This is one of stupidity in the crypto. Facilitating scammer to easily create rugged token to rugpulling retail investors. Pump fun is the shittiest thing ever exist in the crypto today. A bunch of grifter stays there by creating token everyday, waiting for the retail to get in, then dump it to the ground.

I also believe the report is 99% accurate considering i have ever watched scammer who blatantly doing live at pumpfun, then rug pulling his own token after he got enough liquidity.

Even the user of that platform already know that it's game of attracting liquidity and dumping on it afterward, whoever get in early is the winner and the one who get in late are the losers, add it with rugpulls which dominates the trenches, it's overall just a mess.

Pumpfun is a different game.  It basically made it easier to make dumb shit tokens and sell them to degens.  But I guess everyone knows what they're getting into since there are no promises made by the dev teams.  So anyone who wants to get into the game knows what they're buying are dumb shit tokens that are worthless.

As for fraud factory?  Nay...  You knew it's all fun and games of who's left holding the bag.  And the ones complaining are it.

The fact that there were 7 million tokens launched, should tell you all you need to know anyways. I didn't know the number that was high, I assumed it was 100k to 200k, and there were about a few thousand good ones, but seeing how even a simple 1 thousand dollar liquidity couldn't be reached by 7+ million on them should be an issue and should be telling us how we need to put some preventive methods to creating tokens.

We can't stop them from doing what they are doing here, they can easily do it, but we could as a public require or demand "something" from projects, which would be hard to do unless they actually want to. Like for example doing KYC from the creators and the team, so we make sure that they are dealing with a lot of better results, that would limit it a lot more.

It is probably even worse than that, but it is not surprise. I blame more all the people that keep trying to buy random tokens as a way to get rich easily. Data shows that very few people have managed to make profit and retain profit. Many of those who do make profits from some tokens, end up losing them all in the next chase and so the cycle continues. The real winners here are the scammers who create the tokens, and the platform as it earns fees from all of this and it does not care if people get scammed or not.

We can't really figure out a way to stop people making a token though, that's the issue. I can go right now, and have an opensource project, on github, change the names and the logos, and have my own token it's that simple. How long this could take? And making a website is easier than ever.

So within the same day, like if I wake up at 9 am, by dinner I will have my tokens website, my tokens social media accounts, and the token itself, all ready; then all I will have to do is just make some designs, about some bounty campaign, some airdrop and that means people will do marketing for me, instead of I have to do anything. If they do a good job then I make money from the one days worth, if they do a bad job, then I lose absolutely nothing.

This is incorrect, almost all IEOs are scams too. What they prevent is from the founders from running away quickly with the money, but those types of scams are more rare these days. The real scam is making a stupid project that nobody needs, printing tokens and then doing very little and letting the project die. Almost all altcoins are scams.
