Business is the reason why the wealthy is wealthy, and as long as people start great companies they will always get rich, there is nothing wrong with that. Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk didn't get rich due to investment, they got rich because they built great companies. Obviously if they owned all of it, and never took any outside money, they would be tiny, so every company needs money from others to be bigger, and that is how they get rich.

But when you build a great business, people get in line to give you their money, just so they can ride with you until it moons. I believe this is wrong on so many levels because we are offering this to a small group of people and not everyone who owns a business by regulating who can do this.

Everyone who built wealth from scratch always has a skill and working history which enabled them to gather funds for investment purposes. Some people even invested into what they do, it grew bigger and they're wealthy today

That's right, investing is done by people who already have a lot of money or have an established business, so they use it as a way to save their money for further growth.

I see two things here and it seems you mixed them up, although it's possible to be successful still while doing both.

Having a personal rare skill will get you there faster, that's why no one is like Elon Musk for what he does. The other part is for example those who invested in Real Estate while things are very cheap years back.

You are simply correct and I have seen people that get rich without doing any investment. Once you have a good business that is giving you money often time, what are you waiting for? Time to stay rich and promoting the business more and more.

Everyone I know in real life has achieved success in business. Some have become good specialists in their fields, like dentists or surgeons, and only after they've managed to raise capital do they start thinking about investing. That's why I only see examples like these, although it's clear that this is always the case. There are people who bought Bitcoin and held it, and it helped them become truly rich, or people who got rich in stocks. But I've only heard of such stories, and I've never met anyone in my circle who could have achieved such success solely through investing.

Investment is not only by putting someones money in business but it goes wilder than that and besides before such profession the person paid money to acquired what has given them the profession so actually that's also a self investment, even if you are making your money today through your skills is also a derivation of investment that constituted it into becoming a source of income. You are right on that, it's possible to attain wealth through certain professions but how long do you think it's going to take? No matter how we try to compare it having an investment is far better. Let's use take medical doctors as an example, In country they don't earn more than 600 thousand naira monthly, at most let's say they earn 700k, if they end up paying bills and sorting out things what would be left to save up monthly?

I would say that investment is the fastest way to become it's not really the only way perse, there are other ways people acquire wealth but getting rich through these other means can be very slow. For example let's take someone that works in an oil company, the pay is good but when you can really say that the person becomes wealthy it's actually going to take that person a lot of time compared to someone that invests

Maybe what you say is true, but I hadn't considered it that way. Perhaps it could be said that they invested in knowledge, skills, or intelligence, not in gold, Bitcoin, or other assets. I don't know for sure if my neighbor got rich without investing, but looking at him on a daily basis, he's not someone who likes to invest in assets. But I agree that this could be considered an investment in knowledge or something else.

If you analyze the two or four people around me who are rich or wealthy today, most of them have become rich by self-improvement and establishing a business. However, a person can have a lot of money and if he is not an investor or an entrepreneur, he will not be able to become rich.
