We have been hearing many people talking about the poor people, they don't do this and that that's why they remain poor. We all have our ideas and how we do things that favor us that also gives us money to take good care of our loved ones and we also don't lack anything. We know how horrible the economy has gotten in our respective countries and some of us are so lucky to find ourselves in a better position or place that gives us all we want...I'd like to ask;

You can give a poor person $100k today and in the next few months he is still poor, come listen; becoming rich today depends on the level of our understanding and the level of our reasoning. A poor man today can only be Rich whenever they have decided to increase in their knowledge bank, this includes; how they sees things, judging and giving out their own valuable opinion towards life matters.

Let's say we have these sets of people and we know their reasoning is not up to standard and they only work with what they have at the moment and they don't think of how to improve or be productive with the wealth they have, that's true and we do have those who their thinking is so large that if you hear their plans you'd think they own a company or places where money is being made but they are still poor but inside of them they are rich (thats their ideas), no matter how hard you try to invest in these person nothing positive seem to come out of it and you ask yourself how on earth is this possible, these kind of persons do exist and is as if they are cursed. They can give ideas to other people to excel but they can't make use of what they are giving, to me is like that's how they are meant to be no matter the knowledge they have they can't make it, to me I don't think there's a way to help.

Avoid wasting money on superfluous things, draw long term goals for your financial life, don't fall for addictions, be careful with relationships which don't add anything to your existence. Also, if you are single, remain single until you are financially stabilized, at least. It's important to have priorities in life, so you raise your chances of leaving poverty while still young and full of energy and plans to execute.

Another thing to keep in mind is to believe in your potential, to follow your own path and to not listen too much to people around who are in miserable conditions, because they will try to weak and demotivate you, so you remain your entire life like them as eternal victims or the system who blame everyone and everything for their personal failures.

first thing is, dont aim to be rich, as that is still the consumer mindset.. to be rich is to have more money to spend on glamorous, lavish things, which is the simplest path to becoming poor again and never escaping the cycle

being rich is about attaining a certain amount of money and then spending the main part of it, depleting it

choose the path to become wealthy where you use excess funds to then invest and accumulate and grow, not spending the main amount of money but only spending some of the growth(interest/profit) so that it continues t grow and you dont deplete the main portion/capital

Unfortunately I wasn't poor and I'm not rich yet, I come from middle class and now I think I'm already in middle upper class.

From my own observation, if the poor want to change their life, they must go out from their hometown and manage the money by themselves. That two criteria is really important, if they grow up and work in their hometown, they likely earn less or minimum. If they go out, they likely to earn higher especially working in developed countries. They must manage the money by themselves too, let's say they earn $5K, they can live by spending $2K, which mean they still have $3K. Don't sent all the money you have to your family, sent only the amount that they can at least live with simple lifestyle.

Because, if you always sent $3K, your family likely to use all of your money without save or invest it.

But that will depend on how they do that way because if they don't do anything and still prefer with their situation, nothing change with them. We can not advice them if they don't want change their life because that will be no use for them.

Many people have this idea of staying off relationship, to me they are scared of commitment, yes it have its disadvantages which is the part you see more and it also have the advantages, some people are just lucky let's leave it at that. You can get into a relationship and out of nowhere one crazy opportunity will just land at your door step, you never planned or cracked your brain for it, the thing just happened...what I'm saying is that some relationship has a way of turning ones life from bad to good, no matter what and you'd also see some people rushing into relationship or they have been in a relationship for year but still no positive effects so I believe luck walks with some of us humans not by your power because some people work from morning till night and they are still in one position no moving forward, life is  confusing at times, some people can't escape poverty is like a tribal mark.
I agree with you on that, not listening to what "some" people have to say, it depends on how you approach life, some blame everybody for their failure like you said and these set of persons always jump into conclusion about something without finding out if what the other person is saying if is true. And again they still fall into the category of people who are meant to be the way they are no matter how hard you try to polish them they'll still remain the same. Sometimes, advice is not always enough, we all know that for every successful person, they pass through a lot of sacrifices and hard work through constant dedication; therefore for you or everyone to be elevated from poverty, they need to have something doing like business or so. You can’t advices someone that doesn’t have any business doing or any work doing to provide him/her with good to eat.
If you have the opportunity to help the poor with what to do to have stable earnings, then you can advice them on how to manage their money in order to be rich someday.

Then instead of dreaming big or just dreaming its better to believe in yourself Why would I close my eyes and dream about having a big house with a swimming pool, if that it not make my dream any closer? I would instead say to myself that I will have that dream house and start doing something. Because many dreams fall apart after first failure, first mistake, first difficulty and person turns into I CANT.

However, if we stick to dreaming, then dream about something real (again about "DREAM BIG"). If a house with a swimming pool is real, then having 100 houses with swimming pools and 200 expensive cars in the garage is something imho unreal. We can advise all we want, but without the right guidance and what they need in their situation, it may not help them. The situation of people differs. The advice that one person needs may be different from what another needs.
However, one thing everybody needs to focus on if they want to get better in life is to develop themselves. Trin harder, study harder, work harder. Find a skill you feel you can be comfortable in, learn in and when you've learnt it, keep learning and keep improving. Human development is the only way to come out of poverty. Im not a rich person so i cant give up any advise since even myself are trying out to find answers in regarding into this question on how to make yourself rich. Yes, you can read up tons of advises,books, recommendations and other words that tells this and that, but actually doing up the thing will be the biggest challenge. Why? You would be lacking of the following:

1. Capital
2. Business/Investment Ideas
3. Risks management
4. Passion
5. Where you do start

We do know that investment and business are the things that what make a particular person do reach up that rich state or being wealthy. Somehow you should be also putting up into your mind that
acquiring or achieving success is never been guaranteed. Come to think that when it comes to competition then it is really that high and its recommended that you should be wary about the risks too.

You know that every problem has its root cause and there solution, different problems and different solutions. So, before we give solution to a problem, we should identify what's the cause and which solution will be more appropriate for that problem because if you give a wrong solution to a problem, you have not solved that problem, you probably made it worse.

Some people are poor for different reasons, I know a few folks in my vicinity who deliberately don't want to stress their self to work meanwhile they can not boost of $100 of their own but they are grown men and women who should be dependent on their own.

There are some people that are working and making money but they are poor, they are poor because they are carrying too much responsibility of the family, so they don't save, they don't invest, they only earn and spend.

Some persons are making money and should be living a comfortable lifestyle but they are not because of extravagant spending. Living far above their earnings.

There are more examples bro, I know what my eyes have seen in the society. Have you not seen or heard about a situation where someone is earning higher than his friend but yet his friend who is earning less is even doing more better than the person earning more than him?

With that being said, if I see who is poor, I need to know why the person is poor before I can advise the person.

If you are not working, I will advise you to look for a job for yourself and work.

If you are living an extravagant lifestyle, I will advise you to limit how you spend unnecessarily and force yourself to save and invest.

If you don't have any skill or educational qualifications, I will advise you to improve yourself.

Well, what I will tell a poor person is to be consistent with what gives them money and diversify into another profitable venture. Yes, diversification is a good way to increase source of income but if wrongly done can drain your finance and defeat the aim. So, to be consistent with what gives you profit is going to help you to have savings which will definitely have multiplier effect over time. Savings is the best way to increase your financial status because it gives you liquidity to reinvestment and growth. Some people go borrowing with loan on it to start a business but at the end they end up bankrupt from servicing the loan. You can borrow to increase the turn over of a business but not to start the business. So, poor person who wants to be rich can cultivate the habit of savings. Some times we spend extravagantly, $0.50 saved daily will turn out to be a huge capital for business in 12 months time.

The grind? At some minimum level, for a poor person to be rich they have to choose whether they WANT to live or whether they WANT to be rich. Now it usually varies since sometimes, a person just needs one lucky break, but sometimes it takes months, years and that's what depends on the luck. Nothing we can say can actually influence that.
