Currently, the price of bitcoin shows a slight decrease in price and one may ask, is this the right time to buy in?. for the dominance of BTC in the crypto space, investing in bitcoin hasn't being a debate for me. price will still do more long in just a few weeks from now.

Cryptocurrency does not just move in one direction forever but often experience correction which can last a few hours, days or even weeks before the market will continue in the predominant direction it was going. Recur that Bitcoin reached over $109k before it corrected down to a little below $80k or thereabouts.  We are up above $100k and even if there is small correction on the market, there is no cause for alarm because it is a normal thing.

If you have not met your Bitcoin targets, I mean by the quantity you hold, these corrections are usually good entry points for you to buy more Bitcoin and hold for the predominant direction to give you easy profits.

This is an premature statement saying BTC is declining.  The current movement of the Bitcoin market is a normal price fluctuation.  If we looking at the market stance at this moment, Cointelegraph article^[1] states that  Bitcoin is about to rally as it observes the current long standing total of $6.8B while shorts stands at $25M.  This is a clear indication that Bitcoin demand is pouring into the market.

Definitely!  It is the right time to buy in.  Seeing positive news that heightens the hype of the Bitcoin market we must not wait until the rally ends, instead we should take the opportunity while the Bitcoin market is starting to rally or far from reaching the peak price of the current cycle.

It's literally doing accumulation and as long as it doesn't break 102k in daily time frame I doubt it will go down.
Haven't you heard news about certain company buying 1 billion worth of bitcoin?
I think we're still really bullish and the market shows just that, altcoin going down mainly because money rotate back again to bitcoin, see the bitcoin dominance chart at 15m.
Honestly I think we're just preparing for another rally to $110k level but I can definitely be wrong about it.

Waiting on a time to buy has not always been the strategy towards building any sustainable or healthy Bitcoin portfolio. It’s one way to not even get to buy at all as it leads to procrastination as, you never can really tell when it’s the best time to buy and not see the market dump even more with where you invested looking a little high. For the best part, the market would always climb. It’s best you invest and peg your hopes on that market pump. Price wouldn’t matter much if you are going to hold.

It's just normal though to see that kind of price movement, at least it will have to try 3x before breaking that big psychological barrier and then we go and chance $109k. But the thing is that we already have built so much momentum already from the last week of April towards this week so it's just a matter of time.

And we are still looking for like $150k to $180k in the next coming months so I think it's achievable. And as what we have said, we might as well just continue to HODL or even buy at this rate and then look at the end of the year as what will be our all time high.

I understand you are still a newbie but you should know when to say that the price of Bitcoin is declining and not make a post when the market is just experiencing little fluctuations that is not even close to a decline. Since the price of Bitcoin went above $100k, the price have been reaching $105k and fall back a bit to around $102k which cannot even be called a decline. If the price of Bitcoin fall to $95k or $90k we can then say the price is declining and not when a minor fluctuations just occur.

A slight decrease can still happen in a bull trend, and the dip is not something to worry about if the dip is not even 2% when it comes to buying.
Do so when anytime when you have the funds, you never know when we'll have a big leap.
I have a friend who keeps asking the right time and waiting for the dip to happen it never happened. he ended up investing at a price slightly higher if he had bought on his intention.

I don't consider this drop as a failure in bitcoin's attempt to return to ATH, but it is a way for bitcoin to gain new strength in breaking through strong resistance. Large orders at some resistance certainly make the path a little difficult, but not impossible to break overnight. I think we are just waiting for the resistance to be broken, but of course not anytime soon, especially when there is a slight correction like now.

Only about $6k from the previous ATH, I think it's close enough to hope for a breakout. I have no doubts about it, but of course it will take a little time and patience until bitcoin breaks down a huge wall of sell orders at certain resistances. I'm optimistic, and so is what I see about you.

You absolutely correct, and besides the market must not remain stable as they may think of. Currently what makes the market tradable is the ability to be able to change on it's price at every single moments and must not remain static, and if that happens then we can say that bitcoin is likely to be seen as a stable coin which that wouldn't happened for any reason.

Well the price fluctuating isn't gonna surprise me anymore because we might be thinking that it might beat that height but then again we can't denied the fact that it might still slide down back to $102-103k because that's how the movement have been for the last two to three days now.

Although all the movement is pointing at positive green so won't be surprised if we get some significant new height today or next, I mean it's Bitcoin and speedy surge is something we are used to.

OP only looked at the price of BTC for a day and made a rash conclusion from it forgetting that you can't tell it all by just looking at bitcoin price just for a single day. Tye volatility of bitcoin will make it go up at some point and still come down within a day, week or month, if you've stayed in the spare long enough, you would have witnessed all of it and never get bothered by a slight percentage of drop within just 24 Hours.

At this point, we are likely going to see bitcoin get to another new ATH in the next couple of days or weeks rather than seeing it go down below $100k but if for any reason we still witness it go down, we know too much than assume that it's not recovering again. I'm very bullish that bitcoin will soar above these resistance before the year comes to an end.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense for us to sell at this price, it's not even a new all time high. Unless you are really in some kind of emergency and needed the money then continue to HODL. And I think most of us are already educated about it, as we might have done it before and we regret our decision of selling early on. And now that we became more smarter. So with that, and even if there are newbies reading this, for sure they will learn from us not to sell early. Although there could be short sellers though, we understand that's how they made money here. But for the majority of us who doesn't want to complicate things then it's better to just continue to accumulate and then HODL for the long term. Or at least in this cycle, we will wait till the end of the year and what will be the final price of Bitcoin, it's new all time high for this bull run. By now though it should be massive as we have been predicting like in the range of $150k-$180k or higher.

Back to the old ATH, I think some selling is inevitable but also any pullback is likely to be bought up.   Good to judge the strength by the way resistance is encountered and overcome, not that BTC never has selling but its often minor compared to demand.

I still wouldn't guess a new high just yet but Im often too apprehensive when BTC has a trend up and I admit there is a trend up but I estimate a longer time scale to any regular set of new highs right now.
     The market overall is more positive because of a less worse turn out on the recent tariff situation but some say we are due to sell and only speculators got us this far so fast hence the quality isnt there for higher;  roughly I think the same of BTC for now.

1 Bitcoin now = $109,200. It was $109,458 a short time ago from the current traded price. Even the price on May 16 also did not drop from the price of $100k
Which chart requires you to say the price of Bitcoin has decreased.
Just wait for the next few moments, the price of $109,588 as the highest price on the chart will be missed. The price of $109,458 to the price of $109,588 I hardly consider to have a difference.
