TBH i have not thought about $120k, but now that we are at $110k, that is the next landmark. I can tell you for sure that we are in for an interesting bull run, Trump and his policies might slow things down in between, but i think we are definitely going to see bitcoin above $150k this year.

this is quite a bold prediction to be honest i feel that reaching $150k this year would be a challenge already so to go above that would surely be a lot harder unless there is an event or some sort of news that could really excite the community and drive the market forward and i am not talking about news we have heard multiple times before there has to be something so bizarre and shocking to make bitcoin reach insane levels of value

This month Bitcoin has grown a lot and has been able to create new ATH in the market, which was really interesting, it has grown rapidly. However, if we look at the market candles now, it has moved down a lot but it may be a temporary decline. But next month, the Bitcoin market has a tendency to rise much higher, touching 120 is not a difficult task that the Bitcoin market can run at any moment. I think since the market has been dumping a little at the moment, it will not be prolonged but may be for a short period of time and the market will rise again later. However, in 2025, there is a possibility that the Bitcoin market will cross $150k, and crossing $120k may be next month.

Many people are even confident that bitcoin can easily reach $200k this year, while you are even skeptical about $150k?

I also wish bitcoin would hit $180-200k because that gives us better returns but honestly I agree with you. It is no small and easy challenge for btc to reach $150,000, let alone it will achieve a bigger increase.
We need to know, bitcoin is already one of the 5 largest assets in the world and has a market capitalization of more than 2 trillion dollars, so its growth rate will be significantly slower than an asset with a market capitalization of only a few billion dollars. We should not be greedy and demand it to increase by 100%, 200% or 500% in a short time like before. Bitcoin is a mature asset, no longer pump and dump asset it once was.

Bitcoin has recently dumped a bit after making a new ATH, and it is currently at 105K, but this is definitely a temporary decline, there is a high possibility of seeing Bitcoin at 120K next month. There is no reason to panic about this current small dump, Bitcoin will recover from such dumping very soon, so you should think about buying more during this dump. With the rate at which Bitcoin acceptance is constantly advancing, Bitcoin will gain a much larger place than people expect. The tariffs easing up might have helped the markets to breach that 110K , but unfortunately currently markets are getting a beating and we aren't sure if this is just some normal retracement happening aka a pullback to build momentum that will propel it to register a new ATH..or markets are bleeding  For now no need to panic as we have seen this scene one too many times..a rebound will certainly come.

It seems that bitcoin's move towards $120K will slow down further considering that the price has corrected to $104K. The market looks red and this has caused the crypto market cap to drop - but we never lose hope about the market recovery. The price could fall further due to high selling pressure - but it would be great if bitcoin can maintain support above $100K until June.

Crypto market cap is down over 4% as I write - while bitcoin has lost over 4% of its price in the last 7 days. Especially today - I don't see any potential for a quick recovery, the market is reacting in panic to mixed news.

I don’t know why people are always in rush, if you are investing in bitcoin, then don’t always be in rush to make profit, always have patience. I don’t think anyone will be able to tell you when bitcoin will hit $120k, let’s just keep on observing the market, when the time comes, we are going to see bitcoin at the price. If you are planning to hold bitcoin, then your target should be for long term, if you are planning to hold for long term, then you won’t be disturbed about when bitcoin price is going to reach a certain price.

When bitcoin broke the $100K mark and at the speed at which it was moving and also cleared out the $110K mark, no one would ever thought the momentum will slow down like this and we won’t see the market already broken $120K by now already. The market since yesterday have been on a downtrend again and what I see from this is just another consolidation which is part of the market and we’ve witnessed it overtime before we got to this level we are now.

The market is still very much on the bullish trend and we would continue to see another bull momentum in the market after sometime from now. This year is still not halfway yet and many anticipation shows that the market will be on an uptrend throughout this year, so it’s not yet time to lose hope in the market that the bearish market is here, and $120K will soon be an history for Bitcoin to hit soon.

If we break into free area above the ATH then 200k isnt too much to see this year but it would be rushed to do so as I dont expect proper momentum until the final quarter comes around.
  My reasoning is experience and for some reason the greatest volume can come through in the last part of the year, I have been watching for twenty years or more and it would only be a repeat if this were the case.
  What was the multiple applicable to the last ATH and the prior ATH before that, if we did carry that over again in a similar fashion then it makes for large numbers being feasible even if we cant know for sure.  


BTC can reach 120k today, its that volatile and the supply is not there to feed demand globally just needs a reason why BTC.  Dollars is ever popular and a constant competitor even when questioned.

We are currently seeing bitcoin at $104k and it dipped down almost everyday, but recovery is fast enough until we will hit $120k resistance level sooner. However, there’s still no fixed date or time when we’ll be going to witness it eventually, but we all know it’s highly possible to happen.

Right now, I’m more expecting price retracement prior to bitcoin reaching another all time high. That is mostly the pattern for bitcoin, isn’t it? So all we need is just patience why we continue to buy and hold.

For the past 4 days, the chart has been printing bearish candles and this shows the market is in a correction stage. It has corrected from $111,980 to $104,000 and there are still possibilities of the market dropping further. With this findings, I do not think the market is going to get to $120,000 anything soon. We are already at the end of May therefore if we are to see any improvement from Bitcoin price it has to be by the start of next month. If it starts with a bullish candle then we should expect the price to increase but when the start of the month candle is bearish then we should be expecting the market to drop further. $120,000 will likely happen between July and August because I do not see the market getting to that price by next month.

I don't think most people were expecting a new ATH that soon, I personally wasn't. Even though it's not too different from the previous ATH, it's still a new record. From my perspective, when a new record is surpassed, people rush to speculate the next one, which is something I personally don't get. I perfectly understand setting new goals, and there's nothing better than seeing your Bitcoin thrive in value, but it's unrealistic to set such goals that fast. We barely had a new ATH, and we're currently going through a minor correction, the market is slightly bearish, thus, it's a bit unreasonable to expect a new one soon enough.

The price could easily hit 120k or more on the next rise though. I think we definitely go over 120k before the end of this year though.

We will see everything happen faster than we expect, as difficult as 120K seems to be at the moment, when a strong bull run starts, it will not seem too difficult to cross even 150K. The nature of Bitcoin is such that it always moves beyond everyone's expectations. So we have to keep this in mind and think positively and have a long-term holding mindset. Just as Bitcoin made its current ATH of 112K suddenly beyond everyone's expectations, similarly Bitcoin can surprise everyone and cross a big milestone like 200K before the end of this year. Nothing is impossible, so there is no alternative to long-term holding to achieve full benefits of Bitcoin.

Whether it will happen quickly or not in terms of price, it can't be said whether it will or not because in certain unpredictable ways, things that are said to be impossible can be reversed.

Current retracement is just a noise indeed, aside from the fact that people are taking profit, I can't think of any other reason beside the news of tariff which shaken the market a little bit, there are also surge of shorters since people see ATH and they have the sudden urge of shorting, but overall the price action is still great. Next week is crucial because it will show us what action will bitcoin do next, whether go down or go up.

Also think this is the major reason for the current Bitcoin correction.  I also saw a thread about the MVRV Z score that Bitcoin is somehow overvalued with 2.6 score.  With that in mind, it is normal for the market to retrace before pulling another stunt to break the current ATH and record another Bitcoin price height.

I am somehow skeptical about the tariff news, I always have a hard time connecting these tariff implementations to how Bitcoin price fluctuates since the reaction of the Bitcoin market often is not consistent with the news.

These shorters are for sure taking their chance to either profit from the current surge or target to grow their Bitcoin holding by rebuying when the price further dip.

It looks like the road to $120k  is somehow delayed this time since the market retraced to around $104k as of this writing.  Maybe this is just another consolidation period before the market uptrend again.  After all the Bitcoin bull run is far from ending.
