People need to understand that there are no strategies in casino games that one can use to increase their chances of winning, but most of them would even make things worse, take the martingale as an example. Keep making bets normally, regardless of the wins and losses you are getting. Actually, it’s hard to determine what bet is right or wrong bets if we are talking about normal bets. We don’t know what’s the outcome of each bet so everything is just a guessing game until the result was shown already.

I think it has also something to do with your expectation as a whole.

Basically, a person should see gambling primarily for entertainment; and profit as a secondary purpose. Sure we all want to win the jackpot or at least double our money but we also have to be realistic in setting-up our expectations. With all the stories and experiences shared in this forum, we should have at least some sort of an idea on what to expect regarding our time in gambling.

This is also dangerous as far as you are talking about gambling. I will prefer to use small amount of money but I will also aim for small amount of money. If it is betting, I aim for 1.2 but most commonly 1.5 to 2 odds but if it is gambling with casino games, I aim for 2 to 3 odds instead. When I was betting with huge amount of money, I only realized it was an addiction and I changed after I suffered from many losses.

Be realistic that should be the mindset of every gambler.  One should be happy with small winnings since the entertainment becomes free with profit.  But alas, people are really greedy, instead of thanking the opportunity to get free entertainment with some profit, they aim for more, as a result, instead of some winnings they emptied their bankroll, worse they will try to do revenge gambling, and chase for profit that was lost.  At the end, due to chasing losses, the gambler ends up spending more than what he has planned.
