There is honestly no need to speculate. It should not really concern us unless there is some illegal things happening. Just like how a lot of members here in the forum most likely do not inform the people in their life that they hold bitcoin. No one wants to flaunt their own wealth as it may just bring more harm to us.

I would not really surprise to see they have invested in a treasury company or they have some "exposition" in a company of the market (like exchange, mining etc).

From what I understand, OP did not say or meant that there is a Christina Lagerda Bank, what he said is that central bankers (a financial professional) are secretly buying Bitcoin while not making it known to the public. There's no strong evidence that she's secretly buying Bitcoin and I don't see any sign that he's really supporting it. Since what we know is she rejected Bitcoin as reserve asset for Europe. If her stance remain like this then I don't see any point on why people think about that she's secretly buying or engaging on any crypto related activities whether its legal or illegal.

Rich people are smart. So the usually do not openly to such things. There are many tax heavens in the world where they can set up a trust and then invest into hedge funds and private quities which invest into cryptocurrency. That's usually there preferred route for controversial investments.

There's nothing wrong for bankers to invest into cryptocurrency. I won't be surprised if we suddenly find out Jamie Dimon owns a large number of cryptos. But such things usually do not come into light.

We can't judge people on what they can do or can't do or their capability on certain things. They are on that field for so many reasons. We can't just say they have little or no knowledge of what they are doing because that's what we are seeing. But we actually don't know the person well.

But with the idea of buying btc secretly, I believe, a lot are already doing this route as they are seeing the high profitability of this asset. The theory could be true or not, because as long as we don't see it directly and only read it through the news, it still has two different meanings, it could be wrong or true even though it is secretly. I also don't deny that because the government and banks are smart people who don't want to be left behind so they can do it secretly without the public knowing, but on the one hand they still show themselves to the public as if they don't need Bitcoin. So such a strategy is a very common strategy for any party to do without having to be surprised because people who already know about the potential of Bitcoin will definitely not ignore the opportunity that is currently available to buy Bitcoin.

I can't say you're lying because it's no more a news that the banks and government officials are buying Bitcoin secretly. They can't come out to tell us that they're buying Bitcoin because they know the reaction the market will have to such news. When the president was pro Bitcoin, we say how fast the market reacted to start rising and every other cryptocurrency followed.

The government don't want fiats to lose value that much as it'll increase the popularity of Bitcoin because people will be looking for alternative means of how they'll be hodling their money.
