Well, I've seen some sites claiming Bitcoin adoption is higher among Nigerians than other cryptocurrencies. Yeah, that could be true, but in my opinion, I think most people in Nigeria who are into crypto don’t really know what Bitcoin is. Besides, they mostly trade various cryptocurrencies, not particularly just Bitcoin, but almost every cryptocurrency they can get their hands on. I could be wrong, but I think most Nigerians don’t hold Bitcoin that much, they do that really know what holding is all about but yes, we do have those who still hold it anyway.

About the North side, yes, there should be just as many people also into it.

Apart from meeting people in the forum here, i haven't really met people who are much interested in cryptocurrencies in real life, the people i meet most of the time are forex traders but if we are to check the statistics based on forum participation then we can navigate through this introduction thread by CryptopreneurBrainboss because a lot of local board members included their states of origin, there we can be able to ascertain the most dominant region from Nigeria in the crypto industry but on my own personal assessment, i think the South are the most dominant region. However, the number of people who are interested in cryptocurrency have increased in the country and even looking at the forum, almost every week we record newbies in the local board, it is a welcome development.

It's impossible for anyone to know this because there is no data evidence of survey carried out to get such information. You only know yourself that you are into bitcoin but you don't know about the other person. I found that post by CryptopreneurBrainboss a very interesting topic but can we really use it to ascertain which region in Nigeria is more interested in cryptocurrency? I will agree with you that the post can be used to ascertain the highest region in Nigeria that is involved in this forum but we here don’t even make up to a quarter of the amount of Nigeria involved in cryptocurrency and even some Nigerians here may have not taken part in that thread.
There are many Nigerian you know personally or on social media like telegram that are very active in cryptocurrency but not on the forum so I don’t think we would get an accurate answer using that thread. Another point to note is that exposure also plays a part. There are regions in Nigeria with a good amount of population but many of them are still backward in exposure and technological advancement but using myself as an example I know people involved in cryptocurrency from all major regions in the country so what I will say is state with a huge amount of cryptocurrency users and are still the most exposed state in Nigeria which are Lagos state, Rivers state and Abuja. But it is actually between Lagos and Rivers.

Though that is to my best of knowledge which I don't know if there is one but based on the derivative of economy structures and development as we may usually say that... Bitcoin is an evolutionary finance that is being transformed to digital technology is quite recognized easily on the developed countries, then I will go with the South region because they are regions attracting local and foreign investors due to the production of their mineral resources and infrastructures that is centered to be industrious.

Well here in Nigeria it is only the youth that are interested in Bitcoin investment the older once really don't want to know about Bitcoin because they feel is a scam especially since is an online investment and again they are not well knowledgeable with online things and the youth are many in this country and again at of 100 percent of youth in this country I think is only 30 percent that are interested or investing in Bitcoin reason being that when it comes to bitcoin investment you need money and may of our Nigeria youth are unemployed this is just the fact, good jobs are very few, the jobs that are most are jobs they will be paying you 30 thousand or 50 thousand now tell me how will this money be enough for you with the way things are becoming expensive day by day so is not easy at all, some people don't have discretionary income because there salary is not enough they still borrow in other to settle house bills.

Your are very right in your answer, I think we wouldn't know the actually number of persons that got interest in Bitcoin but for me, I will have to say that Nigerians generally love innovations and always want to learn new things they don't know no matter how difficult or complex it is,  we all know that Bitcoin is a great innovation and technology itself but the limitations most people are having in respective for them to pay much attention to this innovation called Bitcoin in Nigeria is our government approach towards it, just as you said, the government of Nigeria are not being straight forward in their actions so that alone can stand as a discouragement to many people who'll want to come in, so buddy I got what you are saying, I agree to all of it to the fullest,

Without any tangeable data in place, we can't really point to the region that has the highest number of bitcoin holders in the country. From the thread on the local board where introduction is being carried out, there seems to be more of people from a particular region of the country but that is not enough factor that can be used to ascertain which region has more bitcoin enthusiast than others.

The north are quite good at doing there thing on a low key without necessary being too loud about it, the southern, western and the easterners are more known to being loud which might make it look like they are more into bitcoin and bitcoin investment but the reality is that if actual figure is being computed, the reality might be a bit far from what most of us presume.

you have already made it clear that all our answers will be base on assumptions and that's the truth, because in Nigeria it will Very difficult for us to identify the region in which bitcoin is more popular and why bitcoin is popular in that region, and even if will try  and do some statistics to find out the region in which bitcoin is more Popular in Nigeria, if it will be possible to find out the region where bitcoin is more popular in Nigeria, finding out why bitcoin is more popular in that region will also be a very difficult thing.

Cryptocurrency is more widely adopted in the South West, South South and North West respectively, though there is no statistics to prove on this for any reason, but from how we have seen citizens participating from each region in p2p and interest in digital technology, we could go by the ranking I gave, but anything could change and I might be wrong and not accurate on this, while this is what I could give as my own personal observation regarding cryptocurrency in respect to each region in Nigeria.

Yeah, you are good on this observation and I must say that this people the southwest are the highest cradle of civilization in Nigeria, I mean, they are the first region to be educated and get the latest information before others, that's why you could see many Yoruba names on p2p trades most times, they got the information at first and they never waste time getting themselves involved.

There is no data available for this which can not let us know, but based on what I think, South generally trade bitcoin more than the people in the North but no research to make my point valid. West, East and South are really into cryptocurrencies. Also probably the Middle Belts.

Every region in Nigeria has a good number of individuals who are interested in Bitcoin.We can't say it is the North, South, East, or West because no Nigerian youths wing in a particular region have come out openly to say they are into Bitcoin investment. However, one way to get an idea of the number of Nigerians involved in crypto by location, sex, age, or whatever information you're looking for is to carry out an online survey. If you've money, you can create some sort of incentives to encourage more persons to participate. The government is still in a tight spot on cryptocurrencies, so if you are looking for Bitcoin accumulation, you should do so rather than looking at statistics. The number of people interested in Bitcoin is still at a high level according to my surroundings. Instead of waiting for real statistics, you should join Bitcoin buying events regularly.
At a glance, especially the price of Bitcoin is skyrocketing situation and in the near future will more high. You should not keep yourself indifferent in such a situation. You should keep it in accumulation regardless of external circumstances and plan and make positive financial arrangements for the future.

If we focus on a specific region, it must be a baseless focus. Because we do not have any statistics on which region of Nigeria is more popular with Bitcoin. I cannot even give any specific information about any region of my city. But yes, I know some traders who are involved in cryptocurrency, but how many people are involved with Bitcoin and how many people invest in Bitcoin is completely unknown. Well for the sake of answering this I think my suggestion will be Lagos city which is located in the west and the reason being is that it's the commercial hub of the entire country and it houses almost all type of people from different side of the country and I think they have also been reported viewing of Bitcoin ATM and so many businesses know for the acceptance of Bitcoin as a currency for payment in Lagos city.
