Alik Bakhshi Russia's Nightmare Returns Top Secret (at the insistence of his wife) In 1983, Ronald Reagan, in order to ensure America's safety from the Evil Empire, which threatened to incinerate America with ballistic missiles, gave the go-ahead to finance a vast, expensive research program called the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), known as Star Wars. The program envisaged the placement of hundreds of satellites in near-earth orbit, capable of destroying long-range ballistic missiles as they entered outer space. This circumstance shocked the Kremlin. In the state with a planned economy in the 80s, something unimaginable was happening, goods began to disappear from stores, even matches became scarce. I remember Doctor of Economics, Academician Aganbekyan, explaining to the population on TV that matches were not planned in the required quantity by mistake. But then, following the matches, food products disappeared from the store shelves. Oil was distributed among organizations, because it was not freely available. In the Evil Empire, where the main products were missiles, bombs, airplanes, and other deadly products, there was not enough money to produce goods and products for the population. Due to the decline in world prices for oil, which was the main source of foreign currency, the purchase of vital goods for the population ceased. And then there was SDI, damn it three times. In short, there was nothing to be done to avoid hunger riots. Gorbachev went to bow to the hated West, which ended with the destruction of the epochal Berlin Wall. In the photo, a sad Gorbachev and a smiling Reagan. The Cold War ended with a convincing victory for the West. It seemed that the confrontation between the West and the East had sunk into oblivion forever. The West sent food to the starving population, but Bush's legs were not enough for the entire population of the vast empire. Moscow decided not to tempt fate and let the so-called union republics go free, following the allies of the Warsaw Pact. The Evil Empire had died. As KGB Lieutenant Colonel Putin later said, a catastrophe of universal proportions had occurred, referring to the collapse of the USSR. The assumption that if the communist ideology had proven unviable and led the country to collapse, then Russia had no choice but to choose the democratic path, turned out to be a big strategic mistake for the West. The long-awaited victory in the Cold War blinded the leaders of Western democracy to the processes taking place in Russia. The suckers of Western democracy, not taking into account the mentality of the Russian people with their relict imperial worldview, believed that democracy had been irrevocably established in Russia, and contributed to the restoration of its economy. (1) How can one not recall the saying: giving milk to a snake is the same as storing poison in it. They did not see a dictator and fascist patriot in the former Chekist Putin. By the way, do not consider this as bragging or self-promotion, but as soon as Putin found himself in the Kremlin, I predicted that Putin's appearance was not accidental and would have fatal consequences not so much for Russia as for the World. (2,3) It must be said that all attempts by Russian young democrats, who were entirely of non-Russian nationality, to oppose Putin in the struggle for power were doomed due to the incompatibility of the mentality of the Russian people with the principles of democracy. (4,5) In other words, Russia, having rejected democracy, which the Russian people cannot stomach, for the reason that empire and democracy are incompatible concepts, has set a course back towards empire. (6) In short, the Tsar-father appeared, dispersed the oligarchs who themselves brought him to power, curbed the verbosity of the young democrats, drenched Chechnya in blood, built a vertical of power, calling it sovereign democracy, that is, democracy for the sovereign, liquidated the beginnings of Yeltsin's democracy, turning the elections into a farce, and thereby saved the remnants of the empire. And all this before the eyes of the West, silently looking at "Putin's friend" (as the political amateur Bush Jr. called him). And today the democrats are racking their brains over how to appease the now fascist, Putler (7,8) in his revanchist frenzy to return Ukraine to the bosom of the empire. The current situation is a mirror image of Europe on the eve of World War II, when England and France, fearing to provoke Hitler into a major war, appeased the aggressor with Czechoslovakia, and they got this war. Putin's plans to establish a new world order and revise the political map of Europe are in principle no different from Hitler's revanchist aspirations, and Putin himself is not much different from the German Fuhrer, except perhaps for his disproportionately large lie. (9) It took three years of brutal war for the leaders of European states to realize the seriousness of the threat, quite reasonably foreseeing that the Russian monster would not stop after devouring Ukraine, because without war the Russian Empire was doomed to perish. By the way, Putin himself has nothing to fear for his power in a war, and even more so if the war is successful, which the revanchist had no doubt about. Putin was not mistaken in the strategy of the chosen path, democratic countries, and especially European ones, were absolutely not ready for a war with such a powerful state as Russia. Of course, Europe, lulled by the victory in the Cold War, did not foresee such a turn of events. Almost throughout the entire post-war period, the EU countries did not deal with security issues, and Trump is right in accusing Europe of cutting its defense budget. True, Trump, having crossed the threshold of the White House, attempted to repeat Europe's past historical mistake and appease the aggressor with part of Ukraine's territory, but fortunately for Ukraine and Europe, this venture failed. Putin's plans include the entire Black Sea coast of Ukraine, and better yet, all of Ukraine. Having realized the hopelessness of his promise to stop the bloodshed, Trump decided to completely avoid fulfilling his promise, throwing out a phrase that let the EU and Russia solve their own problems. It is likely that the American president has decided to focus on his other campaign promise - to make America Great. But it seems that his entourage has hinted that it is also impossible to fulfill without eliminating the threat from Russia. I dare to assume that the White House reminded Donald Trump how Ronald Reagan literally in an instant brought Moscow to heel, and now Donald Trump is immediately giving the go-ahead for the allocation of huge funds to resume work on the SDI program. Considering Russia's colossal lag in space flights and the catastrophic state of its economy, it is useless for Moscow to even think about an adequate response to this challenge. How can one not recall Putin's famous phrase, "there are no analogues to such weapons." If in Reagan's time many scientific and technical issues had to be resolved in order to successfully implement the SDI program, today America does not have such a problem, which will greatly reduce the time it will take to turn SDI into a reality that is terrible for Putin's Russia. A reality that will end with the final collapse of the Evil Empire, which will shrink to Muscovy and many colonial peoples will gain freedom. Well, and Putin himself will at best end up in The Hague, if he does not suffer the fate of Gaddafi before that. 1. Suckers of the Western economy. https://alikbahshi.livejournal.com/127536.html2. It is well-written but I would need to point out some caveats to this: a) If you look at the practical implications of having an SDI, it comes out that the US actually would need spend a massive budget to get a realistic strategic defence against threats from Ruzzia or China. The math is simple, you'd need either 2 interceptors for each nuclear warhead (not missile, but warhead) if you intend to have a good chance of defending in the terminal phase. This is the actual THAAD which is limited to protecting ONE zone only by a treaty with Ruzzia (which in turn only protects Moscow with their nuclear based interception system). Ruzzias nuclear warhead count (not counting the decoys!) ranges in the thousands (5500 roughly). An interceptor cost is more than 1 Billion (B not M). Just multiply (again, if you can tell a real warhead from a decoy). That is 5500 x 1 billion x 2 = 110 Trillion USD and that is without detection.Given that US GDP is 27 trillion.... well, I guess I am making myself clear. You can argue that the Israeli Arrow 3 is much cheaper, but you would not be able to cover a large territory as they seem limited to 1500 (AKA Iran distance). If you want to try intercepting in at the early stage of the launch, the technical problems, ability to detect and track... an expensive and extemely complex problem requiring several hundreds of satellites and ability to intercept deep into Ruzzia or at any point in the sea including the artic. b) You can however create a partial protection against North Korea, Iran or the like, but still quite expensive. That is doable, but does not negate China's nor Ruzzia's strategic force. Overall, SDI has always been a wet dream of the Pentagon and now, another of Trump's unfeasible promises. https://2009-2017.state.gov/t/avc/trty/101888.htmIn the Treaty on the Limitation of Anti-Ballistic Missile Systems the United States and the Soviet Union agree that each may have only two ABM deployment areas,1 so restricted and so located that they cannot provide a nationwide ABM defense or become the basis for developing one. Each country thus leaves unchallenged the penetration capability of the others retaliatory missile forces. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intercontinental_ballistic_missileThe Israeli Arrow 3 system entered operational service in 2017. It is designed for exo-atmosphere interception of ballistic missiles during the spaceflight portion of their trajectory, including those of ICBMs.[3] It may also act as an anti-satellite weapon.

Yes, that is clear. My objection is only about the economic and techncial feasibility of a comprehensive SID. Ukraine is not only hitting strategic aviation, they are now hitting F31s, which have the capability of launching Khinzals. The F31 is a very capable Jet, some of them able to launch anti-satelite missiles and - just like the Bears and A-50s, they can no longer be replaced by the US. Modern Ruzzian jets have air-to-air capabilities that are relatively advanced and long range missiles, but the F31 can do a few tricks the new guys cannot.

Note that it is all in the topic title. It was simply a nightmare. When is the world going to awaken out of Russia's nightmare as the Russians have. You can see it in the little bit of damage they have done to Ukraine, rather than simply wiping Ukraine from the Earth. Anybody who thinks that Russia doesn't have a counter to Reagan's Star Wars is living in a delusional illusion.

That is false information, Ruzzia has not launched even a remotely close figure. However, that is what Ali is saying, everything in life has consequences. Supporting Putin or being in a semi-zombified state like most of the Ruzzian population carries a price. As a friend of mine said "if you don't do politics, politics is done onto you". So Ruzzian people are just following through this nonsensical war and will pay the price. In terms of the population, Ruzzia is already paying the price: a contry in population decline with an economy depending on oil exports only.

Is this what you read from mainstream news again so that your propaganda brain gets a dose of hopium? They will replace those, and efforts for next generation strategic aircraft have been underway long before this war started. That is false information, Ruzzia has not launched even a remotely close figure. So who is lying, Russia that they launched 500 drones or Ukraine that claims to have downed 460 of them? Paxmao you really are one of the more stupid NPCs in this section.

Again, you neglect deeper thought. Russia doesn't need nuclear bombers any longer. They have nuclear missiles and subs if they need nukes. They also have the laser that is taking out drones and enemy aircraft. And Russia will only be strengthening them. Russia won't be producing any such 'backwards' bombers as those that were destroyed. They are-building/have-built next generation bombers that are far in advance of those that were destroyed. And with the strength of China and North Korea behind them, and the Israel-Iran war increasing oil prices, Russia is sitting in a stronger and stronger position all the time. Nobody can sanction Russia out of world economics.

If the roles were reversed, and Ukraine was the one that has been building the next generation bombers for some time now already they would be celebrating it. Instead they are dismissing it, because they can't stop drinking kool-aid. The attack was significant, but these bombers are very old technology and the few that remain would eventually stop working anyway. Each successful attack is an expensive lesson, but they are adapting and learning fast.

Interesting, two different stlyles to try to negate what happened. Ruzzias nuclear deterrent is based in first and second strike capabilities. It requires, bombers, missiles and submarines. That is the Ruzzian doctrine. https://www.esd.whs.mil/Portals/54/Documents/FOID/Reading%20Room/Science_and_Technology/06-F-0446_DOC_10_The_Nuclear_Weapons_Policy_of_the_Russian_Federation.pdfThis document states that Ruzzian military give top priority to nuclear deterrence and are developing "delivery methods". That is true. That these methods will ever reached daylight or an industrial scale... I doubt it very much. Putin’s office released “On the Fundamentals of the State Policy of the Russian Federation in the Field of Nuclear Deterrence,” a document on Russian nuclear strategy that focused on preemption to avert an incapacitating first strike and highlighted nuclear doctrine concentrating on guaranteeing deterrence and less on nuclear intimidation.55

~ The best source is The Military Summary Channel - https://www.youtube.com/@militarysummary/videos.It's Kinda boring, but the updates are the best... but only if one has something to think with. tvbcof probably doesn't want me to bring him into this, but he would probably agree. Maybe he has better. Note that Ukraine, for all their military prowess, and all the help from the West, has not been able to retake the Black Sea Corridor from Russia. Maybe tomorrow? The best they seem to be able to do by today is terrorist-like activities. Why terrorist? Because you could probably call guerilla tactics terrorism. If your source is someone who gives automatic credibility to the war reports of Ruzzia and the official narrative then of course you are going to be making really stupid claims about this and that. Again, the "Black Sea Corridor" is in constant use by Ukraine, the Ruzzia fleet after loosing the Moscova, Snake Island and quite a few expensive ships has simply withdraw well away from Ukranian Neptunes and drones. Your narrative as usual is simply that, a narrative. You place me in such a quandary... Lol. Solomon said, Proverbs 26:5,6: "Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you yourself will be just like him. Answer a fool according to his folly, or he will be wise in his own eyes." What does it matter to me if you are wise in your own eyes? Lol.

I consider his wisdom at that moment far bigger than yours interpreting literally the Christian mythology. Iran was supplying Ruzzia with weapons. I wonder if they can still or if anyone is really willing to do so since Israel demonstrated how easy is to kill their commanders.

Was your uncle always blonde, or did he just grow that way after using his comb for a long time? The sanctions against Russia are not sanctions as far as Russia is concerned. They are simply a long string of attacks, for more than a hundred years, where the West has been trying to conquer them. They're used to it, and are preparing as usual for more attacks. Search on, "Who financed the Bolshevik Revolution."
