This kind of question has been asked often and what people post most about is that the gambling sites use the welcome bonus to only attract people to join their websites and most of them will lose the bonus. The people that do not lose the bonus but win may later notice that they later deposit money and lose also. Gamble for fun.

Sticking to your trusted Casino is a better option because chasing bonus can lead you right into the hands of scammers. If you already have the knowledge that these casino bonuses are very difficult to claim, then as an old gambler I do not think that there is any need for you to be around from one casino to another in search of bonuses. Every old gambler should already have a casino that they are loyal to, and the only basis for them to leave such casino should be they have a problem with the casino not because of bonuses.

It depends on the bonus fine print, IMO. A lot have pretty high wager requirement which is far from attractive unless someone is too lazy and don't read the fine prints. I also saw a couple of casino with 12x (or was it 15x?) turnover which is IMO is a pretty good deal.

There could be specific use case, I think. For instance, if you're joining a multiplier contest in the forum a straight up deposit boost is good for your game.

However, you need to check if you need to submit KYC before you can withdraw. Because if you will avail every welcome bonus offered by the casino, you would end up sending your credentials to these casinos if you happen to have some funds to withdraw. And in my opinion, it is not good sending your data to those casinos. As much as possible, limit your exposure to only few casinos that you actually use. Otherwise, your credentials will be vulnerable to possible online hacking or other related activities as you don't know where your info will end up with.

These bonuses come with high wagering requirements and to make things even worse, the person may not be able to withdraw money from the new casino because the new casino has become a scam. That's why in my opinion it's not worth it for people to pursue this bonus. Imagine someone having to fulfill 40x wagering requirements, honestly it's very high, this person will be playing a lot and will lose a lot, when one day they manage to fulfill the requirement they will see that they lost a lot of money and it wasn't worth it

It can be worth grabbing or a waste of time depending on the mechanics or requirements to cash out that welcome bonus.  If it requires wagering that is impossible to meet then better not to claim it. If we need to lose our first deposit before the wagering requirement for the welcome bonus starts to kick in and the wagering requirement is reasonable then by all means claim the welcome bonus.

Always check the mechanics and requirements before claiming any bonuses set by the casino. This way, we can avoid unnecessary frustration due to misunderstanding the requirements.  Always check the pros and cons, if the pros outweigh the cons then I think a welcome bonus is worth grabbing.

Personally, I think this is just a waste of time - if you check the wagering requirements you’d see that it’s usually too high and for you to achieve something like that it will be a one in a thousand chance.

For me, I’d rather just decline jt and focus on my normal betting than to accept something that feels as if I’m chasing the wind - if they make it a bit less difficult in the future I might consider accepting it but for now, it’s a no go area for me.

I have benefited so much from casino bonuses and I know others who have also benefited from such bonus. The only problem people have with bonus is the waggering requirements which people are not able to fulfill because they gamble recklessly with bonuses. I prefer to stick to old and trusted casinos, because as you said, the bonuses aren't worthy. The requirements are just too harsh to be met by gamblers. There are superior chances to lose money while pursuing such bonuses than receiving them, so it's not only waste of time, but also waste of money... It was much better when we had giveaways instead of bonuses. Giveaways could be acquired by doing simple tasks for the casino, without having to risk money on the process.

The wagering requirement for the bonus is too much. If you are wise you will understand that casino bonus is only a strategy for luring more gamblers into their platform. Many gamblers don't care about the bonus again except for the newbies who still don't know how the gambling industry works.

There are usually more offers than just the welcome bonus at each online casino, I personally would usually skip the welcome bonus because in my experience I never even reach the TO (usually x40 of total deposit). For the other bonuses I usually take advantage of them, they're all more worthy than the welcome bonus which is a gateway to loss. Back to the main question, my answer is I would ignore those bonuses & go play at a trusted casino without taking/chasing bonuses.

Depends. I chase it when I get the timing like when I play and there's an active bonus, but if there's none then, well, there's none. I see no reason to actively chase it since it may be called a "bonus", but it's more like a strategy just to make you spend more to redeem them. Yes you get more plays, but it also costs you more money. If it was a real bonus, it'd be a sort of permanent thing that you can slowly achieve by spending and playing more and more everyday.

Not to mention there's also some predatory practices like time limited ones, both on trying to redeem the bonus and on using them. Some even limit where you can use it! That's like willingly putting your neck on a noose slowly lol.

For some people, welcome bonuses worth to get it so that make them trying to deposit the requirement amount and fill the requirement. But for some others, that will not worth because the requirement sometimes is too high for them. That can be tempted for gamblers but a wise gambler will not take the welcome bonuses if they think that is too high.

They will just deposit the minimum amount and start playing without think about the other promotion. I don't chase the welcome bonuses because I feel it is too high for me. I prefer to use the basic way which is deposit the minimum amount and start gambling.
