Political things aside, do you people really think this price is a win for Bitcoin? Do not get me wrong, it is WAY better than other assets whose value was static over the years and whose holders did not even earn the inflation back from. But in Europe at least, since the last All Time High the prices have exploded on all possible sides.
If I consider most prices exploded by at least 100 percent in the last years, this Bitcoin price is rather an adjustment to inflation and this thing that seems to be a recession we are all currently experiencing. I need to see a Bitcoin of at least 200 thousand if I want to start considering it a real win for us. Until then, I will be waiting and hoping for things to get better.
Trump did this, Biden did that, Europe did this, China did that. The whole world is seemingly heading the wrong direction, economically at least. It seems that everybody is desperately trying to prevent the REAL face of the economy from showing, through desperate measures. When these desperate measures have no effect any more, things will shit the fan REALLY hard all over the world. I still contradict exaggerations and really stupid arguments, but we should all be honest here, things are definitely not looking good and it is not a single politician or party to blame. It is all of them, they are all in the same despair!

While the policies of top countries like the USA can influence the price of Bitcoin, it is definitely not "under" the leadership of Trump or any other government agency. The concept of a decentralized currency is that it operates independently of any central authority.
You can also not attribute every price movement of Bitcoin to the action any president takes, some altcoins maybe but not Bitcoin.
Unfortunately, we are at a stage where every time bitcoin goes up, we try to attribute the bull to some influential person and since trump has been in the picture for this while, he's gain a lot of the accolade for every milestone bitcoin attain making it look like he now regulates and controls what happens to bitcoin price. When we try to merge politics with a system that is supposedly decentralised, it only tells that we are missing it all and giving accolades to the wrong system. Maybe it will make more sense that we talk about first all time high of the year or rather the most impressive all time high of the year but always attributing this bull to trump means that we are bringing to agree that bitcoin is no longer decentralised. Instead of being too fucosed on the whales, it's best to look out for the extent of adoption we have attained so far which is an indicator of how the future of bitcoin will be in the long run. The president will come and make policies and he will go but the individual investors are the one that will really stay with bitcoin for longer period of time.

People around BTC can only affect it to their own degree - depending on what levers they have, but they don't change the long-term perspective which is outlined by the BTC's values. Adoption leads to new heights, with or without figures like Trump around.

The price of a bitcoin is higher now, but let's see what happens to it when the recession caused by Trump's tariffs hits.
Are you saying the effects of the tariffs could lead to a bear market for bitcoin? Not at all. A recession at the hospital period would rather be of an advantage to bitcoin as a lot of people would want to hedge their money on such assets like bitcoin to retain value for it. Recall what happened with the post COVID-19 recession, it rather led to more bitcoin adoption pumping it to an ATH we never saw coming. Trump's tariff wouldn't be of any difference to bitcoin market. Before now Bitcoin price was not affected by economic conditions in some major economies. The global economic problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic made people invest more in Bitcoin. But this might no longer be the case this time because investors see gold as a better shield against inflation. There was a massive rush to invest in gold during the recent tariff war, while Bitcoin prices went down. The bitcoin market is now affected by economic policies like interest rates. A reduction of interest rates in the US usually contributes to an increase in the price of Bitcoin and vice versa. I am afraid that a recession in the US will likely affect the price of Bitcoin negatively.

Broader market indeed affects the crypto one - but not for long, it can't change the sentiment outright, only a chain of events of the same scale (or bigger ones) may turn the rally all the way back into the Bear phase.

Trumps leadership? Bitcoin already won the toughest battles in the past, when no one cares, when there was no ETF, that shows that Bitcoin can still survive without Trump..
What you don't get is China was already ahead of the United state when it comes to crypto, Trump just happen to see this earlier and decide to take over China, this country called China is not small, they are underrated in technology because they don't show off.
Ther are many technologies in China that the US don't have, they are clearly ahead of the United States, good for Trump for knowing this very early and using it to campaign, it's a big advantage, even for companies in the US, remember that some were already leaving? It's obvious that many voters will go for Trump.

What recession are you talking about? So, if in 2026 Bitcoin begins to dip we should blame it on policies from Trump when we all know the trajectory of Bitcoin that in the second year after halving that the bear season sets in? Let's not give a dog a bad name so we can hang it. From historical data, we should be expecting Bitcoin to take a dip in 2026 and the dip will be made worse in 2027. Then in 2028 which is another year before halving that the market will begin to rally up for recovery. It had been that way since I came into this space in 2017. The next circle may change, it may still not change, but that's the compass I use for navigation.

You will agree with me that after Trump Pro bitcoin campaign, bitcoin went so high and experienced a new ATH which was so impressive but however after being elected into power, trump took decisions which affected bitcoin so much (directly or indirectly). He's Tariffs against several countries became a negative influence on bitcoin it crashed down to 78k or below as I can remember. It was a very unpleasant journey for bitcoiners as far as I'm aware but however some people saw it as another opportunity to buy more which I'm also part of those guys who bought more.
Actually Bitcoin hit a new ATH under the leadership of Trump. Well whatever happens to Bitcoin in Trump led administration be it Bitcoin strategic reserved speech that lead to massive adoption or the Tariffs against several countries that lead to Bitcoin dip, all help people to make profit from Bitcoin. Because the tariff against different country caused Bitcoin to crash and made alot of people to buy the dip before Bitcoin rose again. One thing about Bitcoin is that every opportunity is always on profitable either it rise to increase the profit of your investment or it falls for you to accumulate more. Welcome to new ATH $112k let's expect more ATH.

Apart from showing himself as a pro-Bitcoin president, I don't see any other significant thing done by Trump to bring about this price pump. The confidence people have in Bitcoin has just increased greatly because there is a president who also loves Bitcoin. And this, I think, has given rise to the increased adoption and more buying. I am yet to see Trump's significant crypto policies, when I see one, I will commend his efforts. For now, Bitcoin is riding on Trump's influence.

Literally the best comment I have seen here. Let's be honest, Bitcoin is more like keeping balance, barely adjusting for the inflation and recession mess we are into. When I noticed the excitement after the new ATH that is when I knew people don't really do the math they just feel excited for any announcement above the previous ATH. Unless Bitcoin breaks above $200k it is not serving as a hedge, it is not protecting purchasing power yet. And yes, while it is better than gathering fiats in the bank that don't keep up with CPI inflation, I hope BTC start outperforming this economic downturn like it did in the past than just surviving them.

Unfortunately, we are at a stage where every time bitcoin goes up, we try to attribute the bull to some influential person and since trump has been in the picture for this while, he's gain a lot of the accolade for every milestone bitcoin attain making it look like he now regulates and controls what happens to bitcoin price. it goes the other way too when bitcoin drops people are quick to find the reason for it and this time it’s actually also trump when he pushed his tariff war still it’s true that bitcoin is now affected by political and economical factors but no central authority can still control it as it’s decentralized but it also doesn’t mean that it’s completely desensitized to external factors

Just as the title says, ever since Trump became president of the United States this is the very first All Time High we are seeing under his administration, the previous ATH was under Sleepy Joe and today which is the bitcoin pizza day bitcoin is on fire under the Musky Trumpeter leadership.
Hence it's very much impressive to see bitcoin hit new ATH under the Musky Trumpeter leadership. 112k as my new ATH probably the end for today, it's definitely a milestone.
It is a good milestone bitcoin has achieved, $112k is no joke, it further demonstrates the superiority of bitcoin to other digital assets that exists. Trump crashing the markets with his tariff bullshit was more political than actual, I can remember one of his tweets that says "Its time to buy" even before he relaxed the tariffs, more like he intentionally pulled the stunts to crash the markets as a settlement to those that supported him to get back in power so they can buy back cheaper. Those who bought the dips are in good profits already and I advise them to hold for longer. With the way things are going now, I see an ATH of $115k before the end of the month If not for Trump's controversial statements i think the price of bitcoin would have skyrocketed above $120k by now but each time the market is bullish that is when he brings up his tariffs drama but do we need to take his tariffs serious anymore? it is completely visible that Trump is just trying to spark an economic war that will crash the price of bitcoin but that is not gonna happen. Seems Trump is using his Tariffs to manipulate the market but investors are now being cautious not to sell even if the price falls because many people sold at lost when the price went down after he imposed tariffs on Chinese goods and some other countries, after the price got an ATH of $112k, most of those who sold their bitcoin then lamented their pain and now a lot of people are HODLing despite his treats to impose 50% on EU goods. We can actually reach an ATH of $115k before the end of the month, the market have shown every indication of further bull run, we all just need to be patient and watch the price break more ATHs.

I think that it's in the talks that even remittances will have 5% tax from US to the affected countries that they think should be taxable. I guess that people who send remittances will start to look for alternative and one of it is with Bitcoin. That's what I think will happen with all of these tariffs including the remittances from the foreign workers into their country because it seems that it's likely to happen. And as for the leadership of Trump hits the ATH and that's because it's in a cycle. So whoever becomes the next president of the US, we'll see new ATH again.
