Everyone feels bad when they lost money mate, so video games is not that a exception. But there could be some of us we really are into this kind of one on one games and they got a kick on playing against each other and beating them with money on the line. And this kind of games have evolved a lot since late 2019 if I'm not mistaken. As there are a lot of money right now, in millions, individuals or teams events and it's country vs country. And if I'm not mistaken, it has even been discussed if this kind of games could be considered sports or it could be included in the Olympics.

A very interesting point: e-sports Olympics would be really cool, and I believe that in the future, with greater popularization of this sports modality, it will be totally feasible. Here in my country (Brazil), we’ve even had video game tournaments broadcast on cable TV channels, meaning there is a market, and it is highly competitive and profitable. I think it’s just a matter of time before it’s truly recognized as a real sport, since it requires skill and a lot of training to stand out, just like a conventional sports athlete.

Such tournament already exist and is called World Cyber Games. But with time, it has become less interesting, as I see number of games were cyber athletes compete has decreased. When I was very interested in video games, this tournament was really like Olympic games. At my country there were qualifying games, and winners receive tickets to finals. Look at WCG 2008. 800 cyber athletes from 78 countries. Such tournaments exist even now, but instead of countries, teams and individual players compete against each other.

I am not playing video game for money because that can make feel bad losing the money. Video game is for have fun with friends or family members in my free time. But if you feel good doing that, you can still playing video game for money. I have a place to spend my money by playing games which is casino. I'd like to know if I'm the only one who has the habit of playing video game matches for money. I usually play Street Fighter 6, and almost every week there are money matches in a best-of-10 format, with stakes ranging from $2 to $10. The matches are usually streamed live on Twitch and YouTube, where viewers can donate to add to the total prize pool for the winner... It's pretty interesting, and when money is on the line, the matches feel completely different.

According to your statement i think it is like e-sports. I don't have any experience in such bet how you are talking about. To be honest I am very interested in casino games and my favorite game is Blackjack and I also bet on football and cricket. Many people have suggested me to bet on boxing but I am very weak there too I understand boxing very little. But as you said I have no previous experience on it because I have never bet on anything like that before.

I just don’t believe that these sorts of platforms are reliable or trustworthy. There just seems to be too many ways for things to go wrong. I do look forward to the day that Microsoft has betting implemented into their Xbox Live platform. That would be a massive game changer and if you could bet Bitcoin it would be a mass adoption event.

I'd be a donator at this stage in life as I haven't really played video games in years unless you count ancient stuff like nintendo and super nintendo. Old 8 bit and 16 bit stuff from my childhood. Might be kinda cool to watch some matches though.
