Wanted to use Mexc due to it's lowest fees. But can't. Anyone as cheap?

I'm in Canada, so they don't allow me to join. I also hold a European passport. I was thinking of going to my embassy to get my passport that is allowed to pass the ID verification. But no idea if they would do address or not verification also. Seems like this won't work in the end maybe? If it does, and doesn't require address I'd be okay. I wouldn't use a VPN but a VPS.

It was 0.02% before for takers and 0% for makers on both spot and derivatives before but everything has changed.

I am still able to use MEXC without KYC.

I still trade on good exchanges with a fee not more than 0.05% for takers and 0.02% for makers.

That means it is cheaper with conditions. In fact, there are some exchanges that even offer almost free fee rates if for high loyalty users

This obviously does not mean the information is wrong, not everyone is an MX holder and you need 500 MX to qualify for the discount, if you do not qualify, then the fee posted above is what you are going to pay.

You can use Mexc without submitting kyc, only that you are limited to a daily withdrawal of 10 BTC per day and you wouldn't enjoy the benefit of Fiat trading.

In both tier of KYC'd accounts, they won't ask for an address verification, see: https://www.mexc.com/learn/article/17827791509561, and they probably still has no-mandatory kyc account tier as well.

But like with other custodial exchanges, there is always a chance they could ask for more information including a proof of address. Your activities are always tracked by them and god knows what will trigger it. I've seen enough horror stories from folks getting their funds locked by exchanges. I wouldn't risk it especially with huge amounts.

Your activities are always tracked by them and god knows what will trigger it. I've seen enough horror stories from folks getting their funds locked by exchanges. I wouldn't risk it especially with huge amounts.

It is a centralized exchange which makes you right but when I mistakenly did not off my VPN and the location was set to United States, the exchange immediately changed my account to withdraw only and advice me to withdraw if I will not complete KYC. I left the exchange for awhile and register another account but I did not use VPN set to United States with it anymore and all has been good. Bit I am only using my sim (IP address) to visit the site now.

I wouldn't risk. Even with VPS, those exchanges have other ways of gathering your data in the background, especially to do with your location just by looking at their privacy policy.
