Whenever I want to gamble, I do have it at tje back of my mind that I might lose my bet. This makes me to prepare my mind down for whatever outcome my bet will bring out. It also enable me to net wisely with little amount that wouldn't make me feel emotional when I lose the bet.

Gambling is both sides profit and loss, therefore, you must be prepared for losing and put little attention on winning your bet so that if it turns out go be a win, you'll be more excited.

This question is pretty basic. Of course everyone who gamble accept the fate of losing in the game. No one will not play unless their prepared for it. If they cant accept losses then better not to be a gambler or at elast gambling cause in this kind of industry. Losing is inevitable.

When I was new to gambling, that wasn’t my mindset at all. I started when I was still poor, so yeah… I wasn’t being realistic. I really thought I could make money from gambling. I had wins, but mostly losses, you know, the usual story.

Over time, I learned. I slowly let go of that dream and realized that gambling isn’t the way to financial success, especially if we’re talking about profit.

Luckily, I reached my goal of being financially stable  but through crypto, not gambling. Still, I owe something to gambling. It taught me how to take risks, and that mindset helped me a lot in life.

I fully understand that my chance of losing is very high but I don’t accept it as is like it was predetermined.

First, I can name any free entertainment today that will really make me fun. I just accept the fact that there is nothing free today. Even if you get something for free, you will either pay for it later, sacrifice with something, or there is always a sharp underwater stone.

Secondly, even among paid ways of entertainment, there are not many activities that I like will be fun for me. Majority of active entertainment I would leave for youngsters. Movie, bowling and things like that, its fun, but it require a company. Video games, toys - <insert Danny Glover too old for this sh*t meme>.

Generally, for me, gambling is relatively cheap and always available form of entertainment. I earn enough to allow myself to either throw a banknote in a fireplace or make a gambling deposit, and dont cry later about it

It depends what type of gambling I will do. If it's sportbetting, I expect to have my bets to generate profit. Though it still requires luck, analyzation skills work on these type of gambling activity.

While if it's like playing dice or slot games, I already accept before I gamble that my money will be gone after I play. No strategy work on these and will just make you desparate if you chase some wins.

It is because I have long understood that a casino is a place for pleasure and not for earning money that it has become easier for me to relate to losses in this place. The fact is that I have long considered it normal that there are more losses than wins in a casino, and it seems to me that everyone should at least admit this thought. But I do not want to say that this is bad, the fact is that it is quite an excellent hobby to do this: deposit 20 dollars and spend the evening playing poker or slots. And perhaps even a gambler who does this will be lucky. And he will leave not only with cheerful emotions but also with a win on his balance.

You must gamble with spare money or at latest you must be ready to trash your money that you want to gamble.
This is my second rule for " a good gambler ".

2° Play only an amount of money that you are ready to trash in the rubbish (litterally), because, if you play to win (like an all in) it's really hard to win in a long period of betting, also the skills of a better are every time stressed due the high risk.
 (The money management it's the best approach to a long period winning streak).

There are tons of risk when you gamble with money that you can't afford to lose. Probably this is the "main entrance" for other issues.
If you don't have the plan B (this mean = you can lose your bet) you must definitely revise your gambling strategy or not gamble at all.
This is one of the worst error I see in this section. People gamble without understand the risks and they are just complaining when they lose.

The fact that we tell our self that losses is part of the game doesn't mean as a gambler you should take unnecessary losses and end up wasting your money all in the name of gambling is risky. It's just a way for us to avoid being to attached to our games so when loss comes in, we just let go and move on to the next game. No body is happy they loss to a casino and sometimes it can be annoying when you place bets and loss and then you watch the games results of others making big wins. But then you just have to control your emotions by telling your self that it's all part of the game.

Accepting losses before it even happens makes you a mature gambler, any gambler that can't deal with losses isn't ready for it. Personally, any money I put into my bet account is considered to be lost, I just accept losses first so that incase it comes it doesn't hurt much, this has been my defense mechanism. Once you accept losses you would stop trying to avert or chase them because that it won't help

What do you mean as temporary? I mean the duration of time that you will not gamble. I will like to know. As for me, I do not gamble for like a week if I lost while gambling. I have tried it before several times by stopping for a day but I noticed the loss recovery is still in my mind and I continued to lose more than I expected. So this emotion just makee not to gamble until I get another weekly gambling budget and not take more than 1 to 2% from it.

Although this is a pretty general topic, I think it needs to be discussed, because it can be a reminder for anyone to keep their limits when gambling. I am a gambler who is prepared for the worst that will happen when I want to gamble, namely losing, so that if that really happens I can really control my emotions, and limit my game for a while. For some people it may still be difficult to do, but you have to get used to it, habits make you used to it, so that in the end you can control yourself completely, and become a responsible gambler.

You wouldn't enjoy gambling if you expect a return from it. Everytime you gamble, see your money as a payment to gain the satisfaction you get from gambling. A profit would just be a bonus and treat it like a refund then either you use it to gamble more or treat yourself in other ways you like.

People that see gambling as a way to earn money usually lacks source of income. They are in desparate need for money that they see it to solve their problem.

There's always the expectation to win that high multiplier one time, but I do accept the losses that will happen. In slots, there's no way a gambler could win with strategy, so you are just depending on getting that good stroke of luck, and maybe what we can gain will equal the amount that we lost, or maybe more.

I once made a good amount of profit because of a high multiplier that I won, but the wrong thing that I did was play more until I lost everything that I made. I think a winner will truly be a winner if a gambler could walk away after a win.

Definitely every gambler must stick to the mindset that to win you must lose countless times. Losing having fun is the reason why every gambler keep on the track. And of course this has been said repeatedly.

I don't think like such gambler. Those kind of gamblers that gamble and hope to beat the odd and make profit usually end up becoming aggressive gamblers. They often take betting too seriously like their life depends on it. And they end up getting a back lash.
