My idea is to not only look at the payout but at the true probability behind a game. When the actual chance of winning is higher than the odds, know that you’ve found your perfect opportunity.

Thats a good strategy too. Always found a better chance to win even the prize arent that of favor since that usually what odds do and lure the players with the odds they give to general public. But sometimes its okay to bet on those to keep winning. Underdog has tight odds but if you trust on how they play then its good. Gotta need to trust.

High payouts strategy is for once just a realistic strategy that increaces the chances of variance in some cases,these financial records can be misused if it's not managed well;its a financial loss an it's oftentimes draining.

For the desire to profit bigger, they forget that the slim chance of winning when the odds almost double. Its better to parley matches where the odds are like 1.20, 1.15 and 1.10 than betting on a single match where you hope the team with a odds of 1.90 to win.

If I bet on such a game that has an odd of 1.2-1.4 odds and I manage to win twice with a bet of $100 I’d have a net profit of $40-$80 and if the next game doesn’t go well I’d loss $100 meaning I’m still at a loss despite winning my bet two times but if I go for higher odds and manage to win two times my profits from those wins would be able to sustain my losses for a couple of times compare to when you stake high on a little odds - that’s the main reason why people don’t like going for smaller odds and just prefer risking it for greater rewards.

Literally the ideal of way of betting is by looking at the possible outcome of a game not just the odds. I am surprised to hear a lot of gamblers betting based on odds rather than the possible outcome.

Betting based on low odds like 1.50 may seem safe, because it is low but it often offers poor returns and doesn't guarantee lesser risk.

As we can't exactly predict the outcome, luck surely will be a part of it. Especially if you are dealing with both strong teams. Would be hard to know the outcome, thus, it is better to choose another betting line with more likelihood of winning. At the end of the day, it is the strategy of the bettor himself, higher or lower odds. Which does he think he can really win? Because it is how you feel about the game. Higher payouts means higher risks. So are you going to take such route even if the winning chances are lower? That's for you to decide as a bettor. But on my end, I would prefer to win even if the multiplier is low. At least I can prolong the game by using the winnings again and maybe earn a small profit out of it rather than nothing at all.

You're just stating the obvious here man. Of course I have a better chance at winning if I place a bet on a lower odds payout. Just like saying you have an almost guaranteed win betting at 1.01 odds, but shit happens in sports. If you just bet the low odds you are just fooling yourself IMO.

I like to look at stats, previous games between the 2 teams in the current season, injured players, trades that happened, weather, and lastly the odds. Sometimes it's worth betting the underdog and taking points in some sports.

Keep betting on underdogs is also helpful few years back I was in group were mostly members were doing same, and they never ended in lost because usually they have done some work then spotted underdogs which have good chance even their ratio of success was not good but still I never have them in loses.
But trends always have changes after losing this group I have some changes but give serious problems because most I was doing things without any stats and checking but recently again after having access to few sites which giving good details things are taking changes.
Checking stats and also having all updates before putting money always increase chance of win, but my experience with underdogs are always good and giving better profit.

For me, the OP's statement is obvious. If two equal teams play, it is difficult to predict the results with confidence in one direction. There is no need to talk about the feeling of mentality here; rather, I would appeal to reason. Isn't it obvious that a strong team in a game with a weak one has more advantages, and the victory of the weak team will be an unexpected result? I didn't understand why there was so much text. It's an obvious strategy. There's just no need to reduce everything to coefficients. It's just confusing. In fact, this is a statistical factor. It's even easier to say that these are bets on favorites versus underdogs. But I remember from my own experience that I won much more when I massively bet small bets on draws in matches with the underdogs. So this recipe of yours for sure winnings is by no means a "golden ticket".

I somuch accept your view this, i come to the conclusion that you truly understand this game, peope just center there mind on what you mentioned which is there potential returns and the odd alone but failing to recognize the actually thing to do to be able to get a likely possible good outcome of their bet even though am among those that believe in luck paving way for gamblers to win no matter what, i still believe that a gambler is suppose to make some analysis like head to head of the teams involve, there current form, both teams teams results when they met at each other's home, then when a gambler have gathered all this informations, he or she may arrived at a possible outcome of the match, so you're very much on point in this.

I would always go for the starts or would be checking out specially if its a close match. It will be just that too impossible that you can be able to check when it comes into those numbers on which this is where
analytical skills will goes into work on which will be the main basis on where you do made up your choices. Somehow, there are those conditions or times that instincts do really kicked in on which sometimes its that hard to control and you do usually made out some bets basing up into your instinct. There are those inner voices that would be disrupting out your analysis that had been made.

I dont made out some calculations about winning rate on which it will be always that 50-50 yet there's one winner and one loser. Despite on having that strong team against the weak, then i do always presume out about  the chance or probabilities about on having that upset. This is why its important that whenever you do made out some choices then instead on making yourself that getting stressful about on how to win. Why we cant just that enjoy up on choosing on which we do seems that it would be able to win up the match? I will not bet direct win on odd as small as what Madrid gets or Barcelona against small teams. If Madrid is playing team in relegation zone with odd like 1.20 & 7:40 for the relegation team, I will bet on goals like ov 2.5. That can produce odd bigger than direct win. I just don't like to risk with odd as small as 1:20 or 1:15. So if Madrid or Barcelona is playing with a ridiculous odd like the type they would be given if they were playing with Las Palmas or Valladolid because they are on relegation area, I will bet on goals not direct win because it can be risky since the match may be sold out or not taken seriously. My strategy is mostly on goals that will be produced in a match and not really about who wins.

Brilliant post, most gamblers only chase wins but they forget about building their mindset, this is the reason why they have psychological break downs whenever they lose, some can even dive deep into chasing their losses which leads to more losses. Only if Real Madrid really have 80% winning chance against weak teams and the bettors can hold their hand to not multiply their stake. But, I see Real Madrid don't really have 80% winning chance and the odds could vary from @1.60 to as low as @1.10.

Usually when people are betting on low odds, they're keep increasing their stake for the next bet.

Let's say they start from $100, they bet on odds @1.50 and they now have $150. If they want to bet on the next match, instead of stake $100, they stake $150 and will keep increasing.

However, there’s also some low odds that is not worthy to take the risk since you can still lose big even on the smallest odds therefore some sports bettor choose a decent odds games given that both high and low odds still has a chance to lose.

For me, it’s a matter of choosing a quality bet based on the team involved especially if it’s not an underdog vs favorites match that frequently has a one sided odds.
