Will AI narrative sustain the current momentum on a long term ?

As a crypto enthusiast i tend to find AI projects really interesting, the fact that AI is dominating the crypto space can’t be ignored. The inclusion of trading bots which helps with automated trading, predictive analysis which has helped make trading easier in one way or the other and also AI optimizing the scalability of blockchains, the list goes on, the fact that AI is here to stay can’t be overlooked.

This was reason i wasn’t suprised at the success of NEAR, Grass, IP and the others. Currently, added SkyAI to my watchlist for the next few days, considering it’s an ecosystem that leverages MCP(Model Context Protocol) to provide scalable, real-time access blockchain data for builders. Interestingly, Binance Alpha and Bitget Onchain had listed it, funny enough i found out traders can get extra rewards for trading here

When i found the perks, i literally thought “AI tokens always stand out”. Seriously, AI narrative is one of the best, can’t wait to see what its future holds. By the way, what do think about AI tokens in the nearest future ?

AI is just another buzzword for the token scammers to create a bunch of new but useless as ever tokens and sell it to anybody who is willing to gamble on them. Such things are never truly sustainable, they soon need to come up with a new buzzword to create new hype to be able to sell some newly created useless tokens!

it's true the AI is here to stay and that's a reality we have to accept. AI has really been very useful in the crypto space as it has contributed to making things easier for both projects and it's users, it has been very profitable to traders and also to brokers(exchanges). It has caused a great revolution in blockchain technology and added some speed to scalability and tokenomics.
But in as much as we see these advantages, it is good to also consider it's disadvantages. It has also led to high level of increase in scamming and if you check the recent hacks in the crypto space, you will understand that AI has a great hands in that. The disadvantages even goes deep into fake tokens and scam projects and valueless AI generated faucets that has led to scamming of many and dangerous rug pulls so we have to be careful with this AI Revolution.

I've read skyai's mcp but I think anybody can literally spin up MCP easy these days. But we'll see.
So far, I only put attention into depin which can be considered outdated narrative already because I just find it really hard to find genuinely good AI coin other than just overly inflated non-utilities AI coins.

Either you are still new to the crypto markets or you are just here to shill your shitcoins.
In the last bull market, there were individuals that were so convinced just like you that NFTs were here to stay and 4 years later today, no one even talks about NFTs, Metaverse, ICOs, DeFi… you name it. The same fate is going to have to your so-called AI tokens. You will just have to be here for a few years to witness the fall and the shift to another hype or buzzword that will have come up by then.

Very correct, scammers are taking advantage of the hypes around AI project to introduce tons of scam coins that lack every sense of responsibility to perform in the market, and another thing that baffles me so much is hearing fork's making statements such as:
(AI changing narrative of cryptocurrency development) Whereas AI is just a buzz word, with backlog of negative embargos so why all the hype's.

It will sustain if it's not just another buzzwords.
But people are deploying AI project very frequently making the previous AI project obsolete in just matter of months.
This rapid development doesn't really seem suitable for an investment especially long term investment.

You think AI is dominating the crypto space, if that's true, how many of the tokens are not shitcoins and pump<>dump? Despite the hype, AI could be serving other needful purpose but regarding the crypto space, it has mostly been an opportunity for scammers to use it and extort from victims, particularly the AI bot that is said to help traders, some people spend a lot of money to buy those bots but discovered that it doesn't provide any much help in trading. Do you know any trader that has become so successful in trading through the AI bot? If the bot was as helpful as it is being advertised online, many people will be using it, including myself.

Don't be sure about it, remember what's in the news and in the spotlight, the scammers are always there to imitate and clone, not all that glitters is gold.

You have to check what every AI you encounter is bringing to the community and check the roadmap, whitepaper, and if possible, the people behind the project, if they are the kind of developers capable of creating and sustaining the project.
I expect the AI to play a significant role in the future due to the increasing demand to simplify work and support various industries.

Yeah, AI is the best narrative and use case that can be attached to cryptocurrencies. That's what I have believed before but after seeing with all of the projects coming out and telling people that they're into AI, it really made them look like a bunch of another projects copying each other. I feel that we're back to the ICO days and each projects bringing new narratives which they think people don't know yet are likely to invest on them and so as AI. I think that AI will thrive in the long term but sadly, for any crypto project that attaches itself to it, we might hardly see that some of them will be at the same success.

I don't think any of the AI crypto companies are actually building something in the background. It's being used as a marketing buzzword to lure in stupid investors. Because if they really wanted to build something in AI, big pocket corporate investors are sitting on a pile of cash and ready to invest in promising startups. Ai companies do not need to float a crypto to get investment to run their AI mission.

Nowadays, crypto market is flooded with useless projects and the scammers are very active in this market. Don't believe in this hype.

The most promising AIs of our time aren't making use of cryptocurrencies to boost or scale their projects to the next level. The ones using cryptocurrencies are the shady developers attempting to surf the hype while not offering anything original or unique to the market. AI is just a narrative in crypto environment, without any practical impacts. If you don't want to lose money, stay away from such projects.

It's easy to claim an AI altcoin is going to be next thing in crypto market. It's not the first time investors heard it, and it won't be the last. You can always expect trending subjects at a global level to be used as marketing means for scammers to make their schemes gain more recognition and adoption.
