thing. Though I suppose you do have a point that sometimes one could be considered bigger than the other, though ultimately I still think it is dependent on the market you're looking at, its history and current conditions.
