This will entirely differ from person to person. I mean, if the money they gamble is within the budget of their gambling fund and it is a money they can afford to lose and they keep a healthy gambling habit, I don't see anything wrong with it. Personally, I wouldn't gamble every day, but instead I would save the money up and gamble using those saved-up funds when I feel like gambling.

You already answered your question without knowing, you said, we are enjoying gambling while we lose because we are having fun in it, so if this actually applies to us, there's no regrets in losing as we gamble, we can lose $20 a day or even more and below the said amount, all that matters is our affordability in having fun, so I will like us to be back the the basis on why we gamble, was it to have fun or to make money, this as well may justify our actions towards our daily loss, but also know that we don't lose everyday, sometimes we also win.

If you are having then you are not wasting money because entertainment is the main purpose of gambling. You are gambling for a chance to win so it’s just a bonus if you win since your main goal is to have fun.

It’s a matter of POV on how you will use your money. Your money your rules. Other people will think it’s a waste but if you are happy doing it then nothing is waste.

For my perspective, I don't see you completely waste money if you're spending $20 a day and genuinely enjoying yourself. On movies, drinks or gaming people spend more than that. I consider it to be simply another kind of paid entertainment as long as it stays within your boundaries and does not negatively influence your life. Depends on the person if they are capable to lose that amount. Since there are gamblers which that amount is big for them to lose. Also there's no fun in losing that's why people should consider to assist the situation to determine on how much they are capable to let go.

Also it depends on the situation since there are times that I placed risky bets like betting $20 in one bet that situation is no fun especially if I lose.

But if it happens that I bet small amount and I manage to prolong my game time then with this I can say that even losing $20 still everything is worth it especially that I enjoy what I'm currently playing.

$20 per day amount to $600 per month and is more than what over 60% of workers earn in many countries. In my country, it is even high paying jobs that pay that much and anyone who can afford that amount is deemed to be rich. Let's assume a gambler from a rich country like the US is constantly losing that amount daily, what will be the source of the fun? Maybe it can be idea to pretend to be catching fun just to minimize the effect of the pain you would have felt for such a terrible gambling addiction. If you are constantly losing in gambling, simply excuse yourself and re-strategize because what you are using to gamble is definitely not working.

Will say it's a waste because having to spend $20 every day means in 1 week $140 so obviously it's a waste for the sake of gambling --- I can't justify by playing gambling but with a positive experience then this will be more of an addictive impact of spending money every day to gamble.

No that’s not a waste if you are having fun. Do you consider it a waste of money every time you watch a movie at a theater? (You might only if the movie you watched was bad) No. The same logic applies. As long as you are having fun, you are getting what you paid for.

If you are not getting any fun and you don’t like to lose money too, then the solution is simple; stop playing.

I like to watch my favorite team’s games and make bets on it because it gives me more entertainment that way. It is like a multiplier. I already have fun watching my team without making any bets and when I do, it triples the fun I am getting. It is awesome.

Well if someone has a lot of money, I think losing $20 isnt gonna make him bleed or cry for a loss. Most rich people are losing way more than that but still accept it since they literally doing it to have fun but for normal people like me it would definitely be a burden in the long run and might lead to addiction. Its not good to be on the losing side but addiction rendered it impossible not to.

20$ a day is definitely too much for me, but I'm relatively poor compared to the people who joined the Bitcoin bandwagon earlier, so I think that I'm not the best person to talk about how much is too much and how much is not.

I can perfectly imagine a scenario where someone with enough spare money who enjoys gambling spends 20$ and 200$ daily (perhaps 2,000$ is quite extreme, but there will be cases), if he can afford to lose it and it doesn't cause great damage to their finances. Well, it's different for everyone, some people have the amount they can be able to lose every day but not as much as $20, while some person can as well lose more than that in a day. So, whether some people are losing up to that amount or more than that amount on a daily basis, if they are having fun doing it and they are also able to make more than that money they spend, then it's okay. This amount is truly huge amount if you total it in yearly basis however this hypothetical question probably just seeking some opinion on the outcome of being fun in exchange for 20$ loss per day.

By the definition of waste, yes I think it is. Even if you have the money in excess, throwing such an amount on a daily basis, all in the name of fun, is still considered to be a waste. You are rich... $20 in a day Is nothing to you... Consider it to still be a waste. You don't find it useful, you can't give it out, but you feel it can go in exchange for something that looks fun to you, is still considered to be a waste.

That's literally from my own perspective though, but at the end of the day, everyone should know what's best for them.

It won't be fun anymore if I lose that money for the entire week with the same amount everyday. Maybe a day or two and I had fun, then I won't feel bad about that. Although it might not be much for most with that amount to lose per day. But we all live in different walks of life so someone who's earning minimum wage and losses that amount won't have fun with it. And those that can avail to lose that money, they'll just have fun and treat it as a payment for the entertainment that they have got. They might throw money on it but that's how it is acceptable for them.

Like I said, it will differ from person to person. If you feel like gambling every day and the money you gamble is within your budget, and it is money you can afford to lose, then go for it, if not, then don't. If gambling brings you entertainment and makes you happy, then that is the justification, and feeling entertained and happy is the benefit you get from that daily $20 loss.

You need to make a schedule how many time you gamble weekly so you will not waste your money in gambling. Even if you only use $10 daily, that will cost you $300 monthly.

If you can allocate $250 to other things you have and leave $50 for your gambling habit, you save much money and fills other things. But if you can have a schedule for your gambling habit, that will prevent you from using more money because you know your limit and will not break it.

$20 a day is $7300 a year, so if you lose the 20 every single day you are losing a pretty decent amount of cash. Ideally breaking even on the year or winning a little over the year would be great if you are purely gambling for entertainment, but I don't know how realistic of a goal that would be given the amount you have per day. My opinion is I would rather bet $100 every Friday night on a sporting event, at least there I feel like I have better odds.
