So to his interpretation, the man in question asked the OP it he can assist him with a transportation to reach his destination afterward he had lost the one with him on gambling with the hope he would win and get more money with him. So if the OP could assist his going transportation fare, maybe someone else out there could assist him coming back from the meeting.

But from his explanations and his attire I knew he wasn't lying about what he told me, I had to improvised for him to go immediately to the meeting place even though he was so angrily looking because he lost everything, this now drag my attention to this place to ask if gamblers can also be an angry people?

That ugly expressions you sees from gamblers when they looses their money on bet is not angry but being emotionally broken and disappointed of themselves that is why they can not react to it because there is no one to be blame for the course.
Although, there are still some stupid ones who unleashes their anger on their family or loved ones as a course of loosing values that took them unaware.

Well, I can't generalize this because everyone doesn't respond to Gambling the same way. It all depends on how you let it influence you. People who get deeply addicted develop character issues, some of them start dealing with anger and they become easily agitated, not because they are not trying to control it but the pain and regret they feel makes them act grossly. Gamblers aren't aliens, they are normal human beings like you and I, and as such I don't think they are excluded from expressing certain feelings such as anger, shock or surprised, just as demonstrated by the user you happened to have came across today at the betting shop. Because in the first place, that  person is a reckless individual, or probably an addict for him to have chose to gamble with the last money he had, with the intention of doubling his amount, knowing fully well that gambling is a game of luck.

Well, every gambler has different attitudes. Me, I'm not mad or going to be angry if I am lose and also if I have a meeting just like him why would I go to a betting to go all in? That's a bad idea and now end up to be angry and broke and now looking for some help. If I were him I might bet but just a small amount as past time until the meeting.

What I think here is he was expecting to make money on his bets while go all-in but the result is against his bets.
He may be planning to use the money to treat someone, which is why he is angry, or he may be using his last money and hoping to double it on betting but unexpected result he lose them all that's why he ends up finding someone to ask for help.

Well it is only natural for a gambler to get angry when they lose, personally I used to get really angry,mad and rage to myself as why I was so stupid to continue playing despite seeing that things were definitely going south. As for an angry man is always hungry I tend to disagree based on my personal experience as in that time after I was angry from the lost session I always wanted to just lay down on my bed, sleep and forget about what just happened. The real question should be is that person who gets angry after losing a true gambler, I would say no because a true gambler knows his odds are totally against him and he still decided to try his luck, in the end the real gambler calls it a day whatever the result and tries again as soon as he has another opportunity to do so.

Actually we can't judge that every gambler quickly gets angry, because I don't think all gamblers are like that. From what I've seen from personal experience or people around me who are gamblers, usually gamblers who get angry easily because they have many problems with their finances, while gamblers who don't get angry easily usually because they don't have problems with their finances. So the point is, someone who gets angry easily is when there is a problem, even this is not just about gambling.

Not all gamblers - the reason why he was angry was because he used money that wasn’t meant for gambling to gamble, thus the reason he had that expression on him.

Why did you post all that in plain English but then insert barely comprehensible African slang instead of just giving a converted explanation of what the person was saying? Getting back to the point, I've met plenty of people in life who get angry or aggressive with a varying trigger level, but the usual problem is they struggle to use reasoning or logic properly, which results in them feeling embarrassed that they do not know the answer to something. Anyone placing bets on virtual sports games is already in a losing situation and I don't know how they could even find it entertaining when the casino has complete control of the outcome. Your best bet is to just stay away from these angry people because they are not using very intelligent thought processes, even if you could give them a decent explanation.

There is logic in your words. When someone is depressed, even if you want to help them, it will still seem annoying to them. And if they are bothered by something, if you keep asking them about it repeatedly, then they will definitely get angry.
